WEDDING VEIL

Ladies!

I have a question. Kailangan ba na nakatakip yung veil sa face for Catholic wedding? Or pwede yung short at nakalagay lang sa hair without covering the face?

I often see the hair of the brides smashed with the veil kasi! Not really good

^ It's just the norm sis. But it doesn't mean na you can't wear a birdcage veil (small veil that covers your face / part of your face only), or a mantilla veil ( yung exposed yung face mo tapos yung veil eh laced scalloped edges all throughout sa sides ng face mo.   Some do not even wear a veil at all, flowers lang or may adornment lang.  It really depends sa bride. 

Ang alam ko lang basta ang importante eh dapat yung secondary veil eh pag pinatong sa iyo, matatakpan yung part ng face mo. Hindi lang basta na nakapatong sa ulo. Although I don't know the rationale for this. Kasi napansin ko ito. Nung kinasal ako ganun daw yung instruction ng commentator sa veil sponsor ko. Tapos yung friend ko naman.nung kinasal sya  nalaglag yung secondary veil nya a few minutes after ikabit ng sponsor.    Pinaulit sa MOH (kasi binalik nya) nung commentator, kasi nung binalik, sa ulo lang nakapatong. Sinabihan sya na dapat daw taklob yung part ng face.

nope sis you dont even have to wear a veil at all when yoh get married in church. you only need the nuptial veil/secondary veil for that part of that ceremony.

It's not required although sabi sa pre-cana namin if you're not a virgin, don't cover your face with your veil. Face should still be covered with secondary veil.
