emjey - musta ka na sis? ilang weeks ka na today?

which is witch - hi sis. may nabasa ko sa kabilang thread nakakamiss nga raw maging preggy. how are you and lo sis? hope all is well.

macheoc - same tayo sis sa friday pa balik ko kay OB. sabi ng mom ko sana raw pag nagpa check up ako wag na ako pauwiin hehe. ako rin sis feeling ko minsan kulang din sa tubig kaya siguro ganun.

120515 - hi sis! same here, i feel tired most of the time kaya hindi ko mapanindigan yung paglalakad ko. re weight gain, mababawi mo pa yan sis. ilang weeks na ako walang weight gain pero ang takaw ko pa rin. OB told me si baby na raw yun, normal daw during 3rd tri.

aylatskie - congrats sis! nagising ka ba nung naramdaman mo yung brownish discharge + menstrual cramps? as in super sakit ba sya sis?

36w4d na kami today, madalas na rin contractions ko pero irregular. Hindi ko rin nasusunod yung sinabi ni OB na 4hrs maglakad daily. Ang bilis ko kasi mapagod. Ang hirap na rin matulog kasi kada magpapalit ako ng pwesto, ramdam ko yung bigat ni baby.

Aylatskie, congrats to you as well. We almost have the same birthing story, the brownish discharge etc. i was 5 days overdue but good thing the baby did not poop inside. I am curently on mixed feeding. I discard leftover milk all the time.

crzysxycl haha gusto ko rin nyan kaso pa 36 pa lang ako sa weekend, paabutin ko sana a little over 37 hehe. kaso kinakabahan ako baka closed pa ako kasi nagshorten ako at 20 wks tapos pinag take ako ng progesterone suppositories para iwas pre term... now baka naman ayaw na bumuka, which happened to a friend of mine na nag overdue. sana naman hindi... really praying for good results

belle 5 days overdue ka pala but it's a blessing no poop from baby. congrats again!

^apir sis! hehe. oo nga eh, sabi ko rin kay hubby, kung di saktong 37 weeks lalabas si baby sana hanggang 38 weeks lang, hay ang bigat na kasi talaga. pinaglalakad lakad ka na ba sis? nakakatulong daw kasi para bumaba si baby. challenge nga lang ito sa akin kasi ang dalas ko tamarin lately. nung last check up ko station -2 na si baby, pero may nabasa ako na hindi raw assurance yun na sa susunod station -1 or 0 na sya, pwedeng floating daw uli. bubuka yan sis, pag pray natin yan.

yes sis macheoc, i was 5 days overdue. the moment baby was placed on my chest, he suddenly pooped and had a wee on me hehe.

im on my 35th week na. magkakasunod lang tayo mga sis. Excited na kami ni hubby

re formula milk. do i need to include this in my baby's checklist? kelangan na ba bumili na kami agad just in case wala pa kong breastmilk? if so, anong formula milk binili niyo?

Hi mga sis! 37 weeks na kami ni baby sa Saturday, check up ko din for 1st IE. Sabi nila masakit daw, masakit nga ba? hehe Excited na kami ni hubby sa pagdating ni baby, gusto ko din before 40 weeks lumabas na siya. 

Mas madalas na yung pananakit ng puson ko this past few days. Then yesterday, sumakit yung pempem ko na parang tinusok ng karayom for a second or two. Natigilan ako that time at pinakiramdaman ko yung sarili ko, sumakit lang naman puson ko after then okay na ulit.

Anyone na naka-experience ng ganito?

And mas madalas na rin ako sa cr para mag pee, halos every 30 mins ata. hehe

wow dami ko na na-miss:) totoo ang sabi nila na it takes a village to raise a child hehe. sa mga manganganak it really helps if kasama ang mom nyo or anyone you can trust aside from your hubby for the first couple of days! the puyatan is real hehe. But the love you will feel for baby is so overwhelming you'll cry (or baka hormones ko ito haha!)

sis aylatskie, at room temperature formula milk to be used within 1 hour, same as breastmilk. congratulations on your baby!!!

Hello mga sis! Wasnt able to back read but I want to share my labor and birthing story.

