no sis, we dont need to love our president. our current president doesn't even require us to. as filipinos, we only have to love our country.

on UN statement, of course alam nyang hinde pwedeng basta basta nalang umalis. sana talaga may mag filter sa mga sinasabi nya at sana wala ng press briefing. official statements nalang ang iri release. at sana naman, we learn to be more discerning. nung statements nya about abu sayaff, kung pano sila nabuo, parang feeling ko bibigyan nya ng second chance tong mga criminals nato pero hinde naman pala.

I agree with this. We only have to love our country and be loyal sa bansa hindi sa kahit na sinong pulitiko. On the side note, sa ilan beses ko na din pagboto every election at sa ilan presidente na din na dumaan, si Duterte lang talaga ang masasabi ko (so far) na may pinaka madaming nagawa in a span palang of less than 2 months. Kaya bilib din ako sa kanya.

However, I know that the president is not perfect and no one is.

I was a bit disappointed with the UN statement too. Regardless kahit joke, rhetoric or kung ano man tawag don, medyo hindi maganda ang dating.

We cannot expect everyone to always take his words as a joke or hindi paniwalaan agad.

Good to know from the other post here na PH is not withdrawing support from the UN.

My POV naman sa statement ni Digong about sa UN is out of impulsivity dahil andaming unsolicited comments or sawsaw from the other countries na unaware naman talaga sa true status ng PH when it comes to drug issue, so parang it's one way for him to prevent them na makisawsaw sa sariling problem natin us Filipinos--well para kasing nasisira diskarte nya eh. Anyway bilib pa dn ako kay President and hopefully mareach nya [textspeak!] ultimate goal nya for the country--stop drugs and corruption.

Buti na lang magagaling sina Cayetano. and si bato magaling sumagot, alam mong very sincere siya na linisin yung hanay nila. Tama nga naman siya, na kung siya masusunod sana mag order na lang si Presidente to stop the war on drugs para matapos na, hayaan na lang natin ang mga kababayan mag hirap sa drugs kung yan ang gusto nila.  Sa totoo lang bago umupo si bato parang ang bata niya pa, ngayon 2 months pa alng parang laki ng tinanda niya.

Agree din ako sa sinabi nila JV, Cayetano and Lacson, na wag natin sayangin ang momentum ng PNP. Yung mga dati daw na gumamit ng bato, tulak ng bato ngayon takot kay BATO.  Ngayon lang ngyari to na pati mga govt officials and politicians ay takot na rin.

Ang mahirap kasi kila Delima eh inaattached nila yung EJK kina bato and duterte, na para bang sila ang may pakana nito. Na alam naman natin na gawa din ito ng mga drug lords, politicians and "some" police na sangkot sa droga para hindi sila madawit, pinapatahimik na nila.

Pero yung incident sa Pasay na Pinatay na mag-ama, dapat talaga imbestigahan yung mga police na pumatay dun. impossible kasing manlaban yun. Mukhang pinatay talaga yun para hindi siguro madamay yung pangalan nila. Saludo ako sa mga police na nagbubuwis ng buhay para sa bayan, yung pag pasok mo sa trabaho mo hindi mo alam kung makakauwi ka pa ng buhay,. Pero madami din talagang police na pasaway na ang iniisip lang ay PERA.

During the time of Gloria Arroyo, if you critiqued the gov’t, you were labeled as a supporter of President Estrada.
During the term of Benigno Aquino, if you criticised the admin, you were labelled as a GMA disciple and scorned.
This early, if you raise some points against the admin of President Duterte, you’re labelled a Yellowtard.
And if you are a supporter of President Duterte, you’re labelled as a Dutertard.

Can we go above the name calling, and just focus on the issues raised? Everyone has to wear glasses that are not rose coloured. Everyone should have an objective view and assessment of issues raised.. Without bias. Determine if the issue raised does have merit, and if true, the issue has to be addressed. In many cases, issues are raised, not to criticise the administration, but rather to help the admin correct its (perceived) mistakes.

Again. Look at things WITHOUT BIAS. Without blinders.. Without the rose coloured glasses..

Not a single administration can claim to be all good. Nor can any single admin can be labelled as all bad. EACH and EVERY administration, including this admin, had/has done good. And EACH and EVERY admin has had bad things happen during their admin, and committed mistakes because of their admin’s decisions and actions.

Learn to be objective. Understand that we are Filipinos. We are for the Philippines. Any and all persons, political parties, organisations, etc., only comes AFTER the country.
