For me:

I have to get a cerificate of no impediment for both of us kasi we're not Filipino citizens.
Birth certificates
CENOMAR
Attend family planning seminar

If have the civil wedding here, I just need to apply for the license and present my birth certificate.

Hello,

Oct.26 pa ang balik namen for pick-up.. Mabilis lang don walang kapila-pila.. P195 for Cenomar Cert P40 Processing fee ata nila..

Waaahhh!
Pero maayos yan, may time pa naman..
Malaking tiwala lang sa Dios 😊

Yung ibang sissies naten,

Would anyone know how long it takes to apply for a marriage certificate in QC City Hall? Planning to take the morning off from work.. hoping I won't need a full day for this?

Ok lang yun kasi yung documents may "expiration" date. Like marriage license kailangan 3 months old, birth certificate within one year, baptismal and confirmation certificate is 6 months din.

Hello mga sis! Ilang months ba before ng wedding dapat inaasikaso mga wedding docs? 7 months to go pero wala pa kami naayos hehe.

Sis for me 4 months before kasi madali lang request ng birth cert and cenomar dahil online, tapos yung baptismal at confirmation madali din at usually bukas naman ang church ng weekend at pwede ipakuha sa iba. Make sure lang as early as now check the original docs sa spelling para di na hassle pag nag-asikaso ka na.

Birth certificate, cenomar, cedula, barangay clearance, and seminar yan ang mga requirements sa Marriage License (meron lang mga municipality na di yan kukunin lahat, but just to be safe kumpletuhin mo na).

Ang isa pang medyo matagal Marriage License kasi it will take 1-2 weeks.

Wedding Banns and permit you need to request sa church kung saan ka ikakasal then pag nakuha mo na, bring it sa church ng barangay ninyo this will take 2-3 weeks.

And lahat halos yan may bayad! Hahaha! Or yung iba pag church donation lang. :)

This coming holiday uwe ako, one week lang to meet our suppliers. Then sunod ko ng uwe is April 7-11. Anjan na pre-cana,canonical and pre-nup. Uwe ko na sunod a week before our wedding.
Booked na yung flight ko for those dates.

Sis girlush! Wag ka ma-stress.. Medyo overwhelming talaga siya.. Ako din I caught myself na parang di makatulog kakaisip ano gagawin at paano mag start. May advice for you, hingi ka tulong sa parents mo or someone na willing ka help to process everything.

Basta make sure na unahin mo yung madadali then call the city municipality kung ano requirements (try mo ipakiusap na there's a possibility na di kayo magkasama ni h2b or ipakuha sa relative yung license). Yung cedula naman basta kung ano meron ka dated this year. Also if barangay clearance is needed, call them first to check ano need pag nagpunta dun to get a clearance (In my case kasi kailangan nandun kami ni h2b at may witness with cedula).

Make sure may weekdays. And if possible na mag leave ka around Feb kahit 1 week lang to process everything na kulang.

Similar tayo ng timeline, we are getting married mid-April.

In addition to all the normal documents, we also need a CNI from the embassy kasi pareho kaming non-Filipino. Nakakainis nga kasi akala ko if I'm a dual citizen pede ko i-skip yung CNI, hindi daw.

Yung docs ni H2B end of November ko plano kuhanin kasi may 1 month na closure pag Christmastime, kailangan ko makuha before kami umuwi ng end of January.

9months to go pero di pa kami makapagstart kasi naman may expiry nga yung docs. Sa church namin, sa MAY 2017 kami magaayos kasi uwi din kami for my cousins wedding. Tamang tama lang 2 months before ng wedding namin yun. nabasa ko at least one day each sa munisipyo and sa church ang iallot. Buti nalang my parents know people sa church and sa munisipyo kaya hindi masyado hassle for us, pwede kasi si mama magasikaso na nun. Punta nalang kami to apply for marriage license and attend pre cana kasi yun dapat personal.

Mga sis yung cedula ba dapat saan kukunin? Dun sa munisipyo na kung saan magaapply? BTW, dito sa Manila nung kumuwa kami before, pinadala pa yung 2316 namin, kasi yung binayaran namin sa cedula, 1 pesos for every 1000 nasa income mo.

Thank you mga sis!!

If missing yung confirmation certificate, request ka na lang ng bago from the church. Alam nya ba kung san sya na-confirm?

You need to request new copies of baptismal and confirmation certificates. Di pwede yung original.

^^ Oo sis. Usually sa Munisipyo kung san kayo nakatira pero since based kayo abroad siguro kung san na lang kayo kukuha ng license. And yep ganun talaga yung fee.

As to Confirmation certificate, usually ang required ng church e copy na may annotation na For Marriage Purpose. Tapos you can just request sa church kung san sya nagkumpil.

For those who are located outside the country, ok na yung 4 months before the wedding basta full time niyo aasikasuhin lahat ng requirements. And tama lahat ng details niyo.

I've also noticed that City Municipalities have different requirements (Pasig, Mandaluyong, and QC) yan kasi yung mga na-check ko kaya call them up para alam niyo na where to start.

Cedula is available sa City Municipality Office, di ko lang sure if Barangay Hall can also issue that pero to be safe sa Munisipyo na kayo pumunta.

Don't worry kung nawawala ang original copies ng Baptismal at Confirmation kasi you can always request for a new one and yun ang requirement ng church dahil kailangan may nakalagay na "For Marriage Purpose".

Basta my tip is double check your requirements you have at home kasi pag may mali sa spelling ng name it will take longer than the ideal time to prepare for the requirements.

Lahat ng inputs ko are based from my personal experience kasi nandito kami ngayon sa stage na ito. Hehe :)

All this paper work takes the romance out of getting married.

Wala na kasing time and 4 hours din yun.

Yung pre-cana namin in 2 weeks. Quite excited about that actually.

Hi ask ko lang mga sis cause we have postponed our wedding, we already booked 80% and requested the postponement of our suppliers, somehow on track naman na lahat sa wedding preps except for informing our entourage about the new date of the wedding. Our wedding will be May 2017 and yung babang luksa naman with MIL who died will be on November pero ika 1 yr death anniversary niya sa January. When kaya kami pwede magannouce ng date?
