Just exchange you usd sa korean banks dun sis instead of using the atm. Just present your passport to the bank. Competitive naman rates nila. Pwera nalang kung weekend ka dadating dun at closed ang bank.

question regarding sa passport. may old passport kasi ako yung green pa pero never ko naman nagamit so walang tatak ng kahit anog.. Kelangan pa din bang ibigay yun sa Korean Embassy or kahit yung bago na lang?

Dun ba sa mga fields na wala naman akong isasagot like sa marriage details, other passport details, details of sponsor. Kelangan ko pa ba lagyan ng "N/A" or should leave it blank?

For Funding Details, 10.1 Estimated travel cost.. magkano nilalagay nyo dito? wala pa kasi akong plan magpunta ng SK this year, next year pa gusto ko lang avail yung sa bpi. And sa 10.2 eh since self support naman yung travel, name ko pa din details ko pa din ilalagay ko, tama ba? anong ilalagay sa Relationship to you? haha tsaka sa Type of Support.

^^sis ma_angelica.. I am speaking as a first time visa applicant, applied sept. 30, 2016, visa granted oct 6, 2016, so you don't need to worry kasi kinabahan din ako. Fresh na fresh pa haha! If you're worrying about your finances like what I've said wala namang required balance pero you have to prove na kaya mo i-fund travel mo. One thing to prove na kaya mo mag-travel is isa kang regular employee. Yung akin, family helped in funding my account pero ibabalik ko rin sa kanila yun. Magastos rin kasi ako. You just have to comply all the requirements and you have to trust na ipapasa ka ng sinubmit mo.


^sis missreese sa Funding pangalan ko ang nilagay ko and relationship: Myself ang nilagay ko, haha.. sa ibang sis kaya? Tapos since 9days kami dun ang est. expense namin is $1,000.00, CASH. I did not put N/A sa field na wala akong sagot, sa pagkakatanda ko.

Tapos sis, 90days lang valid ang visa. Hindi ba masyadong maaga aplpication mo?

Lastly, sa COE ba kasi yung date sa COE ko nung October 8 pa pero baka next next week pa ko makapunta ng Embassy. Di ba sila mahigpit pagdating sa date ng COE? Tsaka kelangan pa ba ng dry seal yung COE? Kasi thru portal lang yung request namen, so galing lang din sa site yung pagkukunan ko ng COE ko. May signature ng HR pero syempre computerized na din yun.

^sis are you targeting multiple entry? Kasi alam ko 90days valid lang ang visa if single entry and 59days max stay.

I stayed in First Guesthouse in Heaundae (one of the nicest guesthouses Ive stayed!)
But tbh I prefer to stay in Nampodong area.

This will be my second time but my first itinerary when i went was:
Day 1: Yonggungsa Temple, Heaundae Beach, Apec House, Gwangalli Beach
Day 2: Gamcheon Cultural Village, Jagalchi Fish Market, Busan Tower, Nampo area for shopping

Kakapagod the Gamcheon Cultural Village ha. But I will be with my friends who havent been there so balik na naman. For me, refreshing yung Yonggungsa Temple if coming from Seoul. Mas na appreciate ko siya compared sa palaces but that's just me.

@missreese 2017 pa? Are you applying using BDO/BPI credit card for multiple entries? Kasi if not, you have to apply 3 months prior your flight.

sis missreese if you're planning to avail the bpi promo (which I did), just put there like as if you're planning to go this november or december. para lang low ang chance na madeny. the estimated cost usually nga 600-700usd nilalagay ko din tapos sa hotel no need to book naman, just search sa agoda and check the address and contact number na "possible" mong pag stayan if ever..

Yes sis, BPI promo.. If earlier yung ilalagay ko kunwari December 2016, ayos lang na walang TICKET pa? Basta pabook na lang muna ako ng hotel?

^ay oo nga sis nabanggit mo nga pala ang BPI promo. Nangibabaw sa akin ang application lang. hahaha actually nabasa ko sa website na mas ok na wala ka pang ticket when you apply for korean visa kasi nga hindi naman sure ang approval ng visa. ayun. Good luck sis!

Submitted my docs yesterday already. Sa tuesday daw makukuha (3 working days). Hopefully approved. Fingers crossed. :-)

Hmmm...2D days and 1 night lang? Ummm...Go to Haeundae Beach, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple,
Nampo-Dong Flea Market then just each korean barbecue and dine like the koreans do along
Gwangbok-Ro.  =)

We are looking for a place kasi na near sa mga restaurants and yung mga tiangge. pero yung mejo mura lang.

^^tbh i prefer hongdae than myeongdong kasi the area where guesthouses are not inclined. According to research cheaper din streetfood in hongdae area.

^meals go about 5k up (mga kinakain ko 6-12k). Streetfood 1k yung usual fish cake, 2k-3k for other streetfood , not unless special like snails/lobsters etc
