How about 3 bottles (200ml each) of contact lens solution, 1VS 200ml of perfume, 3 bottles of cetaphil (250ml each) 100tablets of zinc and 120tablets of vit C.

Stock ko kase dito sa phil kaya dalhin ko nalang sana kaso worried ako sobrang dami nitong dala kong liquid, ok lang kaya ito? And more than 3 months dala ko suppliments 2x a day kase ako uminom vit c and zinc for me 1-2 months lang yun

Thank you sis, worried din ako sa declaration card nila. Sa question no. 9 "Are you bringing into Australia soil, items with soil attached or used in freshwater areas i.e. sports/recreational equipment, shoes?"

May dala kase ako 1 running shoes, 1 trekking sandal, 3 doll shoes, 1 slipper all washed and clean. Need ko pa ba i declare as "YES" dahil may dala ako footwear?

^If you aren't sure, declare "yes" but make sure they are very, very clean. Just make the customs officer life easier, mabilis ka papapuntahin sa Exit. Depends din kasi kung saang country ka galing, and not sure ako kung kasama Philippines sa list of countries they have to check for foot and mouth disease or the likes, or mga pests, basta anything that will endanger the ecosystem or cause the spread of disease.

^^I would initially answer NO since all footwear have been washed and cleaned. But after watching Australian Border Control on TV, the customs officers would always advise passengers when in doubt answer YES. Then just explain your answer to the customs officer when questioned. So it's better to declare than to be found out later and be fined.

no. 1 (because I'm bringing creams with steroid content for my allergy)
No. 7 (because im bringing paracetamol, vit c, zinc and iron as traditional medicines)
No. 9 for the shoes

Kahinahinala ba mga sis? Mukang bubukasan ba maleta ko because of my declarations?

And ok lang ba ilagay sa hand carry lahat ng shoes including stiletto heels?

^ not sure but always think bubuksan kasi you're not Caucasian and galing ka ng developing country. Sad to say but it happens. Huwag ka lang matakot pag tinatanong ka, kalma lang.

Di naman dahil galing developing country and non-Caucasian bubuksan. The last few times na umuwi ako, hindi nila binubuksan. Tinatanong lang kung anong food items or medicine ang dala mo.

May sniffer dogs sila pag di nila binuksan. Minsan nagdala ako ng daing, binuksan kasi sabi ng quarantine officer na curious lang daw sya anong itsura ng dried fish.

Usual na food items na dala ko pag papunta ng Sydney:
- dried fish like tuyo, danggit, dilis
- dried mango
- reno liver spread
- frozen peach mango pie
- frozen munchkins from dunkin donuts
- boy bawang and chocnut

For meds, I make sure I have prescription if it's not OTC. Otherwise, no problem.

The only time na na-refuse ako from bringing it in is Star margarine kasi it's considered dairy product. Pero naka lusot pa din kasi di nya nakita yung 2 other containers sa bottom ng bag ko.

Basta declare lang so kahit na di nila i-allow, you're in the clear.

Will be leaving PH tomorrow for my 1st entry via Melbourne bound. May dala akong used shoes mga sis, nilabhan ko naman kaso may mga black padin na ayaw matangal sa swelas. I expect na i oopen nila yun kaya i will declare nalang #9. may makikita silang like 5pcs of shoes. Questionable ba yung mga black dirt under the shoes, kahit i brush ko kase ayaw na matanggal.

Ang ok lang ba ilagay sa hand carry stiletto heels? Pati lahat ng medicines and suppliments? Para all liquid and clothes nalang sa check in bagged?

Black marks are ok. It's really just mud and soil that they check if you use it for trekking or if you've been walking around the farm with them.

High heels are ok in hand carry luggage. The airline should have a list of items you can't take.

Sorry sis ang dami ko tanong 1st time ko po kase. Ask ko din pag arrived sa Australia airport, my mga itatanong ba yung immigration? Like if tanungin ako "do you have any items/goods to declare?" Need ko pa ba sabihin yung personal shoes and liquid solution ng contact lens? Pati mga lotions, creams and eye liner pencil because it's made of wood? 

And may binigay saakin yung friend ko na gucci na scarf, tingin ko fake pero dinala ko na din kase nakakahiya sa friend ko. Will they penalized me for bringing fake item?

And im bringing 3pcs of eyeliner pencil, should i declare it when they ask me kase its made of wood and sharp object??? And 300ml of contact lens solution should i declare it paba???

No need to declare eyeliner dahil may wood component. Yung wood is for handicrafts like mga souvenirs, sculptures, banig, wooden bowls. Just to make sure walang bark, or animals inside. Pag treated na like in eyeliner, di na yun kailangan i-declare.

Fake items no need to declare. I think bawal lang fake items if you are planning to sell them.

What if naman sis, for example im bringing 'bank statement certificate' saying i have Php500k balance/deposit. Pero hindi ko naman dala atm, credit card and passbook. Need paba i declare yun? Thanks

If you're not bringing cash, money order travellers cheque, cheque that is over 10k no need to declare.

Diba yung bank cert just says that you have 500k in the bank? Di mo naman pede ipapalit yan into cash or ipambili sa Australia.

Anybody here applied for a transit visa?

We will be travelling to New Zealand kasi next month via PAL, lay over in Cairns. My husband is required to secure transit visa, hindi sya Philippines passport holder. He applied transit visa last week, and was granted the following day din naman agad. Ang problema, nakalagay sa last day of arrival sa Australia is June 19, balik namin from NZ is June 23, d na covered yung return flight namin. Whereas, I stated sa app form clearly yung date ng trip namin and attached the plane tickets pa. I sent an email sa Australian embassy re the problem. Ang reply sa akin is to contact the nearest DIBP office onshore. Parang ang gulo naman, so double applications pa? And it will be hard for us, since we will be joining a tour in NZ.

My parents are applying for tourist visa online from PH. Ang hassle lang pala ng online vs. before na you submit everything lang to VFS and wait for the result. Anyway, it's been a week since they submitted and they still haven't received any request for biometrics while I submitted same time as them and immediately got letter to schedule for biometrics. Ganun ba talaga katagal wait time pag sa Pinas ang application? Kasi they need biometrics to process your application di ba?

^I had a different experience applying online here in Manila. It was actually the easiest, least hassle-free visa application I ever experienced. I just scanned all my supporting docs (no request for biometrics) and got my visa after 10 working days. My first AU visa and they gave me 1 year multiple entries. This was back in 2014 though.

I'll be applying online for another one soon. I'll just update the thread once I have my visa na.
