Haven't started planning our trip since it's too early pa, pero we're planning:

Tokyo - 4 days
Kyoto - 2 days
Osaka - 2 days
Nara - 1 day

Question: Anong recommendation nyo for a Mt. Fuji viewing activity? Lake Kawaguchi? Hakone?

Hi po! I have an inquiry po. I want to apply for a Japanese visa but I've just started working as a reliever MD at a new hospital because I've just graduated from residency training. Can I submit my ITR last year or is it better if just ask a COE from my current employer kahit reliever status pa lang ako? Thank you so much!

Hi! Hubby and I will be in Osaka in June. Will be staying at Hotel Sunroute Osaka Namba. We would like to visit Arashiyama and Kinkakuji in 1 day. Can we use Suica Card for the trains and buses in Kyoto? Which is the gest way  to go to Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion from Arashiyama? How do we go back to Osaka from Kinkakuji? Thanks.

^Sis princess lorraine,  I remember using our Suica card in Kyoto when we were there. We also did Kinkakuji and Arashiyama (and Tenryuji temple) in one day.

From Kinkakuji, we took Bus 204 to Emmachi station then transfer to the train for Saga-Arashiyama.

Hello. Our flight is at 9:30am at Narita. I know that the subways (malapit yung Airbnb namin sa Waseda sta. Tokyo Metro) usually opens at 5am. Ayaw naman namin magtaxi (expensive LOL). Punta kami Shinjuku sta. kasi don kami mag airport limo. Abot pa kaya kami sa flight namin?

Hi everyone! I'm planning to purchase a JR 7-day Pass. Pinaplano ko lang when to activate.
Pwede ba syang magamit sa within Kyoto or within Osaka lines?

there are some lines in osaka and kyoto that are not jr lines.
 mostly you'll be able to use it to get to Osaka or Kyoto using the shinkansen line - but far as i know the subway lines in osaka and kyoto are not covered by the jr pass

our 4th winter trip was held in hokkaido too!

- Shiretoko for the drift ice walk and dip (one of a kind)
- Asahidake with sulfur vents (a must!)
- Abashiri for the drift ice cruise
- Niseko for snowshoe tour and ski (nicer if not cloudy para may view ni mt Yotei)

Hi, has anyone here spent Christmas in Tokyo? I'm planning a 2-week Osaka and Tokyo trip for the family. Not sure lang about the crowd then, baka sobra dami ng tao. Also, is the weather freezing cold? Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi sis! We were in Tokyo last Christmas 2017. It's not freezing cold naman ( depending on how cold is cold for you), Tokyo area doesn't snow (rare occurrence lang last January 2018, a week AFTER we came home. bummer!). Wear winter clothes,scarf and gloves.

Hotel rates go up during Christmas season but in terms of crowd, parang the same lang. Japanese don't celebrate Christmas. Plenty of lights but a day after Christmas, wala na. hehe

If you extend until New Year, just be careful sa crowd. New Year is very important among Japanese, so crowded in temples and other attractions are close. Other busy areas in Tokyo tend to be calmer during New Year!

^ so beautiful. I was so excited about the shopping experience I will have in Japan prior to reading your blog. But now, I?m looking forward and much more excited to see sceneries and breathtaking views in there. Although di naman yata kasama sa itinerary namin ang Hakuba, sana we can have the chance to visit it while nasa Japan.
