Hello, will be flying to AU this Thursday, arriving on Friday - first stop is Melbourne. Do you have any recommendations for data sim?

^ was at Sydney last year. We purchased vodafone sim with 25gig of data for AUD20 at the airport. It served our purpose naman. More than enough na siya for our 8-day visit.

Hi, may naka try na AU/NZ cruise? Pickup & drop off Sydney. Im currently living here in AU on Bridging Visa A while waiting for my partner visa. Not sure if need ko pa kumuha visa for NZ for a 10 day cruise or Bridging Visa B since i will be outside AU. Ty

^ You can?t leave Australia with Bridging Visa A. Kahit na sister country nila ang NZ, they still consider it as leaving the country if you take any international flight. Better to apply for Bridging Visa B first.

When pwede mag-apply ng Australian Visa? Sabi mga 2-3 months before the trip, pero may nagsasabi na even 12 months before pwede na raw?

Ako kasi nag apply 1 month before my trip. Naapprove naman after 3 days lang (1 yr multiple entry).
Pwede siguro 1 year before your trip pero wala pa ko nababasang success story na ganyan hehe.
Pag nag apply ka lalagay mo yung expected date of arrival and return to Philippines diba- the case officer will check also if may budget ka for those days based on your itinerary. They will also check if you have a job etc so you have reason to go back to your home country. Ewan ko sis pero parang malabo nga na iaaprove ka nila 1 year prior. Pero try mo lang baka nga pwede.

Visitor Visa. Sa May 21 pa naman ang biyahe ko. Kakakuha ko lang kasi ng COE and Bank Cert/statement  (for other purpose) so naisip ko para isahang request na lang ng documents mag-aapply na sana ako. Pero yun nga, baka too early pa. =/

You can apply naman na now, but don't say you're planning to travel in May 2020 pa. They recommend applying within 3 months of your travel, because they regularly update their forms. Note that if your visa is granted, the validity of your visa is only for one year, so make sure that you will be able to travel within that period.

Ang tagal ng release ng visa ngayon, unlike previous years na days or up to 2 weeks lang ang waiting, both online or vfs, i suggest agahan nyo application because marami na nagrant na matagal ang processing. Worst, some received their visas after their scheduled flight.

Yan nga rin madalas kong nare-receive na feedback. Mukhang madami na talaga ngayon ang nag apply for Australian visa, lalo na't may flights na ang Cebu Pac going there.

Yup, it can get quite chilly kapag gabi, or kapag cloudy and mahangin. Bring some warm clothes that you can layer over your lighter clothes in case you get cold. Iba iba rin kasi ang tolerance natin sa lamig.

hi sissies! im planning a family trip to au later this year. trying to decide if we should stay in sydney lang for the entire trip or if we can go to both sydney and melbourne within 10 days - considering we have two small children with us. im worried we'll get bored in sydney for 10 days or maybe too hassle naman to go to both cities within that time. what do you girls think? any advise is welcome

Went back home in Manila from AU around first wk of January, super init dun pero malamig naman sa late aftenoon & night.

@ bzbee: if you have the means , i suggest you can visit Sydney & Melbourne, dati nag travel kami Sydney-Melbourne-Gold Coast for 3-week trip, kasama ang nephew kong napaka kulit hehe, I think he was 5 at that time.
