Be a good listener.

Take care of yourself.

Don't put up with nonsense and keep your self-respect intact.

Just hang on through fights because it happens and reconciliations are sweet and refreshing.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder- don't be too available!

Pray, pray, pray. :) :)

^^about too much available depende sa lalaki. Lalo na kung partners in crime kayo or magkabuddy or magbestfriend.

Pag sa manliligaw, boyfriend/girlfriend pa lang, for me, applicable yang not being too available.

But i believe once a couple is already married, iba na. You have to be always there for your husband/wife. At the same time, he /she should have confidence on his/her wife/husband being dependable, maaasahan & to be ALWAYS there for him/her. So you have to be always available, if possible.

Lol! Spice and thrills in marriage can be added in other ways naman.

But of course that's just my pov. ;)

i think applicable pa din sa mag asawa yung not too available. pero hindi yung pabebe na pagpapakipot haha! yung tipong postpone pero he has to look forward sa reward.
parang you have to make him feel na pag wala ka, hindi siya makakapag function sa bahay kasi naka depende siya sayo. not in terms of money ha.

^^tama ganyan pov ko. Kilala natin mga husband natin kung madaling maboring or what. Open communication effect talaga to.

Clingy kami tipong pag may sariling lakad eh wish you were here agad ang nararamdaman kaya kadalasan magkasama talaga kami.

I think hindi naman necessary na "absence" as in hindi kayo magkasama. I think it's more of having a life outside of the marriage? Yun bang may iba kang pagkakaabalahan or iisipin -- hobby, or friends, or kung anuman. I mean of course you should focus on your husband and your family, and you should always be there for him. It's more of parang having something you're passionate about. Usually kasi when you become a wife and mom kinakalimutan mo na yung mga personal aspirations mo. I think yun yung dapat hindi mawala.

As for improving married life, you should always remember your vows and live by it. Legal (and spiritual) vows yun so hindi mo lang yun basta sinabi nung kinasal ka. Kelangan tutuparin mo araw araw.
