^ sis pareho tayong apr 2017. summer and ice cream ang theme namin. Mejo mahirap maghanap ng mas adult ideas, mostly kasi pang-kids. pero we're thinking of getting an ice cream sorbetero for our wedding. ask ko lang kung ano ano na na-book ninyo? madami pa yata kami na kulang. dapat ba by this time nakapag-meeting na with the caterer/photographer? reservation pa lang kasi nagawa namin.

re pinterest-y ideas/photos, currently addicted din ako dito. blogs, fb pages, tips, etc. but i have to admit that i know one day masstress na lang din siguro ako. dami kasi talaga pagpipilian, tapos ang dami mo gusto. hahaha. but hopefully each one of us will find "the one". hindi lang ang mga partner natin pati suppliers, ideas, etc. hehe.

i registered na sa getting married bridal fair this coming nov 2016 (though parang mas madami atang suppliers for jan 2017), as suggested ng sis natin dito. i talked to h2b and agree naman sya sa gusto ko na magplan na kami kahit next year pa talaga ang start ng gastos. hehe. umpisahan namin sa pagattend ng bridal fairs. sabi nya, i'll let him know about sa mga sinesearch ko about wedding preps para may idea din sya. hindi ko sya ineexpect na maging kasing busy ko sa prepping but knowing that he also wants to be part of the preps, nakakataba ng puso. <3 hihi.

I am a 2017 bride on a budget. simple wedding lang pero classy ang gusto namin. any ideas kung ano pa yung pwede mong tipirin for the wedding? i plan to have a wedding playlist na lang instead of live bands, paper/fabric flowers instead of real ones and DIYs sa photobooth props/backdrop. i initially thought of not getting a OTD wed coordinator but i've read horror stories here in GT kaya kukuha na kami.

Hi sis! San wedding mo?  Don't worry ako din long way to go pa. So far lahat naman may target nako and may kausap na pero ang nabook ko palang is:

Church, Venue, Caterer, Couturier, and OTD Coordinator na nagassist sakin madalas maski OTD lang sya dapat.

I'm trying my best i limit ang cost at the same time magfocus lang sa mahalaga, wala na masyado add ons. Dami ko na inalis like fireworks, souvenirs ko photobooth photos nalang, invitation ko sa Principal Sponsors nalang.

Gusto ko ienjoy to at the same time wag masyado mahassle sa small details haha! Excited akos a prenup and honeymoon sa totoo lang din. 

May kausap nako P/V, Florist, HMUA, Photo booth, supplier ng infinity dress sa abays ko, bridal car and bike (Harley Davidson ang peg ng g2b ko sakyan haha) so far yun palang.

May target nako prep house, suit rental for the abays. 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer lang kukuhain ko. So medyo madali nalang hanapan ng damit.

^UP Diliman wedding kami.  Caterers/venue/p&v booked. audrey sabandon for my bridesmaids (though di pa kami nakakabili). OTD, HMUA, photobooth, hotel wala pang final contracts pero naka pili na kami. florist wala pa kasi di pa ko decided if i'll get one for the church.

Some small details i'll DIY para may personal touch like bowtie ni ring bearer at headdress ni flower girl, etc. Bridal car sa friend ko lang.

Ang exciting at nakakakaba at the same time. Let's embrace the chaos, once in a lifetime lang to. Best wishes in advance!

Hi mga fellow 2017 brides!

Just wanna ask how long na kayo engaged ni h2b bago ang BIG DAY next year? I got engaged last August and May 2017 na wedding namin. I've been getting comments from a few others na masyado daw mabilis ang wedding planning so I just wanna know if may GTs rin dito na nararanasan yung ganong comments? Hihi

depends on the suppliers you want to get sis. if andun ka sa "the popular ones" category, eh baka nga kulangin ka sa oras since probably by now booked na sila.

^^hi sis Tincywincy, may mga iba lang kasi ako naririnig na comments sa family members kung enough daw ba ang 8 months. Pero so far, okay narin naman kami sa major suppliers like Church, Caterer + Venue, and P/V minor ones nalang kailangan ma-book.

I agree depende talaga sa supplier. I started to replan 9 months kaso weekday na ako due to unavailability of my chosen suppliers. I didnt choose the date yun nalang talaga available.  Not unless August which is maulan kaya ayaw namin. I have booked 85 percent of the suppliers, Kulang nalng ng lights and sounds, projector/led wall (confuse ako kung 100 guest namin lang sabi ni h2by mag projector nalng para tipid?)  Souvenir, fittings and church requirements, invitation.

Magstart nako magdetailing ng January (Invites, florist, stylist) since overseas kami parehas.

Same tayo halos, Audrey Sabandon din ako, pero di naman daw kailangan magrush basta may tela sya, inadvise nya ko mga January na uli bumalik sakanya. Lahat din may kausap na kami halos, wala palang DP and Contract. Parang enough nga ang 3 mos before the wedding yung minor details. Lalo na kung fickle minded pa.

Sis May 2017 din ako  parehas pala tayo sa 12th ako. San wedding mo sis?

For me, madali mag-plan (kahit 6 months prior pa yan) if may enough budget.  Kasi if tipid mode, ang hirap mag-hanap ng pasok sa budget tapos pasok din sa standard/taste ng couple.  Effort talaga sa pag-research and collecting quotations.

I've been researching for suppliers since January and up until now wala pa kami church and venue (August 2017 wedding namin). Panic mode na ko    We found a reception venue na ok and pasok sa budget tapos ayaw naman ng in-laws so they suggested another venue and sila na daw magbabayad kahit mahal.  Tapos biglang nadagdagan yung guest list, so hindi na kami fit sa first choice namin and their suggested venue nila so eto hanap na naman ako ng iba. Until makahanap ako ng venue, hindi rin kami maka-settle ng church kasi kelangan magkalapit sila since maulan ang August at ayoko ma-traffic.

hi sis writergal27! kami ~10months prep lang din.. from my experience mas okay ang less than a year to prepare, pag sobrang tagal puede pang magpabago-bago ang isip sa details, mas nakaka-stress..

Hopefully makahanap ka na sis. Nakakastress nga yan. Pero research lang ng research hehe
Kami kasi kahit 8 mos. lang ang prep, wayback 2015 kasi nakapagdown na kami ng venue and church. Kasi napaguusapan na namin yung kasal. Kasi Feb 18 yung date na gusto namin and alam namin na hot date sya kasi Feb tapos 8 pa yung dulo.
It's just that nung May this year lang sya nagpropose. hehe Kaya yung mga ibang supplier yung binook namin after the proposal.
