^mabilis lang kami sa mt.fuji 5th station. Yun na pinakamataas na pwedeng puntahan ng bus. Wala pa kaming 1 hour. Ok iexperience yun cable car. Feel mong nasa nature ka.

pano kayo nag avail ng tour sa japanican or viator sis pag napay na papadala nila sa email mo yun voucher? tapos priprint lang sa printer?...yun na papakita on the day?

^hi sis. Nag book kami online sa website ng viator credit card pinambayad namin. Tapos nagsend sila confirmation. We printed the voucher then pinakita namin dun sa local travel agency JTB - Sunrise Tours sa may bus terminal. Baka pwedeng dumerecho sa JTB. Tapos dun sa pick-up point nakita ko madaming dun na lang din kumukuha ng tour. Diko na kasi tinanong kung mas mura baka manghinayang ako eh. Hahaha.. di kasi ako comfortable mag travel ng hindi naka reserve lahat mga bagay bagay.

mga sis, sulit ba yung tokyo metro 2-day or 3-day pass?  nagbook kami ng airbnb sa shinjuku and we're planning to tour around tokyo ng 2 days lang yung 3rd day namin is hakone before going to osaka.  mukhang shibuya, ginza and asakusa lang mapupuntahan namin sa tokyo.

mga sis plan namin magtravel 5 adults 6kids 1 senior and 1 1 yr old . any recommendation na pwede namin tuluyan? tokyo or osaka masok sa kids ? first timer kami lahat sa japan . ngayon pa lang stress na ako . salamat sa sasagot

Subscribing to this thread because I'm planning our trip to Japan for two weeks in Sept/Oct. So far what learned from reading through some of the pages is that JR rail is expensive and I should just buy one way tickets travelling intercity and a pasmo card to get around a specific city. Much research to do!

My hubby and I are going to Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto with day trips in the surrounding areas like Nara, etc. enough na ba ang two weeks?  What are the must sees in each city? TIA

We're travelling to Osaka feb 8-16.  I just found our that the pocket wifi sa airbnb is not unlimited. Where can we rent an unlimited pocket wifi yung cheapest rate? Thanks in advance

^global advanced communication kami nag rent. Eco wifi package. Yan cheapest nila.

In our 2015 trip (first time in Japan) nasulit namin talaga yung 3-day pass namin kasi whole day kami nasa labas lagi, and medyo malayo yung airbnb namin (although tokyo pa rin siya, so sakop ng tokyo metro). Pwede din icompute yung actual fare na magagastos versus 2 day or 3 day pass by using hyperdia.

^^preference ko Tokyo Metro than JR pero there are times na malayo ang Tokyo Metro exits from the places I want to go to kaya having the IC cards are convenient.

^ You can also try checking Japan Wireless. Depending on the rental duration it can be cheaper than Global Advanced. I've tried both and I haven't had any problems with speed and data cap (although on their website Global Advanced indicates a 10Gb monthly data cap).

^ sa kin importante ang may wifi kasi nakakalito yung train nila. hindi ako nagrent so naparoaming ako bigla.

i highly recommend pupuru wifi rental. it will be delivered either sa airbnb nyo or hotel or bahay. we stayed at my friend's cousin's house and andun na sya when we got there. to return it naman, drop it lang sa mga mailbox with the return envelope na kasama.

kung ayaw nyo magshare sa group dahil minsan naghihiwalay ng lakad, pwede sim nalang ang irent nyo with data para kanya kanya.

For kids, mas okay sa Tokyo than Osaka. Odaiba, theme parks like Disney and Hello Kitty, Ikebukuro and Akihabara for manga and anime lalo na kung ang kids mahilig magpabili. Big groups mas okay ang Airbnb or Roomorama but make sure that they are close to train stations or the major spots like Shinjuku or Shibuya para less stations to transfer and those two are major hubs for buses to the airport or places ideal for day trips.

mga sis from narita airport papunta downtown tokyo specifically nippori ano sinakyan nyo train yun skyliner ba or sky access or kesei main line? 3 choices of trains kasi like ko sana skyliner kaso namamahalan ako ..

^ The Keisei Skyliner is faster and you are guaranteed a seat. They also have dedicated luggage space on board, so you have a lot of bags this is preferable.

SkyAccess and Keisei Limited Express have more stops so travel time is longer, and they use regular trains lang without reserved seating. You can pick either one, depende na lang siguro kung alin yung mas mauna dadating. Make sure lang na you board the train bound for Ueno and not to Oshiage.