My due date was on July 13th. We moved to a new apartment last July 1st and continued on July 2nd. But i was already feeling so tired then kahit di naman ako nagbubuhat pero since 2nd floor yung unit Sometimes akyat panaog di maiwasan. Ihi ako ng ihi, worried ako kasi around 5pm napansin ko I was slowly leaking down there. Pero konti lang. But still feeling ko talaga my water broke. On july 3rd 430 am, went to the washroom and see my panty with blood and bloody red na din ang ihi ko. At 7am we were admitted at the hosp. 9am they did speculum test to check if my water broke. I was already 1cm dilated but since water has broken they need to induced me within 24hrs. By 8pm they put cervidil in my vagina. Contractions start right away and by 9pm i already felt how bad it is to be in active labor. Contractions interval was every 3minutes and I was really in pain. By 3am of july 4th i was transferred to labour room. I was already 6cm when i decided to do epidural. D ko na talaga kaya. By 430am 9cm na ko sobrang bilis pala effect ng cervidil sa akin, im not sure if tama na nag epidural ako because suddenly I didnt feel the pressure down there. Maybe sobrang manhid that I couldnt feel anymore or nakatulog si baby. When 8am wala pa din ako nafefeel na pressure to push, binawasan nila ang epidural ko, there I felt the pain of contractions again. By 1020 am, i started to push. I was exhausted, tired, gutom, puyat, pain everywhere due to needles, IE from time to time, catheter---i was really losing it. I thought i couldnt really make it. Feeling ko mhhimatay na ko and i said i dont have the energy to push anymore. Buhok lang ni baby ang nakikita nila, d ko mailabas c baby. There they decided to do assisted delivery,  at 12:19nn i was transferred immediately sa emergency room, napakadaming doktor at nurses. They used vaccuum cap to help me deliver the baby, after few more pushes where i gave all energy left I have- finally baby out at 12:31nn. Napaiyak na ko when I heard her cry. D ko na alam nangyari sumunod. Sabi ni hubby, they did episiotomy on me. Cord coil c baby and naipit ang left shoulder. Kaya pla hirap n hirap ako ilabas c baby. Had it been unsuccessful, they wouldnt have a choice but to do cs. Thank God it went normal pa din.

We stayed for another 4 days in the hosp due to slight jaundice ni baby. She was in phototheraphy for 2 days and 7 bloodworks done to my little one before we were completely given discharge notice. As for me, the next day nakakakilos na ko, althought masakit pa din ang tahi ko, breastfeeding is my feeding choice so kahit wala i still tried to feed her. Mixed with formula muna ginawa ko. When we were home i still continued doing mixed feeding kay baby, the next day my bm na ko and thats what I do now. Binibgyan ko na lang ng vitamin D si baby everyday.

Sorry ang haba ng story ko, i couldnt remember anymore anong klaseng pain nafeel ko then, all I know now is that I survived that day and still feel surreal whenever i looked at my baby's eyes. All worth it.

Aylatskie- congrats sis! True yan, ako nung kinukuhaan ng dugo si baby for lab tests , naiiyak din ako. Naaawa ako. Ganun palang ginagawa sa baby natin,ramdam na ramdam na no,

Sis ferrerorocher, ako sis pinagtake ako ng malunggay capsule 2 weeks after ko madischarge pa sa hospital.  May nabasa ako na myth lang daw yung mga pagtake ng ganyan. sabi ang talagang makakapagincrease lang ng supply natin is yung paglatch ni baby. Yung napoproduce lang ng katawan natin, yung need ni baby. Based on my experience, nakapagincrease nga ng supply ko is yung consistent na latch/ direct feed sakin si baby.😊

sis SARAHnghae- sis depende sa hospital kung pagfformulahin si baby. Share ko lang. Yung sa hospital na pinaganakan ko, di nila binigyan ng formula yung baby ko, meron sila nakastock na breastmilk from breastmilk banks (pgh, fabella,makati breastmilk bank) but very limited lang. Nung paubos na, since wala pa lumalabas na milk sakin, nirefer niya kami na kumuha sa breastmilk banks . Ako na nga may gusto magformula si baby, kaso ayaw nila. Kaya ayun, naghingi ako sa kaoffice ko na kakapanganak lang din sa sobrang desperado ko na, instead na kumuha ako sa breastmilk banks , malalayo yung mga yun sakin, hehe.

