When did you have period after giving birth?

Hi mga sis, just wanted to ask you when did you have your period after giving birth? 5 months na si baby, wala pa din akong period. My OB said nothing to worry kasi I'm breastfeeding pero mix feeding ako hindi exclusively BF.  Pero baka mag pa second opinion ako kasi I'm a bit worried. I'm 101% sure na hindi ako butins ulit haha.

Hi sis. Tama si OB as long as you are breastfeeding (even mixed feeding) very variable ang pagbalik ng menses.

Sometimes, up to one year walang mens. Sometimes, after three minths meron na. Just to make sure, kasi you dont know when you're ovulating nd baka masundan agad si baby, ask your OB about contraceptions safe with breastfeeding. Or if hindi ka naman worried about having another baby, aantayin lang talaga natin ang mens or ang PT positive! Yey!

Push mo lang sis ang breastfeeding. 🤗🤗

Subscribing to this thread. Exclusively breastfeeding my 12 week old and concerned din ako kung kelan babalik ang period ko. Also, i have very irregular cycle pre-pregnancy, di ko alam if may effect ba yun sa pagbalik ng cycle ko.

ako kasi 5 months na si baby wala pa din period, worried ako pero as I said sure akong hindi ako buntis kasi we use contraceptives and since madalas akong pagod, hindi pa ganun kadalas namin gawin yun ni hubby hehe (sorry TMI hehe)

sana mag reply na iba, yung sister ko kasi 1 month lang sya nag breastfeed tapos meron na sya nung 2nd month nya. My mom exclusively breastfed us for 7 months sabi nya after a month nagkaroon sya agad so iba iba talaga ata

oww! ganun. tagal! masaya na walang period pero nakaka praning haha . ako kasi hindi naman exclusive pero I still breastfeed him naman.

Almost 5 months of mixed feeding and will continue breastfeeding as long as I can, so I may still not get my period back anytime soon

we're exclusively breastfeeding (4mos na) but I had my period after one month. Around 6weeks post partum! Haha! Yes, sabi ng ob ko may ganun talaga kahit nagpapadede. Sabi niya mukhang mabubuntis daw ako neto ulit agad.  kaya medyo distansya muna lol

^woe sis regular na ulit period mo? What contraceptive did your OB suggest?

3 months pp and ebf here, no period yet. Pero i need to ask my OB kung anong applicable na contraceptive for us

^^yes sis simang. Regular na siya ulit lol! Though napansin ko mas malakas yung flow ng period ko ngayon kesa nung hindi pa ko nanganagak. Hehe
Hindi na ko bumalik sa OB ko for family planning kasi ang layo ng doctor ko kaya balik kami sa dating gawi, withdrawal. Hahaha... or co-sleeping... effective pag gusto mo mag-pass sa kalabit ni hubby! Hahaha!

ako. I finally got my period 6 month after giving birth, medyo sakto yung date. hehe on the 12th of nanganak, 11th ako nagkaron hehe

Ako 1yr 8mos before bumalik period. And i even took meds para lang magkaron. We wanted to try for the next baby na kasi kaya no choice. BF si baby so malamang yun ang reason kaya super tagal. She doesnt drink from the bottle, as in direct latch kame kaya siguro ang lakas padin ng milk ko and d bumalik period.

Thanks. Although the abrupt weaning is taking its toll on my sleeping. Its almost 4am and wifey is sleeping soundly while im trying to bottle feed baby boy. 😭😭

Same here, wala pa rin period pero less than 3 months lang kami nag mixed feeding. Hindi pa ako nakabalik sa OB ko kasi di na maka absent sa work.

Mommies sino sa inyo naka experience na nagkaperiod tapos hindi pa naging regular? I had my period kasi last december (7 months postpartum) tapos until now wala pa ulit.
