Thanks sis Chili1113.  😍😍😍 We really wanted IL Mondo. Super may meaning sa amin mag-asawa. My gown is just a tad simple hehe. But I really wanted something laidback.Now naisip ko baka it was too simple hehe. Oh well . ..  hehe.
Nung nasa labas ako ng church, narinig ko na yung instrumental ng Two Words, dun ko pa lang na realize na ikakasal na talaga ako (even if we've been married civilly already hehe), when I heard the few strains of Il Mondo, parang I froze on the spot. I could hear Anton (my bridal manager) yelling na I could walk na hehe. Hindi ko tuloy naayos yung gown ko sa front. Kaya inangat ko pa sya ng konti. Then saka ko lang binitawan hehe.

^sis i watched those clips from your IG during March. Nakakaiyak! Hahaha! Ee're planning palang to get strings, but not sure pa eh. Ang gusto kasi namin if kukuha kami, pure instrumental until reception. Hindi kaya boring? Ayaw kasi namin ng may vocals, aside from the songs na ipa-play ng sound supplier namin na mga happy songs, the rest gusto namin instrumentals lang.

^Hi sis ANJfinally, Hindi naman sya boring sis. Lalo na kung mala Vitamin String Quartet yung kukunin nyo na hindi lang solemn na instrumentals ang kaya.   Since may DJ din kayo, baka balance lang sya sis   Sa amin kasi, ang ni request ko sa Strings namin eh mix of instrumentals and songs with vocals. Actually yung iba namin guests hindi naman sila napansin. hehe. Sabi ng sister ko okay naman daw, magaling. Sabi din ng mga friends and ibang relatives. I guess depende rin sis sa mga tao.

Basta ang laging comment sa amin eh kahot daw short program lang kami. Masaya daw and busog sila. hehe.

^Talaga sis? Isip ko kasi baka ma bored yung mga guests. Pero feel na feel ko talaga kapag instrumentals lang lahat eh. Baka kasi may time na mag vocals, tapos di ko magustuhan ang rendition nila (lol - feeling singer) hahahaha!

Thank you sis! Watched your SDE, ang cute ng boses mo and sana kasing poised mo rin ako kapag naglalakad na sa aisle. hahahaha!

^ Ay sis, eto lang pala. Dapat wala kaming kukunin na singer. Kaso inadvice kasi kami ni Ayie na kailangan daw namin ng singer para may maglelead like  para sa Ama Namin. Yung mga normal na liturgical songs ba. Kaya since 3K lang yung idadagdag namin, we opted na lang na with singer.  Actually, sinabihan naman kami ng String Colours na pwedi naman daw na 3 instruments and 1 singer para quartet pa din. Gusto ko lang kasi talaga ng 4 instruments plus 1 singer. Come to think of it, alam mo, hindi ko na sila napansin kung quartet sila or quintet. Kasi parang lutang na ako nung araw na yun. Ang mantra ko for that day was "let it go". Kung may magsasabi sa akin na wala, nakalimutan, hindi naka attend. Ang sagot ko sa kanila, okay, keber. hehe. Good luck sis. Pag ganyan, baka pwedi mo na lang sabihan yung strings na kukunin mo na yung normal na mga liturgical songs lang ang patugtugin para maka follow yung mga guests nyo.

Naku sis ni-remind din kami nyan nung nag iinquire kami. Kapag pure instrumentals sa church either may isa kaming kilala na mag le-lead ng song para makasabay ang mga aattend ng mass. hehe! Salamat sis sa mga advice mo. Kaya nga ako kahit trio lang pwede na ako basta may something lang na tutugtog ng live. hehe =)

Hi girls. We're planning to get MPO pero wala kaming makitang sample wedding video nila sa youtube. Any one here na kinuha sila or kukunin palang for a wedding? Between MPO and Bernie Pasamba, sino mas prefer nyo? Salamat. God bless!

^My friend got MPO for their wedding about 1.5 years ago. Okay naman sila. Magaling.

I didn't get them though, I got String Colours Ensemble, masaya ako sa kanila kasi they played mix  of ala Vitamin String quartet na may mga modern instrumentals, and mga songs na may vocals,  plus I loved their rendition of Il Mondo nung wedding march ko hehe.

Hi mga sis, I backread the previous thread and this one to look for MPO rates since hindi ko makita sa ibang website. The last thing I read was 15k last 2012? Has anyone booked them more recently who are aware of the rates? Thanks in advanced

We booked MuzikQlass for string quartet. Dami ko pinanood na videos pero parang sila 'yung consistent na pinaka nagalingan kami na somehow okay ang rates at pinaka mahaba ang playing time. 'Yung ibang string ensembles mas mura, pero shorter din ang playing time.

Si Manila String Machine sana gusto namin but mahal, 'di na keri ng budget.

MPO's 2017 rates:

Quartet: PhP 19k (ceremony or reception only); PhP 22k (ceremony + reception)

Singer: PhP 7k each.

I want them to play mostly Claude Debussy and Chopin lang naman so hindi demanding sa instruments.
