Succulents!!

Anybody here growing them?  I just bought from Baguio.  It's been 2 weeks, buhay pa naman pero I may have overwatered some or didn't give them enough sun.

Any tips?

where to buy succulents in manila mga sis? can i see these sa mga regular garden shops? tia!

Bought my first succulent! So excited for the next one. Di siya cactus and it's a bit colorful than the standard succulent. It's a bigger than what i have in mind for design purposes but i think it will do. As for the potting, may nakita kasi akong malalaking mugs sa daiso na magaganda, i might use that. Padrill na lang ako ng hole sa baba. Kaya kaya yun mga sis? May nakita ako sa youtube na nagdridrill ng ceramic. Though i might look for a thicker mug. Haha.

ilang buwan na rin yung succulent (sansevieria bacularis) namin dito sa bahay. sa cedar hills binili, mo. ignacia street ata yun, near capitol medical.

medyo nahirapan ako mag-alaga hahaha. siguro kasi nagstart kami sa maliit na pot? e kapag pala nilagyan ng fertilizer mabilis dumami so nung nagka sprouts na, isa-isang namamatay na yung older leaves.

naisip namin, since ang goal is padamihin (at dahil nakakatamad magre-pot) 1 big pot na lang kami.

Saw some inside robinson's supermarket so i bought one, sis. Not sure pa kung pano ko mame-maintain. Need ko pa mag-research para maalagaan ko mabuti. 😊

I bought a jadelet and naglalagas siya huhu. Baka lagyan ko ng fertilizer para magproliferate at mabuhay

^wag mo lagyan ng fertilizer sis, hayaan mo lang. Wag mo diligan and ilagay mo sa maaraw na area. It needs direct sunlight.

Omg kala ko ako lang namamatayan ng succulents!!! Ako rin nagsimatay sila nung inuwi ko na sa bahay. tapos di ba sinasabi n sobrag low maintenance lang nila so kala di talaga ako for raising plants. 😢😢😢

Mas nageenjoy na ako sa gumamela mas hindi sila sensitive. Yun naman succulents kaht ilow maintenance m namamatay pa din hehehhe

low maintenance pero super sensitive hahaha! kainis lang! ang mamahal pa naman!

Nagdala ang office mate ko ng succulents na nabili niya sa Baguio.  Ang cute at ang mura lang!  P50 petot lang daw ang isa.  Meron pa nga na mga tanim na sa starter pots lang eh 3 for P100 lang.  Yung isang dala niyang plant eh hindi naman succulent pero miniature plant na pwede nang sabihing bonsai.  Waah!  Gusto ko tuloy pumunta sa Baguio

I have succulents at home and from experience one cause kung bakit namamatay is because of over watering. They can survive without that much water. Same family sila actually ng cactus so just water it paminsan-minsan lang. The soil has to be extremely dry bago mo diligan. What you can do actually is to put them in the bathroom once in a while dahil humid dun.

Not sure kung merong nabibili dyan sa atin but put them in specifically for cactus because it drains faster. The pot also has to have holes for proper drainage.  I have different kinds right now and so far, hindi namamatay. It's winter here and I put them near the window to get enough sunlight.  Pakita ko picture one time.

Na-inlove ako sa mga Succulents. I want to grow an indoor plant at herbs sana. Sana huwag mamatay. According dun sa nabilhan ko, once a week lang dapat diligan or kapag dry na yung soil.
