sis @ficklemind - sabi ng OB ko, ang best time daw to do is 22-24 weeks for CAS para maliit pa din si baby at makikita pa yung sa loob. pag malaki na daw mahihirapan na daw icheck ang mga parts kasi masikip na sa loob. not sure lang kung meron pa din tumatanggap to do CAS.

sis@ sixteen_16 - take care sis. am taking childbirth classes na. 24 weeks ako so pag natapos yun, 27 weeks ako or 6 months. dun sa nabasa ko so net, best time to take is 28-32 weeks para di daw masyado late or maaga (for retention ng learning). pero inask ko naman yung speaker, 6th month daw okay na din to attend.

2 weeks delayed na ang prenatal checkup ko, holiday tapos nagkasakit si OB. hayss, My last Ultrasound was last week of Dec pa,  wala pa ulit request si Dra. Nakakapraning, musta na kaya baby ko, ano na kaya position niya?
Hirap na ako makatulog, kahit nakatagilid masakit, parang may natutusok, feeling ko nasasaktan si baby. 30 weeks today.

i feel you sis.. 30-31 weeks na rin. hirap din matulog kasi may masakit. check up yesterday, sabi ni ob basta lagi lang ako mag-binder/support pag nakatayo. i can take duvadilan kung sobrang sakit at shempre take a rest. yung head kasi ni baby andyan na talaga sa may puson kaya marami syang napupush or feeling natutusok. sobrang likot pa naman ni baby ko. mejo malaki din si baby ko kesa sa age nya. fault ko at ng carbs. wahuhuhu. last ultrasound ko december din, sonologist and ob said ok naman si baby. next ultrasound ay iseschedule pa lang next check up (in 2weeks).

hopefully make-pacheck up ka na, para less praying (hiram kasi iwasan no?). wish you well

For childbirth classes, you can check Center for Patient Patrnership fb page ng medical city. It's open to all, not so expensive (1k per couple for 4 or 5 topics) at may freebies pa.

Hi girls! Had my CAS sa St. Lukes QC a week ago, thank God and normal lahat. First baby ko ito and we've been waiting a long time for this baby kaya super laging praning. We're having a boy! Pansin ko parang maraming boys na ipapanganak this year

Anyone who attended Pregnancy Pause yesterday? Very informative but nabitin ako sa breastfeeding kasi super clueless ako hehe. May marerecommend ba kayong breastfeeding class? Thanks!

Question mga mommies, nagpalit ba kayo ng Ob nyo?

Im currently 25 weeks and napagusapan namin ng family na para makatipid, lumipat kami ng OB Kay Dr.Gatapia ng Taytay Maternity. Main reason is mas mura from 90k, pede maging 30k ang CS. Then if normal, nasa 12k. Aside dun, every checkup daw kasi sa kanya is 150 then lagi pa may ultrasound.

Dapat ba iinform ko si current OB na lilipat na ako or just stop going na lang sa checkups?

sis tequillaxxii. ako sis lumipat ako ng OB. yung first OB ko kasi infertility specialist din and REI , may condition kasi ako na pcos so siya yung nagtreatment sa akin.  Sa manila doctors yun, dinadayo pa namin kasi we are from cavite. anyway, when I got pregnant, nagpaalam na din kami lumipat sa OB sa cavite siyempre mas madali yung accessible lang kami sa hospital tsaka mas mura. so nagsabi kami sa OB, okay naman sa kanya, tapos ang ginawa niya lang pinag-blood test ako para malaman niya kung high risk para may recommendation daw siya sa doctors sa cavite, just in case. baka case to case basis din sis.

yun friend ko kasi sa makati med siya nagpapacheck tapos nung malapit na siya manganak, lumipat lang siya sa OB sa calamba (kasi dun siya talaga manganganak). di naman na siya nagpaalam.

You may advise your current OB. Just make sure that  all results of laboratories and diagnostics are with you can provide it to your new OB once she looked for it.

