^Start checking ng katapusan ng Jan and Feb sis. Or if you want punta ka sa mga travel agency normally may sked sila na mas maaga compared sa online mas mataas lang ng konti ang bayad.

@ sis hushhush, anong PSA doc you refer to?
If renewal kasi wala naman ibang need but old passport and to be sure, an ID, unless change name (need ng PSA Marriage Contract and I think yes dapat bago)

^I think she?s referring sa birth certificate. Yung NSO kasi PSA na siya ngayon.

^I think nagbe-base sa kulay ng papel. Iba ang kulay ng paper ng birth cert ko na issued nung 2016 and 2017.

^ooooh!! Oo nga no.. Pansin ko din iba yung kulay ng PSA paper ng sa bunso ko. Saka pah pinapaphotocopy e mayrong paekis-ekis sa buong page eg..Sya kasi yun last kong kinuhanan..Naku makapagrequest na ng bago hehe.di pala ako makakaligtas.. Tnx sis! Anghaba pa naman pila sa SM kanina kaya kumuha lang ako ng form hehe

^True sis. Alam nila agad kung luma or bago. Ako nag-order lang online mabilis lang, I think 2-3 days lang na-received ko na. 350 pesos ata binayad ko. Same lang din kasi magagastos ko if personal ko pupuntahan.

order ka na lang online sis if 1 to 2 copies lang naman need mo.
Ako nagpunta ako sa NSO main sa Sta Mesa kasi total of 6 yung kinuha ko, sayang naman kung i-online eh doble price.
Not bad naman sa NSO main, 1 hour lang inabot ko dun.

^Yung PSA birth certificates dapat kinuha siya within a year di ba? nagrequest ako online a few months ago. lahat ng birth certificates namin and marriage contract namin ni hubby even if hawak namin yung galing sa LCR/city hall.

yung kaibigan ng friend ko sa pampanga na daw nagbiyahe to renew the passport kasi walang makuhang slots sa manila. need na asap.

Has anybody tried accompanying their senior citizen parents sa passport renewal & nakapag renew ng passport even without an appointment?  Napupuyat na ako kaka-abang ng slot

FINALLLY naayos na nila ang appointment system!  I was able to ge t a booking for Megamall next week January 18.

My 12-year old and I need to renew our passports and will also be applying one for my 1-year old bunso.

Few questions mga sis:

1. Got my bunso's birth cert last October 2017. Pwedeng ito na yung ipasa diba?
2. For my panganay's passport renewal, I still need to present PSA birth cert, right? It says kasi on the DFA website, for renewal daw ng minors, application for first time minors daw is still prescribed in addition sa old passport niya.
3. I guess it goes without saying na for marriage cert, kailangan PSA na rin ang isubmit ko?

Planning to walk-in sa DFA Rob Novaliches next week.

mayron na kaya nakapagpapassport ngayon January?? effective na kaya yun 10yr validity ng passport?? balak ko din kasi magrenew ng passport.. kasama ko father ko senior sabay kami magrenew dahil hirap kumuha ng slot.. pero kapag may kasama senior pwede daw makasabay.. ganun ginawa ng friend ko saka mama nya senior last year lang.. concern ko lang talaga kung totoong 10yr validity na sya

Sisses, anong pinakamabilis na gov't issued ID ang puwede kunin? The premium postal ID is not a primary ID na daw after mag-update ng DFA ng list of requirements. According to Philpost, they're following up with DFA. Hindi pa nagrerelease ng voter's ID due to talks about having a national ID. Unfortunately, I don't know how to drive and malabo talaga eyes ko.  SSS or UMID takes 3-5 weeks processing/delivery right? Sa March pa appointment namin. I already requested for a new transcript of records from my college and I also have my old school and company IDs. Ayoko lang magkaaberya pagdating sa DFA.

Sis, Alumni ID meron ka? Kuha ka nadin ng UMID sobrang useful nun wala pang expiration date baka umabot naman sa appointment mo.

Finally, I was able to schedule an appointment for passport renewal this saturday sa DFA North Robinsons Novaliches. Akala ko maghihintay pa ako until April para makapagsched e.
