I suppose you should be able to write interesting articles about products and services which initially you will have to pay for. You won't get offered anything naman on the onset of your blog.  You need to have a following.  Better yet, do a video blog, this seems to be more interesting.

What's your purpose ba sis? Iba kasi ang casual blogging sa kung gusto mong mag-earn ng money through your blog. If the latter, you have to treat your blog as a business.

Write quality content, first and foremost. Update regularly and spent a large chunk of your time promoting your content - in websites, facebook and other social media sites. You have to get connected sa industry, befriend fellow bloggers and other personalities in the field and so on.

Matrabaho, you need to be dedicated.

Actually di pa namin sure kung gusto naming gawing business eh pero for the meantime, gusto muna naming magka-avid readers. But thank you sa advice, sis!

Siguro you will need to invest on the products, treatments and places you want to review.  You will get a following over time.  Most of the successful bloggers started doing it as a hobby.  It's only now na sumikat talaga sila and they get invited to events.

Content is king. Some bloggers try too hard to write reviews but wala namang kwenta yung content. Or hindi marunong magsulat ng maayos. Take the time to review proper grammar usage and expand your vocabulary - hindi yung 5 food reviews in and all you can say is "delicious!" and "value for money!"

Another thing to write great content is you have to be what your blog is. Fashion blogger ka pero you don't know checks vs plaid. Gusto mo gumawa ng travel blog pero di ka pa nakakalabas ng NCR. To write great content you have to experience and live it, or else paano ka makakasulat about it, and ba't kami maniniwala sa mga nakasulat don? 

And IMO the more important thing is have value add sa blog mo - what makes it stand out from the numerous blogs out there? (E.g. is it straight-up review or may humor injected into it? Maganda ba yung pictures or parang kuha lang sa vga phone camera?) Ba't namin babalikan blog mo? Ba't namin iffollow? Ba't kami makikipag-interact? And ba't namin ise-share kung wala namang kwenta? (Unless pagtatawanan lang namin and isstalk yung blogger and make fun of his/her life choices )

If your goal is to promote it - aside from you paying for advertising, asking people to share it, and magpauso ng hashtags - first make it worth sharing, i.e. have great content so you will have a following/loyal audience. Kahit share kayo nang share, and promote kayo nang promote, kung hindi naman worth visiting or sharing or balikan, wala din. Tama si kit kat na matrabaho talaga ang pagiging blogger ngayon, especially now madami nang naunang mga bloggers, and some of them have crossed over na to mainstream media, and some have celeb/famous friends who can just tag them and drive traffic agad. Pag naradar na kayo, medyo madali na lang yan - just be consistently fun and informative.

Exactly!  So at first you will really shell out money and to understand what kind of people you want to attract in your blog. It's like in business, you need to know who your target market is.
