Seoul trip will be on April 26-30. Planning this itinerary:

Nami island + Petit France
Everland
Namsan Hanok Village
Myeongdong Cathedral
Geongbokgung Palace
N Seoul tower

Any recommendations for affordable hotels that is accessible to our iti?

Where should we go for anim? and manga stuff?

I'll be raveling with my mom (a senior citizen) and a teenager. Thanks!

^^sis you can buy at any convenience store: 7-11, GS25, CVS for U, etc. Parang beep card din sa atin yan. Ang mabibili mo is yung card pa lang. 2000Won ang cheapest and for Line friends na design umaabot sa 4000won, (like mine. di bale bibe naman yun, cute haha). tapos mag-lo-load ka sa mga train station, like how we do ours din. May english option naman ang mga machine so no need to worry. Mag-load kayo ng 10,000 won initially. That's 500pesos. Safe na yan, i think haha. Pero if you think kulang pwedeng 20,000won naman. Friends ko 50k yata ni-load. adik lang.

If 4 days in Seoul, ano ang dapat puntahan na relax lang (no temples and nature).  My sister and I will be bringing her daughters with us (2 and 7 years old).

Sis Cari, kung gusto mo itry yung Samgyetang nila, pwede kayo kumain dun sa Tosokchon Samgyetang. Medyo pila nga lang doon, kaya punta kayo either before or afterlunch. pero kami afterlunch na kami nagpunta, pumila padin kami. Pero mabilis lang naman yung pila kaya keri na. Tapos sabi nila, mas mura daw mga streetfoods sa hongdae compare sa myeongdong... so kung mag hohongdae kayo, check nyo dun yung mga streetfoods. Sa namdaemun madami din streetfoods, sa myeongdong din, kaso parang pricey din si myeongdong streetfood, pero madaming choices. Madaming resto din sa myeongdong na nag ooffer ng 5500kwn na bibimbap.. yun ata pinaka murang nakita ko,, then yung iba nasa 6500kwn ang bibimbap nila. Kung fried foods naman, try mo yung Two Two Fried Chicken, sa may side yun ng Pacific Hotel sa Myeongdong, walk ka lang sa left side nun, makikita mo na yun. Meron din kami kinainan na buffet sa may Ssangmun station, doon lang sya malapit, Chakhan Pig ata name? haha! basta pag lunch nasa 9000kwn lang sya, pag dinner naman 12500kwn ata. Sulit din yun. Babalikan ko nga yun sa April. haha!

Regarding sa TMoney, alam ko available nadin yun sa Airport eh... Kami dati nasa 5days din kami, sakto na yung 25000kwn. Sa convenience store pwede ka din mag paload nun. Di ko lang sure kung pwede din sya sa limousine bus yun Tmoney. kami kasi laging direkta na kami sa driver nag babayad ng 15000kwn kasi gabi lagi trip namin, sarado na ata ticket booth nun pag 10pm onwards.

@ataypool amusement parks? mostly nature pag korea e... hehe. NSeoul Tower? Museums like Trick Eye or Alive? Food trip sa Hongdae?

Hi sisses. Just would like to ask your suggestion, would it be better if i apply first visa before booking a flight or book a flight first then visa? Medyo hesitant kasi ako although ma po-provide ko naman lahat ng requirements. And my plan trip will be Nov 29- Dec 3 . Kelan kaya [textspeak!] safe na magsubmit ako ng requirement for visa?

^depende yan sis sa risk appetite mo. At first ayoko na sanang mauna bumili ng ticket kasi ilan beses na akong nakakapagforfeit ng ticket pero yun trip namin this April bumili na kami nung magkasale kasi holy week yun travel period namin. If you are willing to take the risk na magforfeit ng ticket then pwede ka na buy pag may promo.

^^I think ideal na ang 1 month before date of travel. Validity of visa is 3 months from issue date naman. So 3rd week of October will be ok. Regarding ticket, lakasan na lang ng loob. We also bought promo RT tickets 8months before date of travel. Imagine the anticipation and excitement hahaha!

Hello we are completing the application form for our family.  We gathered up documents for my parents:

1. Passport
2. Passport size picture
3. Bank Statement
4. Copy of Birth Certificate (since we are applying as a family)
5. Copy of Marriage Certificate
6. BDO Platinum Mastercard credit card statement (from my mom)
7. Copy of Senior Citizen ID (They're both retired Senior Citizens)

And dun sa may travel history section sa may application, kailangan ba talaga kumpleto? kasi 5 rows lang ang nasa application form eh from the past 5 years 7 countries na napuntahan ng mother ko (incl. USA) pwede ba ilagay na lang sa ilalim yung 2? Tsaka umeployed ako. kailangan ba mag submit ng affidavit of support from parents para sa akin?

May US visa kaming lahat tsaka nakapunta kami noong 2012 at 2013 lang.

^^yep sis. Be positive na lang tayo hehe.. sa March pa kami apply visa. Sa Jeju air kami kumuhang ticket. Meron sila fares na refundable subject to cancellation fee of 30usd per way.

Sis shams, you're welcome. Part of travelling. Hahaha! Just prepare your docs na lang and make sure na mas malaki ang bank statement kesa estimated cost of travel. Wag muna withdraw ng malaking amount hangga't di pa na-claim ang visa. And yes stay positive. Ahehe!
