thanks for the tip, sis macheoc. the swelling has gone down a lot now. i put my feet up the whole day yesterday - all i did was read at home.

for strep b, i think this is a standard test. i'm not sure how it's done though. i remember seeing it on my in-laws' first birth plan. apparently my sil tested positive and she needed to have antibiotics during labor given intravenously.

for private nurse, i don't think we'll have one. my friend who gave birth in the same hospital where we're planning to give birth in didn't have one. she went through emergency cs but they were released in 3 days.

sis kiismet, congratulations on your baby girl!

sis cryz, i don't know about gelai but i'll read about it.

for contractions, i haven't felt them yet. i guess it's still too early for me. though i do drink a lot of water every day - about 3 liters plus.

sis aylatskie, is it something you feel on the lower abdomen - a crampy feeling? i feel that sometimes, too, and told my doctor about it. she says it's normal. you may want to
ask your doctor about it on your next checkup. do you go weely now?

have safe and happy pregnancies everyone!

Thank you everyone! Sana nga baby girl na talaga. Haha.

congrats sis belle_v2g :)

congrats din sis Kiiismet for your baby girl :) twice pa lang ako nakapagpaultrasound. first yung transvaginal nung 6 weeks then CAS nung 23 weeks ata. minsan during check up din, kasi yung OB ko meron syang maliit na portable ultrasound device kaya pag check up nasisilip din namin si baby.

sobrang manas na din ng paa ko.  :( im currently 33 weeks. what I do is I elevate my feet during sleep, pagkagising ko sa umaga nawawala na yung manas. kaso parang bumabalik ulit pagkahapon. kaya sa gabi elevate ulit.

35 weeks tomorrow.

sis cryz, i had to google symphisis pubis, i haven't heard of it before. it sounds very uncomfortable and painful, is there any way to manage the pain safely?

sis angel, i feel you on the food! i feel very constrained right now coz i have to cut back on ice cream and chocolates. just a few more weeks, sis, we can do this!

sis kiismet, we have an ultrasound on every doctor's visit - i have had 7 now i think, including the detailed scan/cas

sis sarahnghae, my feet look like their back to normal now after they swelled up really badly last friday. i ate munggo for 3 days straight, at almost every meal. then i kept my feet elevated when i was at home - my ankles and feet are always higher than my heart. i also worked out and walked a lot. i think all these helped to reduce the swelling. sis macheoc also suggested less salty foods - which i also did, less salt in our cooking overall.

^super sakit nga sis 120515. my OB told me iwasan ko nalang na itapak yung affected side, in my case left groin yung masakit kasama pati pubic bone. pero minsan mahirap e. i also read na pwede malessen yung pain if i put a pillow between my knees when lying on my side. the past days i find it effective but not today. siguro tiis nalang talaga muna. nice to know sis hindi ka na manas.

kiismet - ako naman sis naka 5 ultrasounds na - weeks 6, 10, 18, 29 and 32. not sure kung tuloy pa yung sa 36th week ko since last utz ko was 2 weeks ago lang.

Hello mga sis! Currently at 38 weeks.

I will have a prenatal massage mamaya, i've heard okay lang naman. :)

Sis macheoc, ive had strep b test on my 36th weeks turned negative naman kaya wala prescribed na antibiotics. Parang swab test lang ginawa saken parang papsmear. Mejo masakit bat d naman matagal.

Goodluck lahat sa atin mga sisses. Gustung gusto ko na makita c little one namin! :)

Hi mga sis! Ano ang best nipple cream? Earth Mama, Pigeon, Lansinoh or Purelan?
How about breast pads? Thanks.

Currently on 38th weeks. Had my check up this morning. Both baby and NST were okay so OB said di daw kelangan pilitin lumabas si baby. I'm having runny nose so I have to be okay until Thursday or else I will have antibiotics na which I don't like. Daanin ko muna sa tubig and calamansi juice with honey.
How's everyone doing?

Sis aylatskie, I had colds and cough last week too.  OB advised Vit. C lang as addition to my pre-natal meds.
Tama, calamansi juice and water lang ang katapat nyan. Ayoko rin mag antibiotics.

