@goca0908, Blue Leaf  Filipinas is very classy! The one that I was in was the Pahiyas. Napaka-spacious. They have a room upstairs where you can re-touch before the reception. Hindi ko na nakita yung ibang halls kasi lahat may event that time.

My fianc? is currently out of the country. We'll start planning for our Dec 2018 wedding by October. If ever we book suppliers by 2017, do we get 2017 rates or not? Thanks. -> it depends upon the supplier. They have different policies. It's best to start scouting and ask them if they do price lock if you book now. A lot of suppliers will allow giving their current rates even if the wedding is next year if you book this year

Almost done with the bookings. Pambayad na lang sa mga balance ang aasikasuhin namin at ang pagpapapayat at pagpapaganda until the wedding day, and of course the execution of all the planning especially the distribution of invitations and favors, personal visit to principal sponsors, etc.

I made sure I started preparing right after we decided on the date, so we can take advantage of the price locks.

Yung mga pinaka malalaking factors ng wedding like church, venue, photo-video, food, lights and sounds, mobile bar, haberdashery, florist, hmua, officially booked na. Pero yung mga logistics areas pencil booking pa lang and will be placing down payments on later part of the year, since matagal pa ang wedding namin. But nonetheless, we have a direction on all the suppliers and all contracts were kept and arranged. Hehe.

The Invitations and Favors are done by yours truly ng pakonti konti. one set per weekend.
If there's anyone who needs assistance, I dont get paid but I'm really glad whenever I help brides like me.

yay! share 'ko lang excitement ko mga sis. we ordered our wedding rings na kagabi tapos i am now finalizing my gown.  kinikilig ako na ewan.

kwento lang, hindi talaga ko mahilig sa mahal na mga jewelries kasi I always lose them somehow pero hubby decided to invest on quite expensive rings and natuwa naman ako don. He's the one to pay naman so goooo! 

hindi ko din plano na magspend ng super laking halaga sa gown kaya I've been doing my best to research on the most affordable supplier there is. Mukhang goal achieved naman!

Hello all! matagal nang lurker, first time to post, planning to be Oct 2018 bride. 
so far listing pa lang kami ni h2b, i'm based overseas - between UK (parents) and SG (work) - si h2b Manila based.

so far may 2 options kami:
a) Chapel on the Hill - can you please suggest reception venue and wedding preps?
b) San Agustin Church, Intramuros - ganun din, any reception venue and wedding preps venue?

small and intimate wedding lang gusto namin, autumn themed. question ko lang, doable ba ang 150k for 100 guests (table included for suppliers na rin) all in? if stretched, 300k. ayaw namin masyadong gumastos sa wedding din kasi pero we want it to be memorable!

PS:
- sa ngalan ng pagtitipid, DIY namin yung mga paper consumables and decors. (Pinterest is helpful)
- di namin priority ang fresh flowers kasi magbabayad kami tapos masasayang, at least pwede iuwi ng mga guests kung gusto nila.
- baka provided lang namin ang mga fabrics ng mga bridesmaids tapos sila na magpapatahi para pwede nila gamitin sa ibang ocassions and yung sa grooms men naman dept store na lang!

We got the Standard Wedding Package ng Quido's.

5000 lang to reserve the date sa kanila diba. torn between them and Queensland.

And yes, 5k non-refundable fee to book the date. It will be deducted sa total balance mo.

Pareho ka na bang nakapag FT sa kanila? I suggest you do a tabular analysis kung sino talaga. Kasi when I did mine, ang daming add ons ni QCS. From the VAT, the drinking water, styling, chairs, etc. Pero lahat ng add-ons nila, inclusive na sa standard wedding packages ni Quido's that is why walang patumpik tumpik kami after we had our FT with Quido's and we saw their styling.

Hello everyone! I've been reading different threads here in GT about weddings for the past few weeks and finally, decided to join na since I'm a 2018 bride as well.

Got engaged last October 10, 2016 and our wedding is on April 14, 2018. The week after we got engaged, I started sending e-mail to all the potential suppliers. Both of us are based abroad so we can only rely all our transactions thru e-mail and Viber/WhatsApp. Thank God for this kind of forums as this is really very helpful especially those who are based abroad.

Happy to say that we already booked about 70% of our suppliers before 2016 ended

hi sis, we'll be getting sana Diamond package ng Queensland kaya kasama na lahat ng upgrades tapos waived pa yung VAT. But, what I especially like with Quido's is kasama na yung drapes sa standard package nila. Although and hirap kausap ng may-ari, panay busy kasi. How do you communicate with them? Tsaka ngapala, isa pang off sa akin with Quido's is they require certain % ulit 1 month after signing of contract. Ganito din ba sa inyo? Medyo kabado ako dun kasi pano kung may biglaang scenario tapos hindi mo na marefund diba? Anyway, hindi kasi kami makapag FT kasi overseas kami. Pero kung food pag-uusapan, ano feedback mo sa kanila?

We are planning to buy hubby's suit here kasi kailangan sukat na sukat sa kanya, hindi pwedeng measurements na ipapadala sa Pinas kasi malaki syang tao, haha.

Yung sa akin naman, planning to look for RTW na lang somewhere dito or pagdating na lang sa Pinas. Hindi kasi okay sa akin magpadala ng measurements sa atin kasi I tend to lose and gain weight fast, I cannot maintain my weight lalo for long period of time... diba usually 6 months for the mananahi to work on the gown? Hindi sya uubra sa akin. 

For the entou, I am actually planning to give them fabric or order infinity dress. Although the latter won't match ata our theme which is Vintage glam. Kaya baka fabric na lang nga.

Saan wedding nio sis? Madami ka na nabook?
