Keratin / Brazilian Blow Out (Thread 2)

May keratin / brazilian ba sa David's? I have tried this 2 years ago yata, sa Artista Salon. Maganda naman lumambot hair ko pero di sya super straight katulad ng rebond, which for me is okay since gusto ko may body and volume yung hair ko. Mejo wavy pa nga yung ends kasi galing ako sa permed hair that time. Super sakit sa mata at  ilong nito. Until nabasa ko nga dito na hindi daw safe yung chemicals na ginagamit dito.

Meron bang salon na safe yung gamit nila for Keratin/Brazilian? Baka some of you know. Syempre lahat naman sila icclaim na safe products nila diba, hehe.

^For sure meron na ding Brazilian/Keratin Treatment sa David's. One of the big salons yan eh. Not sure lang what are the products they use.

Sa thread 1 a sis mentioned na may mga product na di masakit sa ulo and sa ilong. I think this is because of the formaldhyde. Yung iba nga amoy chocolate daw and no sting at all. Not sure lang anong brand yung mga yun. Madami na kasi naglabasan ngayon sa market. One of the best na nababasa ko is iCure. Dami nga lang din fake sellers nito.

Balitaan mo kami sis sa hunting mo ng best salon and best product na para sayo.

Hanap hanap pa ng salon na okay for Brazilian/Keratin. Feel free to suggest mga sissy

first time ko kahapon pa Keratin/Brazilian. Home service lang nirefer ng MIL ko. I was about to go T&J na malapit sa bahay for a regular treatment lang but my MIL insist dun sa hairstylist nila sa local neighborhood salon, years na din kasi gumagawa sa kanya yun tska sa mga friends niya. sinubukan ko na. Kerating/Brazilian treatment ang inoffer niya instead ng regular treatment lang. Plus nagpacolor na din ako. Ok naman ang result pero 2 days pa before ko iwash sana maganda, magiging suki niya din ako 
sinet din expectations ko na hinde rebond-straight & mga 2 months lang ang effect, pwede naman daw gawin every 2 months.
May usok but the smell is ok, 3rd gen na daw kasi yung gamot hinde na siya yung gaya ng unang labas  although masakit daw talaga sa ilong. Suko daw mgalungs nila sa salon.

Finally natry ko na rin ang sikat and original na brazilian blowout.

Sa freshaire ko pinagawa. They charged my above shoulder length hair 4100 pesos. Pricey, yes.  Pero unbearable na kasi yung frizz ng hair ko. Parang ang untidy tignan para sa nag oopisina.

I must say after ng treatment na ang laking pagbabago ng itsura ko dahil lang sa hair. Ang lambot, bagsak pero hindi pinstraight, may volume.

I did not buy yung bb shampoo kasi mahal bibili na lang ako ng icure na shampoo at cond.

For the process:
1. Shampooed my hair 4times
2. Applied the treatment to my hai
3. Blow dried. Ironed.
4. Let my hair cool down for a bit
5. Washed my hair
5. Applied the bb serum
6. Blow dried then sprayed the bb argan oil thingy

Ang gusto konpa dito no down time so hooray! Hindi ko pa nasshampoohan mula nung treatment. Puro conditioner muna while waiting for my icure shampoo and cond.

Will update you from time to time para sa mga curious.

Update sa brazilian blowout ko.

August 18 - shiny pa rin hair ko. Hindi na ganun kastraight unti unti na bumabalik sa dating state nung hair ko then may konti ng tangles. Then parang yung hairfall ko dito ang tindi. Sayang kakapa bee choo ko lang then ganito na ulit. Parang mas ok pa yung mga icure na keratin treatment medyo matagal effect tas same lang naman sila na may sting sa eyes at nose eh.

I'm using icure shampoo and conditioner as maintenance.

So tingin ko last na to for BB.