Sis flippy_laddy, congrats!! Nawala na yung paninilaw ng baby mo sis? Ano daw cause ng jaundice? Yung baby ko kasi nanilaw din, nagphototherapy kami pero overnight lang, tas pinauwi na.ngayon my baby is 3 weeks na,pero madilaw padin, everyday paarAw kami. Nakuha kasi ni baby yung bloodtype ni hubby which is B+, eh O+ ako. Yun yung cause ng jaundice niya. Di naman chineck yung actual billirubin levels ni baby, nakita lang talga na madilaw. Exclusive breastfeeding ako by the way, sabi ng pedia, nakakacause din daw ng paninilaw yun pero continue BF lang daw. Yung vit D sis, may pinapainom ka ba or paaraw lang din? Sorry sis, dami ko questions. 😊

loidyloids - goodluck sa next checkup sis. same pala tayo ako naman 37 weeks tomorrow. re IE, since napreggy ako lagi ako ina-IE ng OB ko kasi malambot lagi cervix ko. Pero pansin ko nitong 3rd tri na, masakit na pag in-IE nya ko, lalo na yung last week. Pinakapit nya pa nga ako sa secretary nya kasi ang sakit talaga, buti nalang hindi naman ako nag spotting kasi sabi nya wag daw ako matakot kung sakali.

Nice to hear birthing stories.  Medyo kinakabahan na rin ako pero at the same excited to see my baby.
Thanks for the info re malunggay capsules. Will check with my OB na rin.
This Saturday, I will be on my 36th week and scheduled for check-up and ultrasound.  Malalaman na namin kung umikot na si baby.  Kase last check up namin, na sa may left side yung ulo nya. 
Ano pa bang kailangan itanong at malaman kay OB bago manganak? First time mom here.

Sa mga nanganak na, nag-rooming in ba sa baby sa inyo? Or may choice kayo kung puwede sa nursery muna?

Sis ferrerrorocher, nung i think 2nd day. Since pwede na siya di magincubator and maoxygen, pina room in na sakin. I think, may choice naman. Pero nung time na sinabi sakin na pwede na iroom in, tinanong ko, pwede bang sa nursery muna?(since hirap pa ako gumalaw dahil CS) ang pedia ang nagsabi na mas gusto niya nakaroom in si baby, since sa hospital na yun pinopromote nila daw ang mother and child bonding, and aside pa dun, may babies na may infection sa nursery kaya ayaw din ng pedia ko na magstay dun si baby. Kaya pumayag narin ako na magroom in na si baby.😊

hi mga sis! may na diagnose ba ng UTI sa late pregnancy? kinakabahan kasi ako baka may UTI ako. although tom magpapa urinalysis ako, sana ok results. nung start kasi ng pregnancy di maganda yung results ko so nag antibiotics ako for a week. after that ok naman. naprapraning lang kasi ako since malapit na  ayokong mapahamak ko pa si LO. buong preg pakiramdam ko ako [textspeak!] nag fe fail sa kanya, pero sya laging fight lang ng fight  sorry ang hormones ko ang erratic ang drama ko 

crzysxcl hi sis! oo naglalakad lakad na din ako pero sa IE ko pa malalaman anong status ko. naka leave ka na ba from work? ako kasi di pa so may opportunity pa to walk at least from seat to pantry hehe.

ferrerocher ako sis sinabihan na ako na room in agad. yun kasi advocacy ng hospital yung bonding daw ng mom and baby. sa mga ob visits ko nag finalize na rin kami ng birth plan. pinaghanap na rin niya kami ng pedia

which is witch naku, mahaba habang adjustment daw yan! pero sabi nila fun naman and worth it  kamusta na ba sleeping habits nyo ni baby?

loidyloids mag a IE na rin ako. kinakabahan nga din ako sabi uncomfy daw. same tayo sis, may times na masakit down there. one time akala ko lumabas na si baby hahahah

Hi sis macheoc not me but someone I know na may UTI pala sya nakita nun nanganak sya, they have to put the baby sa nursery because of that for further tests

Hello sa mga working moms! Ask ko lang kung kelan niyo plan mag take ng maternity leave? Sayang kasi kung super early diba? hehe

Bukas pa ako makapag decide based sa magiging result ng check up ko, medyo nakakainip na pala talaga kapag nasa 37th week ka na. Tapos si baby pa feeling ko gusto niya na lumabas kapag gumagalaw siya. Hahaha
