Question: i will be getting my pup next Sunday and he will be 6 weekd old by then. My question is when can I give him a bath? Also, in between after the bath, how do you use the Bearing Dry Shampoo Deodorizers? Is it everyday? Thank you so much

 I use St. Roche organic shampoo... safe for preggy and pups.. another option is Fur magic.. best for dogs na may skin issues..

sa puppy naman with regard the dry shampoo you can use it in between your fur baby's bath pero wag ma overwhelm ha, be careful na wag padin malagyan yung face nya (ears ,mouth, nose & eyes) bad padin kasi sa kanila yun.

Every other day naliligo fur baby namen.. nagiinit pa ko ng hot water for him kasi medyo ginawin and short/quick bath lang pag ganun ka dalas ang paligo..

Thank you sis Gumball. Yeah I have Furmagic actually here. I am confused kasi with what I've read online that I need to wait 3 months before I can give him a bath. The yung breeder naman said, I can bath him na on Sunday. So I can use the dry shampoo everyday or alternate day after bath. Thanks

I would wait a bit to give the puppy a bath. If I recall correctly, it was a week after the first vaccine yata, not so sure. In the meantime, punas punas lang ng damp towel with a bit of shampoo then wipe off and dry. Not sure if dry shampoos are safe for puppies that young though. I just like to be on the safe side.

Nung pwede na maligo yung pup, I looked for tearless shampoo. I used Pepe Karno for puppies and I always have J&J baby shampoo (no more tears!)  even now kahit 3yo na yung "puppy".

As for regular shampoo, dati dapat dog shampoo lang talaga. I'm more relaxed now and share my shampoo with him (Dove) and conditioner. No ill effects naman and his hair is as soft as can be for a shih tzu.

I think with everything, observe first how the dog reacts. If he starts scratching and being out of the ordinary, then discontinue and try another.

I think it's better if  pet shampoos are used for pets.

We use St. Roche for our baby doggie. If hairy [textspeak!] pet, conditioner is needed. He takes a bath twice a week.

St.  Roche is good and makes our puppy's hair whiter and puffier.  I wanna buy the conditioner to see the effect na rin.

^ Try mo pampered pooch sis. Maganda rin kasi may kasamang conditioner na at saka ang bango din.  Yun ang recommended ng vet ng shih namin.

loyal user din ng st roche ang furkid ko... japanese spitz sya kaya di nangangamoy. once-twice a month lang paligo since mabango si kitkat. suklay suklay lang everyday

yes sis... buti nalang once a month lang ang ligo ng spitz ko since anhirap nya paliguan. hehe. di kase sya nagkakaroon ng doggy smell. pero yung toy poodle ko dati once or twice a week dapat ligo. pati aspin namen kase may doggy smell sila. pero ngayun si kitkat nalang inaasikaso ko kaya magaan ang grooming at maintenance

My two Labradors take a bath every other day.  They use St. Roche as their shampoo and Mysterious Madre de Cacao for their soap.

Almonds (shih tzu) uses Play Pets dog shampoo everyday.

Our vet recommended Perla when our dog got a skin infection and ever since, we've stuck to that. She's a chow chow and they're prone to skin disease

Kami since we have a lot of dogs at home we just buy shampoo from watsons and we just mix the shampoo with water para light lang sya for the dog. Ok naman sa dog mabango parang amoy tao na sya and medyo matipid pa sya. Mahal din ng mga dog shampoos eh kung titignan mo even more expensive than normal shampoos hehe

Dati purely dog shampoo user ako pero I'm more relaxed about it na. I use dove for my dog and ok naman yung effect sa kanya, walang dryness or itchiness.

Treat your dog with the same care as you would treat a purebred pet. They have the same sensitive skin under the fur. Our regular soaps can be too harsh. Baby shampoo is a better choice.