^ ako din sis, medyo dilemma ko din yan ngayon e..sinabi kasi sakin ng ob ko na dapat maglabor nako before due date para makapag VBAC pako..And im not sure if pag nagemergency cs ako, naka bikini cut pa din ba ako or yung vertical cut which is dahil medyo old school pa siya (ob siya ng mom ko pa)..I wanted her kasi ok naman siya at pasok sa budget naman CGH, ayoko lang kasi parang tinatakot niya ako lagi na baka maCS ako uli if hindi ako maaga naglabor or pag masyado lumaki si baby sa tyan..

sis @sixteen_16 - am attending childbirth classes now at isa sa mga dinidiscuss dun yung pagiging open ng mommies sa possibilities ng mga procedures na gagawin sa kanya. hehe. at least dapat maexplain sayo bakit ka kailangang i-CS. meron kasi akong classmate, sabi CS siya kasi package na daw yun. haha.weird. anyway, sana dun ka sa kumportableng procedure for you.

mga sissies? anyone of you na breech ang position ni baby. am on my week 26th. pinapakiusapan ko pa si baby na umikot para di ako ma-CS.

26 weeks na din ako and breech position bebe ko (ulo nya nasa right, pwet nasa left kaya pala yung sipa nya laging nasa kanan), kung ano ano na ginagawa ko dito.
1. Kinakausap na wag kami mahirapan dalawa kaya sana pumuwesto na siya sa tamang position.
2. Nagpapatugtog ng music, as in tinatapat ko sa baba para daw sumunod siya dun (ewan ko kung totoo)
3. Tinatapatan ng ilaw para sumunod daw dun (ewan ko din if totoo)

Sabi naman ng OB, minsan daw sa last week iikot. Kung hinde daw umikot, need talaga CS.

hello batchmate sis @Tequilaxxii! sana umikot babies natin para di tayo mahirapan. di naman siguro lahi yun no. kasi kami ng 2 brothers ko, all suhi or breech as in una paa tapos CS mama ko lagi.

si baby ko naman nasa may puson yung galaw niya lagi. pareho tayo ng ginagawa. kinakausap si baby lagi na umikot. tapos although di regular, nagpapatugtog din kami sa may ilalim ko para sundan niya daw tapos flinaflashlight-an siya ng hubby ko. may pregnancy exercise din na tinuro to do on the 32nd week, pag breech pa din siya nagsettle, CS na. hehe.

Hi batchmate @dpmallo19  Hinde ko sure if nasa lahi nga yun, baka malikot lang talaga babies natin. Nawi-weirdohan na nga ako sa tiyan ko kasi ang laki na pero since suhi, un sipa nya lagi nasa puson lang

sis @dpmallo19 sadly naCS ako nung first dahil breech pa siya hanggang 37th week niya.. Yung last ultrasound ko naman nung 21st cephalic pa siya pero sa mga nababasa ko usually ngtuturn na ang babies by 30-33rd weeks na..Pero try niyo yung sinasuggest sa gentle birth ph na yung spinning babies para sa mga exercise at pose para umikot si baby. I'll try that ngayon in case maging breech uli si 2nd baby..

When, in pregnancy, is breech an issue and when is it fine?

In time, the breech Baby?s head becomes heavy enough, between 5-7 months, for gravity to bring the head down in a symmetrical womb. The baby will move head down if there is room or if there is tone in the support to the uterus to direct baby head down.

Before 24-26 weeks most babies lie diagonal or sideways in the Transverse Lie position.
Between 24-29 weeks most babies turn vertical and some will be breech.
By 30-32 weeks most babies flip head down and bottom up.
By 34 weeks pregnant, the provider expects baby to be head down.
Between 36-37 weeks, a provider may suggest a external cephalic version.
About 3-4% of full term babies are breech; term is from 37-42 weeks gestation.

Hi mga Sis,

27 weeks na ako. First baby namin ni hubby. 😊

4 years din kami nag tiis ni hubby na di muna magkababy and Thank God nung nag start na kami magtry, 2 months palang nakabuo narin.

Ask ko lang mga sis na musta naman yung laki ng tyan nyo nung 27 weeks kayo? Sakin kasi medyo maliit pero nung nag paultrasound naman kami ok naman yung size ni baby. Ahead nga ng 1 week. Dami nag sasabi ng maliit yung tyan ko sa 6 months. Jinojoke ko na lang sila na 14 kasi balakang ko dati. 😂😂😂

Congrats sis!

Mukhang malaki na yung tiyan ko at 27 weeks pero hinde pa din sila pantay ng puson ko    I'm plus sized before I got pregnant so when I thought hinde na lalaki pa tiyan ko, mali pala ako lol.

My baby is still in transverse kasi ramdam ko pa din yun sipa niya nasa kanan pa din.
