Favorite deals or great buys at a Bridal/Wedding Fair

Hello! I'd like to modify this thread. To those who have found some of their suppliers in bridal/wedding fairs. What are the best deals you got? Among the items you bought/closed a deal with during the fair, who are the suppliers you'd like to refer? What kind of discount did you get?

^ hi sis. before anything else, do you have an idea na ba on what type of wedding you'd like to have and what you'll be needing? Before kasi nung nag attend ako ng bridal fair nang wala pa akong clear vision sa wedding ko, parang lahat ng nice stuff na nakita ko dun gusto ko ibook. hahaha

but IMO, for a good start try securing your must haves-kesa sa nice-to-haves (wedding ring, gown, p/v & invitation) muna.

^Do you mean what to book at wedding fairs? because I don't think you should buy things sa fair.. Well first off wag ka magbook kaagad.. Your first time, you should just scout for suppliers that you like, talk to them and get their rates and offerings. After that research mo yung mga nasa short list mo, look for reviews before deciding which ones you would really like. Then kung kaya mo, timingan mo sila sa next bridal fairs for more freebies. Although, some suppliers still offer the same freebies if you tell them that you talked to them during the fair that you went to.

I'm a 2017 bride din. We booked our photographer during 2015 bridal fair. But before that, we spent i think around 7 mos. researching what kind of photography style we like, then we attended a bridal fair to book them para may discount  and at the same time malock yung price. hehe Photographer was the 2nd supplier we booked next to our wedding venue. ☺️

^ Booking suppliers in a wedding fair is really a good advice since you can get huge discounts and/or freebies. But please do not that despite you book them during the bridal fair, you should have at least made a research (thorough research) about them to make sure that they are really the suppliers that you want, especially the photo, video, venue, hmua. Make you research first then ask them if they will attend bridal fairs so you can book them there.

On the other hand, there are some minor suppliers that can be booked immediately in a bridal fair when you feel that they are okay, but still do a little research!

In my case, I booked the following in a bridal fair:
- venue and food - but we already talked before and they just told me to book before the fair so I can get a free room.
- invitations - but I already researched about it and i booked the one which is nearest to my place (para madaling magpaedit makita yung mock invites, etc.)
- Cake - i booked it in a fair - tinikman ko lahat ng cakes na may free taste, sa kanila pinakamasarap and mura pa.
- Flowers - booked it in a fair. not very particular with flowers kasi.
- rings - booked it in a fair but from our province din sila so kakilala namin, just booked it there to get the discount. hehe

I agree make sure to research about the suppliers first before booking them. Ok din yung attend muna kayo para makapagtingn-tingin then create a shortlist nung mga nagustuhan niyo during your first vist tapos research na. Pag nakapag research na kayo, attend ulit then start booking na. Swerte na lang kasi kahit di kayo mag attend ng fair (2nd visit)  basta sinabi niyo dun sa supplier (pag kinontact nyo sila) na sa fair nyo sila nakita (1st visit) pwedeng ibigay pa din nila yung applicable discounts/freebies.
