CHINESE WEDDING part 2

Pero I remembered I attended a wedding of my 4th cousin (yes, ganun kalayo  ) Century din but it was very spacious, around 800+ guest sila. May malaking stage pa nga both sides kasi puro dancing ang program.

^this reception you went to-- was it in the ballroom of century or the seafoods resto? My fiance and I are choosing between the two eh. Which one is nicer and bigger? But definitely, if we end up sa ballroom, dapat food from century seafoods pa rin.

ang alam ko yung phase 2-3 ng century seafood is bigger, pero nicer i think yung ballroom. sorry lalong pang confuse..

I was able to attend both na. The seafood restaurant was bigger, my 4th cousin's wedding was hosted there and medyo big spaces I guess they got more ballrooms? pero the one I attended this year (also in seafood restaurant) was super sikip! Century ballroom (hotel) was also nice, better ambiance in my opinion pero smaller function room siya compared to the seafood resto. There is also an additional 10% service charge na.

^so, just to clarify... if we get the ballroom as the venue, but food is still catered by century seafoods, the only additional cost is the 10% service charge? whereas kung sa century seafoods resto na both venue and food, no such charge?

^Yes walang ganung charge. Another thing to consider, when you get the ballroom, the hotel will require you to give a deposit to them in case something is damaged during your event. You can get this back a few days after your event. And also they will not allow your suppliers to set up early. They won't let them in, even if they have the necessary permits. They will only give them 2 hours before the event to set things up. So if you will be having drapes which, according to some stylists, needs 5 hours preparation, it will be very difficult.

^meixin, okay naman si Max. Siya yun emcee nung wedding ng brother ko eh. And mabait din siya.
Kaso now, I am torn kung sino ba okay na emcee. Gusto kasi nila ibang level ng Chinese literacy eh.
Eh si Max naman, okay din naman, magaling din naman magChinese, pero baka yun gusto nila is, yun parang yun may accent na pang China. Si father kasi ni h2b gusto si Jerome Go. Kaso naghahanap pa rin kami ng other options, in case hindi siya available sa date namin. Michael Lim naman, sabi nila hindi daw tumutupad sa napagkasunduan. Like, for example, pinagusapan niyo na 5 songs kakantahin pero pagdating sa wedding day, nawawala daw yun iba. Help!

^sis, He did reply after a week of texts and missed calls. Said he was out of the country daw that time. Kulitin mo lang sis.. sa sun siya nagreply sakin.. when is your wedding?

mloveg, yes, we were able to schedule a meeting na but super sungit ko na sa last message ko, I couldn't help it anymore. Sympre gusto ko pulido na program ko so I can move on to other things na.  Jan ako sis. Ikaw?

Feb ako, actually hindi pa  kami nagmmeeting. Shucks, I feel you. Grabe noh, nakaka frustrate siya.. Maybe your coordinator could nag him nalang? Kaysa mastress ka sa kanya.. feel ko in a few weeks, maeexperience ko na rin yang naffeel mo sa kanya.. Bakit kaya ganyan siya noh?

Nako sis me too.. kaya lang wala na available na host on my wedding date and sayang 20k na down kay Willord. Kaya pala more than half ang down sa kanya para wala ka na kawala!    Advice ko sayo sis chill ka lang, don't let him ruin your wedding excitement. Kasi based sa personality ni Willord, he doesn't care that much kung matuwa clients nya or not eh.. In a way lumaki na ulo niya.. Ikaw lang ang sasama ang loob.. Balitaan mo ko ha..

Happy new year mga sis! 1 month to go nalang before my BIG day! Nervous but excited ako at the same time! Hehe how are you girls holding up? Dun sa mga 2017 brides..

Oo nga pala, update with my emcee, Willord. Met him before the holidays, ok naman siya but as usual he's late..hehe
