Day 5 (April 18 - Thursday)
Grounds of Alexandria - kainan ito
Luna Park - sa hapon mas maganda pumunta dito kasi open na mga rides
Sydney Harbour Bridge
 - medyo relax itong day 5 nyo since Luna PArk lang ang main attraction nyo and maliit lang ito
Day 6 (April 19-Friday)
Bondi Beach (doing the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk; mas okay ba from Bondi magstart or the reverse?)
Darling Harbour - marami maganda puntahan dito at malaki siya , may magandang playground dito , magandang mag walk, maraming resto at shops, then pwede nyo rin lakarin form there ang maritime museum na may malaking ship sa kabilang side naman andiyan ang Sydney zoo and aquarium, pwede naman picture picture lang , maganda rin magpicture sa may bridge na maraming flags, may CHinese garden din pero may entrance fee, ICC ok din
Day 6 nyo maraming lakarin naman

^mukhang mas malaki pa sis yung budget ko dapat  for food kesa sa airfare namin... haha

By the way, eto na yung final itinerary namin. Pacheck naman po if doable sya. Relaxed pace lang gusto namin as we are the types who want to linger and take our time. Okay ba yung pagkaka-group ko ng mga places? Need your inputs, please.

Mahabang lakaran ba yung Day 6 namin?  From Bondi sana kasi diretso kami sa SEA Life. Baka we'll shorten na lang yung coastal walk (Bondi to Bronte na lang if ever) para di mapagod then we'll proceed na to SEA Life after, If may energy pa, we'll check out the places in Darling Harbour that you mentioned.

By the way po, would you know saan may money exchange near Central? Baka lang kasi kulangin dala kong money. I have USDs with me aside from AUDs so I can exchange them when in Sydney na. Not sure if kakasya na AUD 2300 namin for 6 days (7th day will be flight out of Sydney so di ko na sya counted).

^^ sissy wala ako alam na money changer, pero for sure marami sa city since maraming tourist and foreign student  diyan. Don't forget to bring umbrella kasi naguulan na rin lately Pricey din pala ang bottled water kapag bibili sa labas nasa $3 600 ml lang, either bili kayo ng bulk sa supermarket $9-$12 24 pcs (coles/woolies), or refill sa hotel.

If you're healthy anyway you can do the walk. The weather's getting cooler too. Sydney's cold weather is on the drier side, you will feel the cold and not get sweaty while walking. I was in Tokyo 2 weeks ago, it was cold but I was still sweating a lot.

Chinatown side of Darling Harbour (or should I say the UTS/Paddys Market side) has Steam Mill Lane. There are affordable restaurants and cafes on that side. I'm not sure if Banh' Mi (Vietnamese Pork Roll) is known in Manila but you can try Marrickville Pork Roll. One of the best in Sydney, considering Australia is considered as one of the best when it comes to Vietnamese and Thai food outside of their countries. Popular restaurants and cafes opened their branches sa Steam Mill Lane like Belles, Gyradikos, etc. You can just research if you can. Also the upper floor of Market City food court has nice restaurants too and sa 2nd floor is the food court. For money exchange, I go to KVB Kunlun (Town Hall location) and We Exchange (Chinatown branches) if I travel out of Australia. Mas malaki ang exchange rates nila compared to banks and currency exchange places like Travelex but the wait is too long with KVB Kunlun but their rates are higher.

^^Sis @althea_ge: thanks! Noted on bringing umbrella and buying water from supermarket. Will be bringing din water bottles so we can just refill at the hotel. Excited na kami sis! Leaving Saturday next week na. Hopefully the weather cooperates at sana ay smooth ang flight and no delays para di masira ang aming itinerary... Thanks again.

^^ hi, sis @ataypool!  I have been checking Accuweather and Australia's Bureau of Meteorology for weather updates these last 2 weeks! So happy to note na weather is getting cooler, at least masarapa mag lakad lakad ng hindi pinapawisan... fave namin ang cold weather Temp is said to be at 14 - 22 deg C as per my last check. Hopefully no rains. We'll be bringing umbrellas to be sure. But light jackets and coats lang no? It's autumn na in Sydney but I feel it is not as cold as the autumns in Japan and Korea. We will not bring thermals na or thick jackets. Worry ko na parang "overdressed" kami for the weather.

Will check out the dinning places you have mentioned. Though I have listed a few na rin.

^ no padded jackets or thick coats yet. I still wear a skirt with a light coat and a short sleeved top. Don?t worry about getting overdressed or underdressed, no one cares anyway about what you wear here. Umbrellas are a necessity. Mahal kasi if you buy on the spot, cheapest between $10-$12. Have a great time next week!

And may nakapag try na ba na no ITR but may COE, Pay slip and bank cert naman?

^^ thanks, sis ataypool! We are truly excited for our first Oz trip. Almost everything is laid out na but the packing part is what really stresses me out. It?s hard to decide what type of clothes to bring as the weather seems to be erratic these past days. Haha...

^sis casablanca8, our family applied last January for our April trip. I asked around how early we can apply for visa and most of them say it is best to apply 2-3 months before your intended date of travel because you might be granted with single entry valid for 3 months only. Though we are lucky naman na multiple entry ang binigay sa amin ni hubby valid for 1 year while single entry valid for 6 moths sa 2 kids namin.

^^kung sa NSW lang sis medyo mainit. last month nasa wollongong & shoalhaven heads kami naka-shorts lang ako & flipflop lalo na pag malapit sa beach. cardigan lang or manipis na jacket pag gabi

^ magdala na lang din kami ng shorts, sis avitot and sis rocky! Mag Bondi kasi kami, kala ko di na kami makapag shorts at medyo lumalamig na nga. Pwede pa naman pala. Bawasan ko na yung jackets ko, sayang ang luggage space... haha

Sana lang tumigil na yung madalas na pag ulan...

^yes weather?s erratic. Kanina mainit, pag-uwi from work at night malamig hangin. Light layering clothes to be sure. Cebu Pacific ba kayo? I remembered last year flying back to Sydney na sobrang lamig maybe because the flight?s after midnight. Puro day flights nakukuha ko sa PAL, okay naman ang temperature nila.

^ Yes, sis! via Cebu Pac kami. Singapore Airlines dapat pero sibrang laki ng price diff and we are four travelling so very significant ang diff sa price talaga so I decided na Cebu Pac na lang. Hubby and the kids agreed naman. First time to travel with 5J on an 8-hour flight. Hoefully the flight will be uneventful. San no major delays whatsoever. Thanks for the heads up sis ataypool regarding the aircraft's cabin temp. We'll come prepared.

BTW, sa Sydney Airport Terminal 1 ba maraming bilihan ng food airside? Magbaon na lang siguro kami ng  food sa plane on our flight back to Manila.

^Yes sa airside ng Sydney International lots of food options. There's also a McDonalds and some retails shops and duty free shops sell drinks too so I buy my drinks from them before boarding. CebuPac food sucks. Bumibili ako sa airside or sa food court sa landside. Mas mahal ang presyo sa airside though. Coffee lang binibili ko sa CebuPac pag Sydney to Manila.
