I do not see it unsafe kung ob naman ang nagprescribe.

^ sis rhylie10, sis stylus is right - you should trust your ob-gyn. I don't think your doctor will give you any medication that will harm you or your baby. it's better to be safe than sorry later on. if you're really not comfortable with taking the meds, you can go back to your doctor and talk to her about it and why you don't want to take it. she might be able to give you something else.

^^ sis mitchanglo17, i noticed that I have more vaginal discharge now that I'm pregnant compared to before my pregnancy. as long as it doesn't have any foul smell or isn't bloody (brown or red) then I think it's fine. i just keep my down there very clean like I use unscented wet wipes after peeing, use cotton pantyliners, and use a mildly scented feminine wash. so far I haven't had any issues.

Hello! Makikisingit lang dito sa thread. hehe. It's been 3 years since I last logged in to FN. :)

Makiki-join ako sa batch na to. I'm currently at 33 weeks and soon to pop 3rd week of August. :)

Praying for a healthy and safe pregnancy(till delivery) to all moms of this batch! :-*

nag suppository ako  during 27th week kasi nga daw may discharged after that, ganun pa din i still have white discharge, i then changed oby na sabi ni new doc normal lang daw sa specially 3rd trimester na as long as no odor and color is white
as per internet normal nga daw it means the cervix is doing its job daw double time to keep that part moist palit lang talaga tayo undies and si makaluma mother ko plantsa ng undies din para malayo sa bacteria

mitchanglo17- sis, consult your ob. Sabi kasi ni ob, pagyellow or brown, baka infection. Pacheck mo na lang sis para sure. Ako kasi nun nagsuppository din for the discharge before.

rhylie10- sis stylus is correct, kapag may sakit ang mommy or kapag nagkaknfection, it should be treated asap kasi kung hindi mapapasa sa baby ang infection. Ako din ayoko sana uminom n meds, but i trust that my ob will not give anything that could harm me and my baby. 😊

Kumusta kayo mga mommies?😊

with my second, suppository ang ginamit ko. metronidazole.  kaso napansin ko noon pabalik balik lang din yung infection.  tsaka di ako masyadong comfortable inserting something there and messy siya :D

etong third ko, oral yung metronidazole na binigay ni ob.  nagresearch muna ako ng bongga bago ko ininom. mas naging ok ang result,di na naulit tho nagpalit din ako ng fem wash to gyne pro and i stopped using pantry liner na.

Hello girls, kamusta na po? Excited to hear more birthing stories from you.

Will be turning 35 weeks this weekend. Im feeling mild period-like cramps. It's not painful at all, no prob din with discharge color or smell. Mas prominent lang yung feeling and siguro mas dumalas, I would feel it at least once a day this time. Next week pa appointment ko. Should I be worried and call for an earlier appt?

Pag may infection ba may masakit? or makati?

If hindi masakit, looks like braxton hicks pa lang yan.  Sounds normal for me pa.  But if incase na regular painful contraction na or your water bag broke or maraming bloody show, then inform your OB agad and go to ER.

Hi mga sis! Will be 35 weeks on weekend (based on utz) while 36 weeks (based on lmp).

Thanks mommies! :)

Hi mga sis! Kamusta kayo? Sa mga nanganak na, hope all is well sa inyo ng babies nyo. :)

36 weeks today based on LMP. Went to OB kanina and sabi nya station -2 na raw si baby. First time ko to narinig kaya nagbabasa basa ako. From 2hrs na lakad last week, gawin ko raw 4hrs this week.

go go go third quarter mommies! looking forward to reading all your burh stories in the coming weeks! ;)

regarding baby's due date, we follow what our ob told us in our first ultrasound (baby was just a sac then) and her estimate based on my menstrual cycle and last menstrual period (i have a 37-39 day cycle), both coincided :)

i feel baby more when i'm lying on my left side, sis loidyloids, especially in the very early morning. my baby is very active and i feel her everywhere. last night, she kept kicking my bladder and i'd feel this sudden electric shock to pee and then it will disappear!

we've also assembled baby's playard and stroller as well as started packing our maternity bag - all the clothes are ready, just have to get a few more essentials for me like maternity pads, disposable underwear, and a bottom spray.

what do you guys think of total strangers commenting on your bellies? i personally don't mind but it can get a bit annoying sometimes. like last weekend, i was just standing there and a lady started commenting to another lady beside me that i must be about to give birth because my tummy is now so big and low. they must have thought i couldn't hear them but the commenter was really loud. i just turned and smiled at them. i just read an article on my whattoexpect app about a mom who also got comments about her belly being too big and i could really relate because that's what i get all the time.

have safe and healthy pregnancies everyone!

120515, i don't mind getting those comments before. i have been hearing them from the time my belly reached the last trimester and everyone (like, everyone at work--colleagues, doctors, even my patients) would tell me how low my tummy is sitting and that I won't even reach my due date etc etc. Maybe, the worse part is that I expected that I really would go early because that's what I have been hearing then I got so frustrated at 40 weeks I started crying in my room thinking, why the baby hasn't come out yet?!

sa akin sis ok lang na magcomment sila. like weeks ago nag wet market kami ni hubs and ang daming nagcomment na malaki daw, mababa na daw, mukhang manganganak na and the likes.  ayos lang sa akin yun pero yung ayoko is yung hahawakan din nila tummy ko.  its a bit strange for me na. may pagka territorial ata ako hehe.
