^ Tip lang with watches, you get the most value for money if you buy secondhand from a reputable seller ha. Pero of course it depends on whether your h2b has something against 2nd hand goods.

I usually shop for watches for my uncle and sometimes I find watches that are half or 75% of the original price of a new watch and is in mint condition. Kasi the previous owners are collectors also and rarely wear the watches. I got a 1960's Omega for him complete with original strap and even the original receipt from the Italian store it was first purchased for under P60k.

Also, if you're an overseas bride, check if the country allows a VAT/GST refund.

@Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore: actually, we're both shy, so we're still deciding if we'll read the letters aloud on video! We might just read them silently, to ourselves haha.
But yes, I agree. Anything heartfelt is the best way to go -- whether it be a letter or a gift. To each their own :)

Exactly, yun din isang concern namin, we're shy to read our vows aloud in front of our families and friends without either bursting into tears na super pangit na iyak or matawa haha, lalo na sa Church.

We thought of reading our vows nalang for our SDE maski part of it lang.  :)

And yes, to each his own.  ;)

Nice idea nga din yung cufflinks, or pen para magamit sa work. Now, mas madami na ko options. Thanks mga sis! I'm thinking din to buy him a nice barong para magamit nya pag may hearing sya.

Anyway, tama naman mga sis natin dito, either just a letter or a gift, as long as it comes from the heart.

And I plan to give a letter alongside with the gift 😉

So watch na kaya talaga? But he's super finicky about watches, he likes the really slim types and doesn't like Rolex of Tag Heuer. Gaaaahhhh!!!

My latest idea is a Macbook in Rose Gold (or is that too girly?) he loves kasi rose gold, and he really needs a replacement laptop.  But I don't know, it doesn't have the "aww..." factor I'm looking for.

Counted ba as groom's gift if ikaw ang bumili ng wedding ring nya? I bought the ring with my own money, outside the wedding budget and his ring is much much more expensive than mine. Like 4x more.

Hmmm. Nice idea! Thanks sis @barbillie 😊

Pro samahan ko siguro ng latest version ng psp or any games. 😊

sa mga magreregalo ng watch, consider ninyo rin how much ang maintenance ng watch or kung magkano man more or less ang service prices nila. yung iba medyo mura kapag binili mo pero mahal ang service.

Hi girls!

Share ko lang na I will be giving my H2B a handmade gift. Sasamahan ko siya ng limited edition na comicbook of his favorite series since that's his top interest.

How I ended up choosing these as gifts:
--- I asked myself what are his main interests in life. From there, make it premium or unique in a sense that this gift will set it apart from all the other gifts given in other special occasions.
--- Consider his personality and ask kung ibibigay ko ba to, will he appreciate it? Knowing H2B, he's not into branded items. Mas gusto nya gifts that involve time and effort. Ang mga memorable sa kanya na gifts, yung mga panahon na pinaghandaan ko siya ng birthday feast, or gumawa ako ng cake (kahit non-baked pa).
--- On gifts, what he thinks matter much more than what I think. Hindi dahil nakita ko na it would look great on him, or he deserves this luxurious item, bibilhin ko na. He'll appreciate it, but he might not love it. Tapos ako pa magtatampo na di gagamitin. Syempre ayoko nang ganun na scenario ;D

Kung nag-iisip pa kayo ng gift, just put a lot of thought into it and I'm sure your H2B will be really happy. :)

If your H2B likes whiskey, Crystal whiskey glasses and decanter set.

My H2B likes his whiskey. He already has a set of whiskey glasses from Royal Doulton, I was going to buy him a matching decanter kaya lang I was cleaning the house today and I found a decanter. He forgot that he has it na. So medyo fail yung gift idea ko, pero sharing na din in case anyone has a H2B that likes liquor.

I was browsing the subjects when I came across this topic. Found this really funny and cute at the same time due to personal reason. Katuwa lang kasi my fiance is saying na bakit daw ba lately nauso yung "exchange gifts" ng bride and groom, hahaha! Eh dati naman daw non existent yun.

Well anyways, we keep on joking kung ano yung gift namin for each other. In my opinion, it is better to give your husband to be a gift that will last a lifetime or something that really matters to him. I don't have against giving him the latest gadget and the likes, per I think it will be more special if you give him something na pwede niyo ipakita sa future children and grandchildren niyo. Whether it is expensive or mura lang or you made it yourself lang, as long as it will last, for me that matters :)
