delayed period after going off birth control pills

Hi! I'm new here. Just wanna ask if anyone of you ladies experienced delay in your menstruation after going of birth control pills? I've been taking Althea for 6 years, nagdecide akong magstop last month because of hypertension. I popped by last pill last April 30, had withdrawal bleeding starting May 6 for five days. I'm supposed to have my regular period June 3, based on a 28-day cycle. I'm now 2 days late. Epekto lang kaya ito ng pag stop ko ng pills? I tried hpt a while ago and the result is negative. Will try again next week. Thanks sa mga magrereply.. I'm really worried.
