For those teaching online, have  you experienced any unexpected dropped calls while teaching?  I've already reported it to my ISP and it's under observation.  They're not sure if it's because of the broken undersea internet cable .  First time mangyari sa akin ito.  Fibr pa naman ang gamit ko.

Thanks to all the sisses who shared their tips with me here. Just wanted to update that I did finally resign last July and took the rest of the month off (since I had some relatives over for vacation and had to entertain them). Then medyo nagkapersonal drama and attended to that.

Recently after things have settled I started an account on Upwork but haven't scored a job yet, will keep trying I'm no longer in a position to go back to the corporate world, if ever maybe next year na kasi i'll be out of country for more than a month soon and that alone will make it hard for anyone to hire me. I'm really hoping this freelance thing just pays off for me so I can make it longterm just like you guys hehe! Patient pa naman sakin si hubby and he knows I wont be working at least until after we come home.

Wfh mommies who does not have yayas or help... how do you do it? Anong usual routine niyo sa housework plus taking care of your kid/s, hubby and then work? Anong oras usually work niyo? Im scared that i might not be able to manage my time properly. Ngayon palang kasi ubos na talaga oras ko sa anak ko, she's almost 18 months at laging nakadikit sakin

Sis det060403, mahirap nga yung ganyang age. 4 years ago ako nag start mag work at home. 3 years old anak ko at very clingy. I must admit malaki ang utang na loob ko sa Nanay ko kasi siya nag-babantay while I am doing my job (ESL tutor ako before) pero noong nagkaroon na ako ng non-voice na flexible schedule pa. Kaya na ang lahat. Pero mind you ah? Don't expect our house to be in order or super linis.

^^sis det, i'll be honest, ako hindi ko kinaya ng walang yaya. almost same age ang baby natin. kahit flexi sched grabe ang puyat ko. my daughter is breastfed on demand, doesn't sleep through the night until now. nakakatulog lang sya pag may dede. promise sobrang hirap, yung isang employer ko nung nagresign ako, nalungkot sya for me haha kasi nga sabi ko wala akong yaya kaya i have to give up my post. kaya naghanap muna ko ng yaya bago bumalik full time. ibang klaseng convenience pag may reliever ka sa pag aalaga ng baby. i still breastfeed her on demand, also during naps and bed time, pero at least pag play time nya may nagbabantay sa kanya. pag late ako natapos (like 4 or 5am), pwede ako matulog until 9 or 10 and paggising ko nakakain at nakapaligo na ang anak ko. sobrang laking convenience talaga.

wow sis pareho tayo my LO is 10mos and breastfeed ako on demand, pero wala pako yaya and super hirap ako I work 10 hours a day , 2 jobs. buti mejo maluwag pareho. she doesn't sleep straight din at night kaya puyat din ako lagi.

gusto ko rin may reliever kaya hanap ako yaya.

So I guess for now tanggapin ko muna na extended na hindi ko pa talaga kayang magwork, unless we find a reliable yaya or help. Haay! Thinking about sundan na din si lo when she turns 2. Hahaha... or ipagpaliban muna... bahala na!

Mommy  @la_pinay, how do you it? Anong usual routine niyo ni lo? We're exclusively breastfeeding din and breastsleeping, kahit nap time. My baby walks around na din at literally laging nakasunod sakin... ngayon pa lang ikot na pwet ko with her and chores. What time work mo?

I'll be back to work narin and my baby is just 3 months old. Right now, I don't know how to manage my time yet. I'd been working from home since last year pero wala naman problem kasi 8 years old na yung panganay ko. So, I can fix him to school first before I start my work. We did not hire any helper and wala din siya tutor that time. As in ako lahat.

Now, we have a 3 month old baby ( exclusive breastfeed). Syempre iba na ang demands ng infant. My 19 year old niece is with us right now to help us (Cook, clean the house, do the laundry and kung may time, magpadede lang sa baby). Kumuha narin kami ng tutor for my son. So, may nagsusundo na sa kanya from school papunta sa tutor (kasama kasi siya sa binabayaran namin) and then 2 hours siyang mag stay dun. After that, saka siya sunduin ng niece ko.

I don't know kung makakayanan namin. We'll see.

Is anyone generous enough to share tips on scoring your first few jobs in Upwork or similar platforms? What is an acceptable rate for someone with no experience? I tried applying months ago but wala talaga response sa mga gusto ko Would appreciate any help.

Kinda stressed. Have a hard time juggling things up. Like what would I do first? Household chores? Take care of my baby? Or simply get things done to meet deadlines. Haist. Good thing I got hold of my own time kaya puede ko gawin lahat or unahin ang gusto ko unahin. Pero naman... I was like drained.

^ Your hard work is admirable , sis. Take things easy. Do house chores last or only what needs to be done. I know easier said than done ! But think of the bright side na it's better than working at a call center

Set your priorities sis, ako talaga house chores ang last sa list ko palagi. I can leave a pile of dirty dishes so I can finish my work or attend to my daughter or bond with my husband. It's not for the OC mommies though. Like you, kaya naman talaga gawin lahat, but pagod pagod nga lang. Ako personally I don't push myself to the limit, I do what I can, pag pagod ako i'll take a break.

Now that we have a househelp sobrang convenient na. I feel like I'm able to do everything na hindi half-a**. Hehe. I can finish my job without thinking kung anong kakainin namin ni baby. I can bond with my daughter and not think about cleaning up the toys and doing the laundry. And husband comes home to a well-rested, good mood, happy wife, and we get to spend quality time pa rin. Most of all, I can take a pee anytime I want without a toddler in tow 😂 Kaya very helpful talaga na may makakatulong ka sa bahay na reliable.

Nung una I thought better ang flexi sched. But then I always end up procrastinating kaya lagi akong nagkacram sa deadlines, just because I thought I can do it on my own time. Technically flexi pa rin sched ko but nagset na ko ng 9-6pm/7pm schedule ko everyday. Mas sustainable sya for me and mas productive din.

As for the type of job, depende sa skill set mo. Madalas talaga technical skills and in demand and mataas ang rate. Kasi yung mga general data entry jobs/admin positions, usually mababa offer, then sa upwork pa, madaming competition.. Some are willing to bid for as low as a dollar per hour for non-technical positions...

Try mo din onlinejobs.ph, or craigslist! Dami ring remote work postings on craigslist.

Question mommies, how do you file your ITR? First time ko magpafile as freelancer/self employed. Ano bang process, and which forms ang kelangan?

Ako din. My priorities are not the house. I ask my family to help out or during my break, I do what I can but I put a break. Kahit flexi time ako, I try  to stick to my working hours so I have time for my family and I try to stick to  my target working hours too para productive ako.

Hi mommies! I suggest you look for data entry jobs, madali lang ang work kasi mostly data encoding or typing lang altho medyo mababa ang starting like $3-4/hr pero atleast makadagdag sa pambayad ng bills. Madami ako nakikita sa fb and meron din sa onlinejobs.ph, apply lang ng apply mga sis hehe send as many applications as you can.

I am a working mom myself with a toddler and mahirap sya, wala din akong yaya, so i really ask help from my husband and mabuti din na yung panganay ko eh pede na mautusan gumawa ng chores at magbantay kay baby. I also try to do house chores at asikasuhin lahat ng needs ni baby in the morning para pagdating ng hapon, pede na ako mag work especially pag nap time nya na. Kelangan talaga may tutulong satin mga sis dahil hindi natin kakayanin lahat lol! So yun lang if you can delegate tasks sa older kids nyo and ask your hubbies for help, do so. And in time makakaraos din hehe sa umpisa lang talaga mahirap.
