Question lang, are Japan hotels strict on max # of persons per room? 3 kasi kami on the trip pero yung target hotels ko mostly ay 2 lang ang max ( Kaya ba ang sneak-in?

^ It depends on the hotel. If it's a four or five-star hotel with a big busy lobby, then maybe you can get away with it. Pero from experience a lot of the smaller hotels (e.g. business hotels) are quite strict, and they charge per person and not per room. It has to do with regulations kasi regarding max occupancy. And sneaking in is very risky din (not to mention difficult because you almost always have to pass by the reception desk), and there have been cases na the police gets involved. So I really would not recommend it.

medchic nakakuha nako ng yen sa czarina. .4704 rate nila ng kumuha ako. nagpareserve lang ako through phone then ask nila kung kelan ko kukuhanin. then tatawagan ka nila kung available na.

hi sis, mashado maliit ang mga rooms sa hotel sa Japan (hotel monterey ginza kame nag stay in 2015). so pag sinabi na for 2pax lang un.. 2 lang ang kasya hehe.. unless mga slim/petite kayo..
125lbs and 165lbs   un kuya ko sa room for 1pax lang 6ft 190;bs. Nakakahiya kase mag sneak-in dun sobrang honest ang mga tao hehe.. pero let's wait ano opinion ng mga sis natin

Airbnb is not an option kasi sa last day namin, 8PM pa ang flight so mahirap humanap ng pagiiwanan ng gamit. Kaya hotel with lobby sana talaga hanap namin.

Yes correct! Coin lockers are aplenty in train stations. And some airbnb hosts allow late check out especially if no one else will check in after you. The host I stayed at in Korea allowed me to use their car as locker parked in the same building since most of the huge lockers in the train station were occupied.

May nakuha ako mura sa airbnb. Sakura Guesthouse sa Osaka. 4200 pesos  for 3 nights for 2 pax. Malapit sa nishi nagahori station.

I agree sa coin lockers. Major train stations will have plenty of them, and they're big enough to hold check-in luggage. Just be there early lang especially if it's a particularly busy station.

Most people I know use airbnb nga. Apart from being cheaper, usually the place is bigger than the standard Japanese hotel rooms, and a lot of them provide mobile WiFi pa for free, which is a really nice perk.

Hi sis!! To those who bought JR Pass online and are here sa Manila, what site kayo bumili? hehe. And how many days before it arrives? I was thinking to buy it sa travel agency but I've read in a former post that there are freebies when you buy it online, sayang naman.

Actually sis not yet. I'm just thinking of getting it although nagrresearch pa ako. Sis kasama ba ang shinkanse sa JR pass? if Tokyo-Osaka-Nagoya-Kyoto yung destination namin meron ba mas magandang pass? Nasa building up palang kami ng itinerary sis. tee hee!..

^ilang days na pass ang kukunin mo? Kasi sa compute ko noon kung tatlong way na kasing length ng osaka-tokyo ang travel, masusulit yung jr pass kasi lagpas 6k php per way ang osaka to tokyo eh. Nagoya to tokyo naman nasa 4k+ php. Yung last trip ko kasi Kintetsu Rail Pass lang kinuha ko. Nagoya-Osaka-Kyoto. Mas mura sya. 5 days din yun for 3,800 yen lang. Hindi kasi ako mag Tokyo. Pero nung other 2 trips ko na nag Tokyo ako, one way Shinkansen ticket lang binili ko dun sa isa then dun sa isang trip naman nakakuha ako ng promo sa Japanican.com for roundtrip Osaka-Tokyo-Osaka with 1 night stay sa isang 5 star hotel for 16k php for 2 pax na so sulit. Problem ko lang dun is yun nga 1 night lang sa Tokyo.
