I'm 6 months pregnant on my 1st baby and WAHM since 2012.  I'm currently working 16 hrs a day. I'm planning to file a 2-3 weeks maternity leave (medyo strict kasi) and 1 week lang on my other jobs, eto yung magagaan lang.  Hopefully, kakayanin! I don't want to lose any of my clients. I have been working with them for more than 2 years na..

I recently hired a kasambahay kasi di ko na kayang magtrabaho ng mabibigat. I'm thinking if I need to hire another 1 just for the baby.. Medyo mahinhin kasi [textspeak!] nakuha ko but I like her kasi matiyaga naman syang matuto.

I have set up my own office sa kwarto namin, may separate door sya na di maiistorbo si hubby at si baby sa gabi.. closet at the same time office na rin sya..

Ang hirap maging WAHM no? kasi kailangan doble doble ang trabaho. Kung wala ka kasing back up na work, nganga ka pagka nawala ang client.

Sis, ako before I had my baby  10-12 hours a day ako nag work, now 8 hours. been working from home since 2009-2010...I suggest get a nanny for your baby, kasi believe me wala kang matatapos. Si baby is 1 year old na with nanny kaya nakakawork ako. ang hirap, wala din akong maternity leave, I had to work after 2 weeks of giving birth...CS pa ako ha. more on a consultant ako kaya during first 3 months ni baby mga 4 hours a day lang ako nakaka work. medyo mahirap pero nakaya.

Mommies, sino sa inyo gumagamit ng Unionbank EON? May withdrawal fee ba sya pag galing Paypal? I receive my salary sa Paypal and withdraw it directly on my personal savings account (BPI). Looking for other options lang.

Yes ok naman sis.. Nagkaproblema lang dati gawa ng mga ang daming nananakawan, huwag ka lang magwithdraw sa mga ATM na tago at walang guard.

Dati BDO ang gamit ko...Ako kasi pinasara ko na ang BDO ko, badtrip kasi sila. Daming charges.

^Sis kuha ka na ng EON may yearly charge lang siya pero okay na kasi wala naman withdrawal fee unless below 7000 ang withdraw mo. Mabilis din ang pasok ng pera.

May sineswerte meron naman nahihirapan makahanap. But once you find the right client, super okay ang work from home. Mas malki ang income ko compare sa dati nung pumapasok pa ko sa BPO.

Hi sis, thank you for lending me your perspective. I am really hopeful to prove I can earn from freelance work. I'm planning to resign soon, and I have no Plan B/ backup job to depend on. I'm still scared to lose out on my income now but am willing to risk a few months. My husband has finally given his go signal to allow me this freedom, and I shall take it. Will also gauge how many jobs I can get at a time so that just maybe I can still earn what I'm earning now

If I may suggest, maybe you can already take on an online job or two before resigning so that you can get a feel of it. If you like, you can try out an online school and see if you like teaching or you can try out Upwork and see if you can get some online work too . Good luck !

Onga sis mag take ka muna ng mga part time online bago ka mag resign lalo na if sa upwork ka, pampa dagdag sa rating mo yun and worked hours tsaka feedbacks na rin from clients

when my baby arrived, I resigned from my work with no plan B. then I took a chance on working from home, I just feel so happy and blessed that I get to earn while taking care of my LO. )

I'm so lucky with my current boss. Super bait! Work load is light lang, and pay is good na din naman (half of what I used to earn). But I really enjoy the flexible hours. And super bait ng boss ko talaga. Wala akong masabi!
