HELP! My daughter just wants to stay in the water.

So my baby is sick. Brought her to the doctor a while ago. Was told she has tonsilopharyngitis but my question wasn't really answered so I just want to ask your opinion.

She seems to just want to take a bath or get sponge baths. Lagi na lang paulit-ulit as in mga every 30 mins take a bath daw. Or wipes meaning papunas ng basa. Bukod sa sayang tubig, napakaweird talaga lalo na't first time mom ako. Btw 2 years old na daughter ko.

Does she have fever that goes on and off? And is she feeling thirsty as well?

Yup may fever siya na on and off. Dun sa thirsty sya, siguro pero hirap na hirap sya uminom kasi nasusuka sya..

I'm not sure if the two are related, did you daughter ask for frequent baths before she was sick?

Could be she feels hot or icky, which is why she wants a bath.

When my kids are sick I pretty much put them in an A/C room the whole day.

Baka naiinitan lang. Mainit kasi ang panahon with humidity so malagkit din. Try putting her in an aircon room and see kung mag ask pa siya ng ganun. Maybe she finds bathing or wiping with something wet comforting since hindi nga siya mahilig mag drink ng water.

Opposite naman ito ng son ko. He hates bathing kasi ayaw niya mabasa yung mukha niya parang nalulunod daw siya. But he drinks water nakaka 3 liters or more siya in one day.
