oo nga sis, kami din i will be going home again ng Janaury for hubby's confirmation,  precana, food tasting, final detailing with stylist, second fitting,

Finally accomplished the following this week:
PS giveaway - Ninang (pearl clutch) Ninong (CK perfumes)
Entourage - Female (clutches) Male (ties,socks, cufflinks and whisky) 
Bought black boxes and DIY wrappers and ribbons
Booked Led Walls for Metrotech

Left for booking:
Hotels - Im torned with manila pen,fairmont, raffles makati and discovery primea(only hotel that allowing crew meals)booking 3 bedrooms total. Btw fairmont and raffles are allowing photo ops just needed to pay for the permit. Manila pen only allows couples holding reception in the hotel.

Lights and Sounds (High Impact) Waiting for confirmation.  Ayaw namin ng madaming color na lights. we just want to set mood on our venue.

Additional stylist (Amante Fleurs) waiting for final quote  for drapes and ceremony. Parang gusto ko na i-go sa kanila. Im only spending 150K at most for all styling, i rented out chairs to robert blancaflor cause my caterer doesnt have black chairs. 

Additional stylist (Vatel Manila) Need to book back the flowers of the entourage. I initially cancelled my booking cause of Gary of Mindworks but since my peg came from vatel manila so balik sa kanila.

Invitation and wbesite - Hindi pa nasisimulan ni hubby yung deisgn. Siya lahat gagawa ng graphics pati monogram and some presentation for the venue. Animator kasi si hubby so forte nya yun.

Sana wala ako nakalimutan.

lots-o gosh Sis, May ka, April ako mauuna pako sayo pero I have a hunch na way way prepared ka kesa sakin haha. Pero tama yan, yung small details, such as wedding accessories, crew meals and the likes bigla yan mag pile up and suddenly we don't know kung ano na uunahin. I noticed accomplished mo na PS giveaways, haven't given it much thought, yet, pero will do soon. Made a thorough checklist na, so I'm quite confident may guide nako come January.

... I'm guessing this question is for me? tee hee!  sis kung san malaki ang store ni Cinderella, for sure lahat yun may dresses for formal events. pero kung san branch specifically ako may nakita, these are Robinsons Ermita branch (1.8k lang yung dress pero super ganda. kaya lang baka kasi maconscious masyado mga abay ko sa style dahil super low back), and another style (which is the one priced at 2.2k nga) sa Glorietta branch.

alam ko malaki din yung Cinderella sa ATC alabang so if taga south ka, unahin mo na icheck yun sis

^ Yes sis. even if they don't have the size you need at hand for example or if you need more pieces, they will order it for you tapos in one week ready for pick up na daw. that's what the sales attendant told me ha pero syempre I don't assume na one week nga lang talaga.

Finally found myself a floral chiffon fabric. But the problem is the color is pink and blue! Pink and gray motif ko. So I'm thinking of changing  my motif to pale pink and dusty blue or just adding blue to the palette. hahahah.. Bought chiffon and lining for my entou's  skirt and then neoprene for the top in divi. Floral chiffon is 115/yard and lining I bought is only 20/yard. Neoprene is 160/yard. yay!

Already have PS souvenirs. We bought whiskey for the Ninong. and bath gels and soaps for the Ninangs.

It has been a very busy 2 weeks. We had our prenup shoot and our final food tasting with our caterer. We are still finalizing our invitation and still can't decide what hotel we will have our preps.
Feb 18 din kami and I'm starting to feel na behind na kami sa preparation.

Lots-o, may I know how much are the permits for both raffles and fairmont? Thanks!

We had our pre-marriage workshop last weekend. 2 day workshop, 8:30am to 5pm, Sat and Sun. Nakakapagod pero I enjoyed it. It made me realize na andaming time spent on preparing for the wedding, pero talagang less thought goes into the marriage.

Not sure if all workshops are run this way pero our seminar topics are:
- sacrament or marriage
- eros and agape (love)
- gift of children
- communication
- sharing from a young couple
- sharing from an older couple
- finances (investment, wealth accumulation, cashflow, estate planning and retirement)

Now organizing the paper work.

TBH, I've lost steam with the wedding preps. Tinatamad na ako.

Is it the precana seminar? Where did you take it? Cefam? Discovery? Ako rin Im tinatamad to do anything about the wedding haha.

Yes, pre-cana sa local church namin overseas. Parang maganda yung program ng CEFAM.

 I think kulang lang sa amin yung facilitated dialogue. Pero there were segments naman in our seminar were we were asked to discuss or complete the worksheets together.

5 months pa kasi yung wedding and mostly finished na yung major suppliers - cake na lang kulang. I should have listened to H2B when he said have the wedding in October. If we did tapos na sana kami. Akala ko lang we will need more time to prepare. Kasi if October, that's only 8 months of prep, I wanted at least a year.

^i also wanted a year of preparation. pero si h2b, kahit less than a year daw  - more or less 8mos prep if magstart kami ng january then august ang wed. ang concern ko naman kasi eh para makahanap kami ng cheaper price since malayo pa ang kasal and also because i enjoy planning/excited ako. haha. pero kung di nya concern ang gastos, edi better. less than a year nalang namin gawin. hahaha.

Samin naman kahit May 2017 pa kasal, we started planning early this year so by next week, we would have booked most of our suppliers already.

By January 2017, puro documents/church requirements and fitting na lang iniisip namin. Nirerequire kasi ng church na the documents should be issued within 6 months before the wedding date, kaya nagstart na kami magbook ng suppliers nang paunti-unti throughout the year.

On our end, it's less stressful this way tsaka nakuha pa namin suppliers at a lower rate. I was even told by a wedding coordinator that a lot of suppliers increase their rates every year.

Main reason ni H2B for having the wedding earlier is because he wants to start having kids ASAP. Hindi sya masyado concerned sa budget. Ako lang ang concerned...

Ako naman I wanted a longer engagement kasi I was concerned fully booked na lahat. When  I was helping my uncle plan his wedding ages ago, I saw the venues were fully booked 1.5 years ahead of the wedding date. Di naman pala ganon sa Bohol. So we could have really done a shorter engagement.

I'm trying to book a meeting with our local priest. Kailangan pa kasi ng Certificate of Freedom to Marry from local parish.

Ako naman, hinde sa tinatamad, more of chillax haha, na parang sa months of research, tapos booked na major Suppliers, feeling ko minor nalang the rest and lahat naman may target na more of detailing nalang. Plano din namin itodo come January, palipasin holidays muna. April 2017 kami, almost 5 months nalang, pero I feel ang haba pa non, lalo na if you already have pegs na, ang mahirap naman kasi is choosing and research. Once you know kung ano na gusto mo, bayad nalang and communications with the Suppliers. I'm also not the kind na iscrutinize pa yung mga tiniest details, kaya siguro ako relaxed. Haha!  I have this bigger picture, confident nako sa Suppliers to do their works.  Also talked to some Suppliers and Coordinators na ideal time talaga to finish eveything is 3 mos before the wedding.

@lots-o - for overseas guests, sending our invites in December (4-5 months ahead). For guests in the Philippines,late  January pa. H2B wants to send invites early kasi when we were looking for accommodation, madaming hotels na booked out na. Kasi week after Holy Week yung wedding namin,

My deadline for the RSVP is 2nd week of March for our April 23rd wedding.

^Kami 2 years preps but that's because of money concerns. hehe..We wanted to save for the wedding ng hindi madalian. Planning for a wedding in 8 months pwede naman pag hindi kayo peak season sis pretty_B.
