Ika nga nila, there are many ways to skin a cat. What do you think suits you best in building/maintaining wealth?

For some it could be pageants (think beautiful women joining different pageants to win cash prizes, and maybe hearts of rich men), contests (acting, singing contests), many Pinoy families pin their hopes on their kids to make it big. In schools naman, they teach you to innovate, pero siempre mahirap naman mag innovate nang walang pondo. So in my case, di ako kumakanta and my talents are 'average' sabi ko ipon (from sweldo) na muna pang pondo, put it in rental properties, funds, etc. then when the time comes (I havent set my criteria yet) maybe I can engage in business in order to have more control of my time.

So in your case, or what you witnessed from your parents or friends, what are the tried and tested wealth building strategies?
