Anyway, my ent doctor told me I have lump sa throat, parang goiter daw I dont know kung ilan months or taon na to pero he suggests na i needle biopsy daw I dont know kung ano yun and as much as possible daw ayaw niya magopera kasi medyo maliit pa. Suggestions naman po kung susundin ko yung needle biopsy or papa tanggal/opera ko na lang. Gusto ko lang matapos na tong pagaalala ko

Hi. I had lymph nodes sa neck before, hindi siya goiter, parang kulani na malaki at matigas. Sad to say hindi siya na kuha sa mga antibiotics kaya kailangan maoperahan. Before ako mag pa-opera, they suggest din na kailangan muna ibiopsy to check kung cancerous ba or hindi. Thanks God at hindi naman.

Hindi sis, pinapili niya ko kung gamot or needle biospy. Kasi ayaw daw niya operahan as much as possible Pinili ko muna gamot so far hindi pa lumiliit hay. I dont know pa kung ano yung needle biospy

hi sis, yung needle biopsy kukuhan ka nila ng sample dun sa may bukol tapos papadala nila sa laboratory para i-check. Kukuha lang sila na konting sample, dont worry mabilis lang yun. Tapos wait mo na lang yun result.

Ok sis thank you nga pala hehe may anesthesia yun diba.. masakit ba sis?? Hehe

hindi siya masakit, mabilis lang yun. tusukan ka lang ng syringe wala pang 1 minute tapos na 

obserbahan mo na lang muna yun lump kung makukuha sa gamot. kung walang pagbabago, then follow mo na lang yun sinabi ni dok, yun needle biopsy.

buhayin ko lang thread na to. until now hindi pa natatanggal yung lump caused by hypothyrodism. wag daw ako magalala sabi ni doc parang okay lang na andyan pero gusto ko pa din patanggal. hindi siya nalaki. ganun pa din. baka patanggal ko na next year. may same case ba ng sakin? pinatanggal  niyo ba? thanks

Was an ultrasound of the thyroid done already?
Thyroid function test?
Need to assess those first to check if biopsy or even surgery is indicated.

Hi doc she,

Age:30s single

1. Thyroid ultrasound was done.
*goiter, complex mass-tr4, not cyst, left side only
* around 4 cm

2. Normal thyroid function test via blood extraction

Any insights? Surgery? Fnab? Partial or total thyroidectomy.
