Hello! I gave birth to a baby boy na last January 21. I had my check up at 38 weeks last Jan 20 and my blood pressure was high so the doctor decided to  schedule me for induction. I was admitted at January 20 and January 21, nanganak na ako. 19 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing. Susmaryosep. Haha. I am now waiting for my first poop and I am more scared. Haha.

Mommies, help naman ano bang baby wash ang gamit nyo or gagamitin nyo? sa dami kasi ng products nalilito na ko which one to buy and try aside shempre kung saan mahihiyang si baby. but for now, gusto ko muna sana magbuy kahit 1. tia!

Hello mga sis, i got confined for pre term labor last wed and still confined here at mmc to control it. Sa delivery room na ako pina direcho ng ob ko and my nst showed contractions every 3-4 mins. Parang labor contractions na daw buti my ie showed a closed cervix. Im 35 weeks na, on complete bedrest and praying wag mag continue ang contractions para abot kami ni baby ng 38 weeks.

^graceyrosh, grabe naman bakit naman cs agad sabi ni ob? Ako rin Im almost on my 39th week and sa check up with ob last week, engaged na si baby. Hindi pa ko dilated but very soft na raw ang cervix. So magprepare na raw kasi malapit lapit na. And after the first baby, usually mabilis daw magprogress ang labor.

To induce labor naturally according to birth classes, karirin na raw ang walking (better daw kung sa incline to help baby descend), climbing flights of stairs, doing full squats, nipple stimulation and contact with partner/hubby.

Nakakapressure pala talaga kapag malapit na ang due date. Mga tao sa bahay namin naiinip na at nagpupustahan pa sa exact date kung kailan lalabas si baby. Sa ngayon Im just feeling lower abdomen cramps and occasional braxton hicks.

I'm on my 37th week na, and OB already gave me evening primrose oil para sa cervix. For 2 weeks ko iinumin 3x a day pero 1 weeek lang binili ko, hoping si OB na within the week yung effect and of course kame rin ni hubby.

Nakaka-pressure rin nga na dami nagtatanong kung when na lalabas si baby lol. Naka-position na naman si baby kelangan na lang talaga nya bumaba hehe! Paano 7 pounds na sha at talagang pinagdiet na ako ng OB ko, and mature na daw si baby plus heathy so andun na rin yung excitement namen ni hubby.

1 cm lang ako sis when I was induced. After two doses of prostin gel, nag effect na. In 7 hours, I reached 8 cm.

I was admitted sis nung 31 weeks ako dahil sa labor tapos nung check up ko last Friday ang baba na ng cervix ko. From 2.55 nung jan12 2.1 na lang sya or 50%effacement. Sinabi ni ob na if magtuloy tuloy e 34 weeks na lang daw ako. Please pray for not another preterm again for me. 33 weeks lang si 1st born and 33 weeks na kami din ngayon. Naka bed rest ako ngayon. Hopefully 4 weeks more.

Im turning 36 weeks na tomorrow, at least makakahinga na ng konti...my ob said as long as umabot ako ng 36 weeks and if mag contractions ako ulit, she can deliver my baby na. Im still on bedrest and meds to stop the contractions. Sa monday pa ulit weekly check up ko with my ob. Wishing the best for us and our babies...

When i was confined it was complete bedrest with no bathroom privileges. When my ob discharged me sa hospital bedrest pa din at home but i can use the cr na. Im under house arrest for more than a week already.

^I think para matakpan/protect yung cord stump na hindi pa nagfafall off. Kaya lang hindi na rin ito advised ng mga pedia. Better daw kung exposed/pahanginan lang siya para mas madaling matanggal ang stump.

Gave birth na nga pala last Jan 28. Grabe ang bilis lang ng labor ko!

Sharing my birth story:

Woke up at 9am that day with intermittent contractions. No bloody show yet. By 11am, we decided to head to the birthing home. When the midwife did an IE, 1cm pa lang daw and 60% effaced ang cervix so she advised us na umuwi na muna.

On our way home, we stopped by a cafe to eat and I noticed the contractions were getting stronger and more regular. Hindi ko lang pinansin kasi I was second guessing dahil nga 1cm lang ako a few hours ago. But I kept timing the contractions. Nakauwi kami around 530pm and I was already in active labor. 7pm biyahe na ulit kami papuntang birthing home. Transition labor happened along Marcos Highway/Felix Ave (haha!).

Pagdating namin sa birthing home a little past 8pm, saktong nagrupture na BOW ko. Dirediretso ako sa loob. Upon checking, midwife announced na fully dilated na raw ako. Wow! So pushing stage na ako by then. Baby was born at 8:58pm.

Paglabas ni baby, ang nasabi ko na lang "Yun na yon? Ang bilis naman!" I'm thankful na ang bilis lang ng labor ko. Yun nga lang, I was supposed to have a waterbirth pero hindi na kinaya kasi pagdating ko sa birthing home, useless na to set it up kasi fully dilated na ako.

It was really a wonderful gentle birth experience. Skin to skin kami agad, baby latched right away, cord was clamped 4 hrs after pa (semi lotus birth) and delayed ang first bath ni baby.

Women are really strong and amazing. And birth is beautiful. Para sa mga about to give birth pa lang, kayang kaya niyo yan!

Nag false alarm ako last sat, pinauwi ako kasi 1 cm and long pa daw uterus. I was prescribed primrose oil. Sa mga mommies na nagtake nito to induce labor, do you drink it or insert it sa vagina or both?