Had brazilian blowout last May and after two months its money down the drain lol literally sayang lang money talaga I got it at Red Salon. So last    week I just decided to have my hair rebonded sa Bangs T&J and oh my I love it mejo nasa flat pa sa crown phase siya which is ok but the softness and silkiness I love it and missed it pinahinga ko kase hair ko sa rebond after a bad experience in another  salon.

Tried this last year at Hairshaft Salon. I asked pa for Fred Penales to do my hair.

I've read about them being pushy and overrated but I still went through with the procedure.

Ayun, 9k+ ang sinayang ko haha.

After 2 weeks ata balik na sa normal hair ko. Actually after 2 days lang (right after ko mag shampoo, partida sulfate free pa), bumalik na sa dati yung hair ko - with less frizz lang. After 2 weeks or so, ayun, wala na. hehe

Siguro this would work for those with fine/thin straight hair with minimal frizz. Pero kung makapal ang buhok mo, give this a miss. Sayang ang pera.

Or baka Hairshaft lang ang palpak, baka sa ibang salon ok naman. :p

Tingin ko sis maganda tong BB sa mga taong medyo Ok naman na talaga hair. Pero kung tulad kong frizzy gallore ang buhok ay sayang pera. Pero happy na rin akong natry ko kasi tagal ko nang dream matry ang orig BB at ang masasabi ko na lang talaga ay last na ito.

Though may mga oras na parang ang ganda ng hair ko kasi medyo nawala yung buhaghag may mga panahon din na ang gulo na nya ulit. Depende rin sa weather. Pero first and last ko na to.

I had mine done at Feria Salon using the voucher from Cash Cash Pinoy. Paid 1,950 for shoulder length hair. I had this done about 2-3 weeks ago and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. It did what I wanted which was to reduce the frizz. My hair still has the natural wave and volume but no frizz at all!

My hair is very thick, dark, frizzy and with a natural wave. Each hair strand is extremely thick which makes styling hard as it easily gets weighed down by products. I have a hard time styling my hair and lately have been resulting to ponytails and buns on a daily basis.

I used to rebond my hair yearly but haven't done so in about 3 years because of the damage it did to my hair.

I bought Organix shampoo and conditioner as maintenance. I'm thinking of buying the Brazilian Blowout treatment to extend the life of the treatment.

I would do this again if I find another promo.

I had my hair done yesterday at Nook Salon in Shaw Blvd for Php3,000. Additional Php1,500 if with hair color According to them they used Authentic Acai Brazilian Blowout. So far okay naman. Still very shiny.

May I know any recommended shampoo for this treatment? I was told to use sulfate-free shampoo. Im having a hard time looking for one lang. I found Mondes Prosessional Argan Oil at Watsons. Nakalagay Sulfate-Free and Mineral-Free pero sa content nya, meron nakalagay na sulfate. HAy ang labo! Anyways hope you can help! Thanks!

sassy girl pag thin nga lang yung hair, wala naman na dapat need to have the bb kasi manageable lang naman.  But for 9000 sa hairshaft, that's a lot for 2 weeks worth of results

thanks sis! Looked for it kanina, but wala sila stock.. Opted to use Human Nature instead. No SLS/ALS daw and meant for chemically treated hair. Problem lang.. It doesnt lather right! No bubbles talaga hahaha

Pag nagpa brazilian ba, yung wave ng regrowth mawawala? Wanted to stop muna sana sa pagpaparebond and ibalik yung wavy hair ko, pero ang nagpapapanget kasi yung re-growth tapos biglang straight sa ilalim. Kung brazilian kaya at nawala yung effect ano na itsura ng re-growth?

^ wavy yung hair ko, so wavy yung regrowth pero maganda yung pagka tubo unlike pag rebonded. p before kasi rebond talaga ako pero nagbagong buhay na ko  lumipat na sa keratin. pag rebond kasi tumatagal nga sya pero pag nag grow na hair ko, ang pangit na kasi super straight sya tapos wavy yung regrowth, then mas mahal pa. pag keratin at least every 6 months ako nagpapa keratin dahil sa regrowth
