Btw mejo nalikito ako kung ano bibilin ko breast pump... Avent or medela.. Yung asawa ko bumili ng manual pump na avemt 3,500. Parang nakakahinayang  gamitin, dahil plano ko talaga mag BF ng matagal kay baby!.. Sa mga nabasa ko it saves time pag electric pump..right now housewife lang ako. Ang na try ko pa lang na pang pump yun electric na avent double pump sa MAkati med.

Any advice??  Di ko kasi kaya bumili ng worth 10k pataas na Breastpump.. Grabeh na gastos namin sa hosp.   TIA

Sis littlekinselle, kung sa bahay ka na muna, there's no need for an electric breastpump. Kasi medyo waste of money din siya unless madalas ka din lumabas at kelangan mag iwan ng breastmilk kay baby.

If ever man na bibili ka, mas magaganda reviews sa medela kesa sa avent. you could also look at spectra.

Sis, kung di ka pa naman magwowork no need naman to invest sa electric breastpump kasi mas okay pa din kung sayo lang naglalatch si lo. Okay lang din kung manual pump lang gamitin mo habang nasa house ka lang. Sa electric breast pump mas maganda ang review ng Medela, although I am using Spectra M1, super handy at less than 10K if you buy it online. You may consider it, if bibili ka na in the near future.

^after six momths siguro need ko na mag work , ni try ko gamitin un manual na pang pump na avent okay naman pero habang tumatagal sumasakit ang kamay ko hehe..balak ko kasi kahit one year si baby pure breast feded talaga.. Dami ko nababasa na maganda breast milk ang pina dedede habang lumalaki si baby.

Hi, I have Medela freestyle and plan to use pigeon wide neck bottles. Meron ba kayo idea where I can find bottle adapter for pigeon wide neck bottle so I can direct pump?

I have spectra 9+ and medela swing but i often use spectra.i feel that it has the more comfortable suction and flange.i think it's ok to buy 2nd hand as long as there is backflow protector.

Initially, I have been highly considering getting Spectra S2. I already got an Avent Natural Single Electric Breast Pump, bought it from the Expo at $200 and sold it for $150 coz I had a change of heart. And S2 has the best reviews online as well. But then, something came up and I needed a Double Electric Breast Pump right away so I contacted Spectra via Instagram DM. In all fairness to them, they answer to my queries promptly. Apparently it will take two days before I receive my online order so I purchased the Medela Freestyle instead coz it is readily available in the nearest baby shop here in our place. I'm just 11 days post partum so I am not getting enough just yet hence the mix feeding plan. Hopefully my supply stabilises as soon as possible.

I had been using Avent single electric breast pump before on my first son.  Now, I'm using Spectra M1.  I like the Avent better as compared to Spectra.  It's more comfortable to the breast because of the silicon massager.  Spectra has a silicon massager too but it does not fit all flanges.

The freestyle pump did not work for me so luckily, i have been refunded at the store where I got it from. And upon checking online, there are several unhappy customers with the freestyle. I already ordered Spectra s2. Can't wait to use it na!

^sis emjey, it doesn't have good suction sis. if magbubuild ka ng stash, definitely not the pump to go with. i have used other medela (symphony) ok naman. nung una ang dami kong nakukuha, nung tumatagal wala ng lumalabas sakin. minsan 2 drops lang, minsan wala talaga. mas madami pako nakukuha pag hand expressed.

aw sad to hear that.  nung nagreresearch pa lang ako ng electric breast pump, i considered getting the freestyle.  buti i didn't and i got the spectra 9+ instead and been reading good reviews on spectra breast pumps.

I am currently using the Spectra M1. I bought it at Rustan's Shangrila in Ortigas for 7,020 (discounted price kasi may sale from regular price of 7,800). May nagregalo kasi ng 5k Rustan's gift card while I was pregnant. So yun yung naisip kong paglaanan nung gift card.

Sa price, for me nasa mid-range ang price niya. Tama lang sa budget ko. Altough nakatulong din talaga na may gift card ako at 2k na lang talaga ang ginastos ko sa pump ko.

My baby is around 2 1/2 months. Mga 6 weeks ko na siyang ginagamit. Satisfied naman ako sa performance niya. Hindi rin siya maingay. At di nila maririnig pagpump sa sarili mong cubicle kapag may mga ibang tao sa room na naguusap din. itong M1 ko ang naging katuwang ko sa pagiipon ng stash para sa baby ko.

Sa weight, tamang tama lang ang weight nya at hindi mahirap dalhin para sa mga mommies na on the go.

Wala siyang LED display na gaya ng Spectra 9+ pero di naman talaga ganun ka importante yun kasi may timer naman sa cellphone.

Downside lang for me, ay hindi siya compatible sa Pigeon Peristaltic Plus wideneck bottles.
 
 Actually di pa rin lahat ng milk ko nakukuha niya at usually need ko pa rin maghand express. Pero sobrang malaking tulong sa akin itong pump ko kasi ito naging katuwang ko sa pagiipon ng gatas before going to work at patuloy pa ngayon na nagpa pump pa rin.actually sabi ng friend ko na almost 1 1/2 years nagbreastfeed, need pa rin daw talaga mag hand express to avoid mastitis.

 Sa august 12, 3rd month of continuous exclusive breastfeeding na kami! Halfway towards my minimum goal na 6 months.

^Same sentiments with M1.  I was able to build a stash and even donated 30 bags already. My son is 3 months.  Downside talaga is hindi sya compatible sa Pigeon eh yun ang ang mga bottles na nabili ko before I gave birth.

Hi Mommy Czarina, I tried 2 Medela pump for my 2 kids. for my  2nd child, nagamit ko yun medela mini electric it was hand me down from my twin sis okay naman for me nagamit ko for almost 1 year homebased lang ako nun kaya occassionally ko lang nagagamit and more on latch kami ni baby. With my 3rd child i used medela swing maxi double electric since i need heavy duty since full time work ko. Super sulit kasi i used it every 2 hours if im away from baby then direct feeding ako pagkasama ko si baby... It increased my  milk supply saka mas efficient dahil 2 breast na ako nagpupump in 15mins tapos na ko magpump. Maganda din sa medela they do breastshield fitting so sukat talaga yun size mo which is important din dahil pag incorrect yun size meron din effect sa pagkuha ng milk...3 years old na yun daughter ko and still breastfeeding:)
