Paying it forward 

With two months away from our April 18, 2017 - Tagaytay wedding, we're almost done madami pang time, we are both based abroad, so the rest needs to be arranged/attended to na talaga when we come home like my gown fittings, pending documents etc. We tried our very best to avoid as much work to be done, lalo na sa mga gowns and fittings since we are based abroad, ayaw namin makaabala masyado sa friends or family members and mastress sa communication with the modista haha, because I noticed yun ata yung part na medyo magulo talaga, we also don't want our entourage and parents mahassle sa mga fittings, and balik balik sa mananahi etc tapos only to hear na di sila happy with the output, kaya we embraced RTW with open arms, ultimo sa prenup outfits.  Aside sa documents na kailangan talaga namin tulong ng parents/siblings, iniwasan namin, makaabala ng ibang tao, so lahat effort ko haha at ng Suppliers, most especially Ms. Kris and Sir Willie. I hope this list helps our future Tagaytay Brides din like me who started with no idea at all kung san magsisimula haha! Good luck sa preps!

Note : Super happy namin right now, sa preps, sa timeline, sa lahat-lahat, we are enjoying and savouring each moment, kilig, enthusiastic and very much looking forward na sa wedding, prenup and honeymoon. As per the budget, we're still on track, so far, we feel na magexceed kami sa budget na 700k pero konti lang, and that's because lahat halos ng "wants" namin naisama namin, and we felt, na di naman kami super nag scrimp.

Regarding sa L&S mo sis pinapili ka na ba ni kuya willie between Artuz101 and Intensity 8? And sinong DJ mo na c/o L&J is that same na sa L&S? Anong mga freebies nabigay sayo ni Kuya willie and regarding sa design ng reception mo sa CDC sis what are your plans?? Sorry daming tanong. Hahaha! We have almost the same supplier kasi. LOL! And last na pala sa crew meals how much per meal don sakanya sis???

ChixC18 no worries, this is exactly the same reason why I posted my Suppliers, happy to help.

Sa L/S Artuz 101 and Intensity 8 nga ang options, magdiscuss pa kami, mas prominent ang Artuz 101 pero mas maganda daw gamit ng Intensity 8. Balitaan kita Sis. 

I also asked them if I needed pa ba to get a LED Wall, baka mabitin kami sa laki or sa specs, di naman daw, binigay ko din sa Video team ko specs nung wide screen, enough na daw, no need to spend na. 

Sa freebies, nothing unusual hehe, pareho lang din sa iba.  Sa design ko, is basta pasok sa rustic theme, yung all white nila na ginagamit preferred ko, I noticed na limited naman styling nila kaya dun ako sa safe, ayoko magrisk sa colors, pag di kasi maganda fabric or what di maganda output, so all white with a touch of yellow na flowers are way better for me. Basta since April ako, summer and floral rustic ang peg ko, nag dagdag ako kay Sir Edgar, and willing pako magdagdag basta maachieve nya yung gusto ko na madaming flowers na white and yellow since dun ako babawe, Garden reception ako, ayoko mag scrimp sa flowers, lalo na bagay naman sa season.

Nagadd din ako for the cake, may pinapagaya ako. 

Sa crew meals, ng Chew Go (breakfast - 85 lunch 125 yung basic, + addtl. fee sa water and extra rice), so far way cheaper than the rest, actually gusto ko na ibook at isettle lahat, kaso si Ms. Kris and Sir Willie nagsasabi na madadali lang yung iba kasi nga contact na nila, so maski paguwe ko na daw sayang daw remittance fee.

IVY2018 Sis, haha nice!  Actually, dapat choir ko sa Church is yung resident Choir sana ng SADP, for the mass songs lang, plano ko recorded bridal march ko and yung sa entourage and post nup and pictorial, medyo mahirap kasi yung bridal march song na napili ko, ayun, nung nakita ko nakanta na pala ni Madz, and wow, just wow, super angelic ng voice, sold na haha, pagkausap namin in 1 day, nagbayad nako, good things she's still free, quartet kinuha ko, though I preferred not to have a band sa reception. Good luck sa FT!

@Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore Wow almost done! And lapit ka na mag graduate sa prep. Happy for you. Anyway, we are also planning to have our prenup in Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort. How much yung rate nila? Plan din namin i-set yung prenup sa birthday ni H2B para tuloy outing na pagkatapos. Baka alam mo rate nila for prenup shoot and room rate? Thanks

camilleXboots thank you! Stilts' prenup rate is 2,500 + 385/head entrance fee + kung gusto mo magrent ng open hut, or airconditioned small function room, or an actual room. 

May corkage sa food and drinks, no issue for me, both of my prenup shoots, nagpa arrange ako food for breakfast, lunch and snack sa in house restaurant para less hassle for me. Pero if you prefer sa labas kumain or magbaon, mas tipid, I guess.

^^ Thanks for the feedback sis Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore!!! How much did you add for the cake sis? Pero yung free cake nila sobrang basic lang ba? And anong package kinuha mo sa L&J i believe yung all in? So ang host mo ba is si Ms Kris? Kasi im torn between getting Ms Kris and another host na guy naman from my OTD. Wala kasing video si Ms Kris ng hosting niya so im confused. Di ko alam pano mag handle ng event si Ms Kris though nakausap ko nadin naman siya a lot of times already.

Sa L/S naman i might get Artuz101 kasi kausap ko na si Sir Nelson sa email (habang kausap ko din si Kuya willie) he gave me discount din for the string lights. LOL. Saka mas napili sila ng band na hinire ko mas okay daw tunog ni Artuz.

Ako naman sis naka kuha ako ng sobrang afforadable na LED wall from my P/V supplier pero iniisip ko kung itutuloy ko pa kasi feeling ko too big siya for CDC or sakto lang ba? Di ako mapalagay. 

Buti ka pa sis pasok na agad yung theme mo sa mga items na meron sila kuya willie ngayon ako mag wait pa ng upgrades nila pero meron nadin naman paunti unti inferness to L&J. Hihi.

ChixC18 sa cake, maliit lang naman additional fee, actually naked cake samin, 2,500 Php lang inadd ko. Not sure sa usual nilang cakes, ang alam ko sa no. of edible tier magdedepende ang upgrade. Paki confirm nalang. Pero yang 2500 kasi lahat na edible, mga 4 tiers ata. Ata, ha, sorry Sis, medyo vague ako sumagot haha kasi sa totoo lang di ako masyado mabusisi. Lol. 

Sa L/S naman sabi ni Sir, preferred daw ng iba Intensity 8 like si Ms. Kris, saka mas magaganda daw gamit, though up to me kung sino sa 2, like may ready amber lights na daw si Intensity 8 lagi na hinahanap ng p/v teams for good shots. Magdecide pa kami kung sino sa meeting.

Yes, even before kasi peg ko na talaga yung wedding ni Heart na puro white lang, flowers and styling.
