and why are we so quick to promote doubt and mistrust, when duterte’s presidency has not even officially started? Tapos na ang campaign. Wag po tayong bitter. If nothing happens after a year, kung as rampant pa din yung drugs and crimes sa pilipinas as today, or kung hinde talaga naimplement yung FOI even sa cabinet nya , then go. Whine all day and night.

But hinde ako magsisisi na sya binoto ko kasi as far as I knew during the campaign, sila lang ni Miriam ang pwedeng mamuno sa pilipinas. After everything that has happened.

Hindi pa naman yata filled lahat ng positions so may chance pa na mabigyan si Leni ng post. Mahirap nga naman mag decide lalo na may trust issue si Pres. Rody saka pa yung mga gnawa nila during campaign period just to tarnish his name.

@sis chicabaulosa and sis springblossom oo nga hindi pa nakakaupo at kilos yung tao. Itong media naman kasi  pag nakakuha ng scoop biglang twist agad, whatever inflammatory comments he make, the media promulgates and the Anti-Duterte netizens are there to pounce on him. If they look past his image in the media, they could see that he is indeed competent and knows the laws needed to develop the Philippines (Constitutional reform). He isn't anti business as well as what these people call him and if they actually know more about him, they would see that he isn't far left and he seems to be influenced by center left philosophies.

He voices out the views of what many filipinos think, and the self righteous and wanna be politically correct leaders refuses. I think that's one of the reasons why he won this election. Kaya kaming taga Davao we're not bothered sa mga statements niya na ganyan. Coz we know this man will really work his ass off for the welfare of the Filipino people.

Yes. Ganun naman talaga yung iba. Naghihintay lang ng mali. Haha. Ganyan naman kahit dati pa ang Pilipinas. Regionalism, Family, Fanatics, at self interest ang inuuna. So bitter sila kasi yung bet nila di napagbigyan or what. 6 years pa sila magtitiis or 6 years sila manggugulo para lang may mapatunayan.

It's the Filipino culture talaga. Ganun din naman si PNoy before pa sya nakaupo, puro na lait sa kanya na wala syang gagawin kasi wala naman sya nagawa sa senate. Though I agree na wala syang nagawa sa senate that's why I didn't vote for him, he worked naman talaga as a president which international community has regularly acknowledged.

Re: Leni, I agree with sis grace.kelly na ok lang naman sa mga supporters ni Leni na walang cabinet position. Duterte is not required by law to give her one. Yun kinagagalit ng mga tao yun statement na his political alliance is with BBM kasi 1) maraming ayaw sa Marcoses, esp those who feel strongly for ML victims; and 2) because people hoped he would make do with his promise that his love for country trumps his friendships. They were very surprised that he emphasized on his friendship with BBM and used it pa as his reason.

^kaya nga sis. But I cant help but feel when reading some posts that things have a become a battle between leni and duterte. Which is not the way things should be.

Anyways, I also did not vote for Aquino. I tried my very best to be objective during his entire presidency. But geez, it’s too much. The credit grabbing and blame game, the media conditioning. It’s so tiring. I’m just glad his presidency is almost over and we can try a brand new start. Hoping and praying that this time, this new leadership will bring the Filipinos to work together for a better Philippines.

Sigh. Dapat naman talaga walang comparison na maganap between VP and President during their term. Parang pag ganun, talaga looking forward to oust the President lagi ang mangyayari.

For Aquino naman, Though I didn't vote for him, I supported him during his term. I supported his advocacy. I tolerated yung mga ginawa nya during his terms. His battles against his opposition and etc. Pero kung tatanungin ako if I want to extend his term by electing his bet? No. For his time, siguro ok na yung ginawa nya pero hindi na rin tama na ganun lang lagi. So ayun, nag vote ako ng I think mas right step sa sinimulan nya. For me it goes like this. Before PNoy, it's the government crooks (we know all of them are crooks) vs Us, The People. During his term Admin and The People vs Opposition (Admin crooks were exempted). Then this incoming term, it'll be Us, The People vs The rest of the crooks.  Parang pag meron kang dalawang enemy, kampihan mo muna ang isa at pagtulungan nyo ang isa bago at pag natalo na ang isa, yung kinampihan mo naman ang kaharapin mo. In the end, mas mataas ang chance ma-eliminate ang government crooks kesa naman ang mga crooks ang magkampi kampi at tayong mga Filipino ang maging kawawa at walang kalaban laban katulad ng nangyayari dati pa.

Just what I've thought. Knowing his persona..for sure pangpagalit lang nya yan, which is so effective din kasi according sa silent majority, hekhek..they are still questioning kung bakit walang posisyon si Leni sa cabinet..Besides, kung si Mar ang mananalo at si Cayetano ang VP do you think bigyan niya ng posisyon si Cayetano sa Cabinet niya? Sorry nalang talaga sila at si Digong ang nanalo..BTW, ramdam ko na ang pagbabago ngayon dito sa lugar namin, pati sa ibang lugar na napapanood ko sa TV..yung curfew, smoking ban, liquor ban..sobrang galing..yung mga bitter, sorry nalang.

hindi nga, but he justified their murders.

basically saying: you're free, or okay for anyone to kill, as long as someone deems you as corrupt, biased or destructive.

that poses a threat to journalists who are doing their jobs right. there are some who are out to expose corruption or politicians.

who gets a say whether they're doing it for the wrong reasons? their targets?

i find that irresponsible and disgusting.

i'm pretty sure we've all had our share of catcalls, and we know how gross that feels. just because he is president, doesn't make it okay. his actions trickle down to impressionable people who idolize him, and thats whats scary.





you don't have to defend him all the time. the job of voting for him is over, now do your job, as a citizen, to point and voice out whats wrong with the administration.

Mas napapa-facepalm ako sa simpleng pagtanggap sa catcalling, whistling, at justification of murder. As if there's nothing at all wrong with it. From taboo - naging katanggap-tanggap.

We are yet to see the 'effectivity' of his leadership. We, the ones who did not vote for him, can only hope and pray he delivers. If he does, I'm sure, we will be the first ones to applaud him and say "Yehey!" - who doesn't want good things to happen to this country right?

In the meantime though, it is just fair to point out his opportunities - before it gets worse, before it starts hurting us as a nation (imagine if he catcalled or whistled at a FOREIGN correspondent or a foreign dignitary, imagine if he was in front of international press and he says his statement about killing journalists - what you get from the media now? Maliit na bagay yan).

For the whistling, i agree i was disappointed. Sa sobrang gusto niyang mainis ang media pati yun ginawa nya. I just hope na pag upo niya, tahimik na sya.

Never liked the guy pero nung nanalo siya i wanted to support him na because he is now our president pero ngayon pa lang mapapailing ka na. sana lang talaga umayos siya..

I don't get his aversion to the media either. Its easier for some of his supporters to just believe that its him playing everyone else rather that believe whats right in front of them, even when he admits his faults.

I've read things like: "he's playing you guys like chess!" or "his politics are like GoT!" (anong gagawin ko sa GoT politics?! may dragon ba yan?!)


Theres no swaying his supporters, at least not right now, when most of them are just on a high thinking they one-upped the "elites".


I want to support him. Really, I don't want to wake up every morning with an angry Facebook newsfeed anymore! I was open to waiting for a year before I even really criticize him, but he doesn't seem to care about quelling people's worries or making us feel safe.