I can feel my baby growing bigger na.  Currently at 33 weeks.

Congrats to sis belle!😊

Tas in less than an hour, tapos na rin ako tahiin. Kaya nagalingan ako sa ob ko.hehe. Yuung sa pain, tolerable siya. Ngayon parang, wala na akong nafifeel na pain, although pinagtake pa din ako mefenamic, di ko sure kung makakaramdam ako ng pain without it. My mom always had to remind me na kakaopera ko lang, baka bumuka tahi ko,etc. kasi yung kilos ko bara bara nalang eh. Hehe. Kaya i know mommies, kaya niyo rin yan!

Re breastmilk, i think i have enough supply na, minsan nga nagpump ako kasi masakit na yung boobies ko(sorry TMI) dahil madami yung laman.

Hehe

Goodluck mga mommies, im excited to read your birthing stories!😊

By the way mga sis. I lost weight from 68.1 down to 66.7 within a span of 1 week. Nagulat ako, though it's been a week since I started walking for an hour every morning. Ginagawa ko na siyang routine.

Didn't realize na most of you are now almost ready to pop! Good luck sa mga nag-aantay na lang. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy :-) As for my experience, the hardest were from 35 weeks onwards. Dun naging consisteng ang backpain, hingal, and I was always tired. Yun ang pinaka-emotional state ko din, kasi siguro mixed na yung physical discomfort plus yung emotional and mental preparation sa pagdating ni baby.

Anyway, my LO is 5 weeks old now. Surprisingly, hindi ako masyadong hirap sa kanya. I suggest you maximize all the help you can get especially sa first few days kasi draining talaga sya -- less sleep, tapos kung breastfeeding ka pa ang dami ding struggles, and syempre you're still getting used to taking care of a little human. If you have your mom or in laws or your partner to help, go get their help. Pero it gets better naman. :)

Sis Which, congratulations! Are you exclusively breastfeeding? Pero my mood definitely improved. Basta it helps to give yourself a break from time to time. Ask for hugs and kisses from your partner, and let him know also kung anong nararamdaman mo.

God bless mommies! :)

Hello mga ka-batch! Ako din, di na gano nakapag-backread. Super busy the past weeks.

Uy, dami na pala nanganak sa atin! Congratulations. Lalo akong na-excite. :)

Sis Which, na-inspire naman ako sa story mo especially same hospital din ako manganganak. Anong klaseng cut ba yung sa CS mo? Sabi nila kapag vertical, mas keri kasi madali i-secure with binder. Totoo ba yun?

Question pala mga mommies. Parang ngalay or nagka-cramps.

Para halos sabay-sabay ulit tayo matuto from each other? :) Or dapat ibang thread na talaga? Sorry, medyo newbie ako sa GT. :)

wow dami na palang due soon! congratulations din to those who gave birth already. thanks for sharing your insights and tips with us simang and which is witch.

33 weeks na kami ni baby. Based on last BPS, ok si lo. However, just recently, nag panic mode ako. There are times I don't feel lo moving. Hindi naman sa wala, pero instead of the usual kicks and jabs, movements were more of like LO's changing positions. Hard to explain pero parang nagsa slide. But at night super active niya. But then again, the movements feel like nag-chachange position siya. OB explained na sumisikip na daw din kasi that's why movements are like that. Nakaka praning lang talaga minsan.

Question mga sis, when did start feeling yung "lightening"? Super madidistinguish mo ba talaga na bumababa tyan mo?

Adrienne in my case naman, below the breast, heartburn yung feeling. sabi rin ni doc nag acid reflux daw ako. mataas pa din daw kasi tyan ko and/or probably effect ng progesterone

aylatskie may times daw talaga that we lose weight. pero if biglang baba or malaki ibinaba, you can tell your doctor about it.

flippy_laddy oh i see, pinapagawa na rin sakin ni doc on my 36th week. sana ok results ko

which is witch wow ang bilis lang pala talaga ng CS no. congrats sis! :)

Re strip b test, c ob ko gumawa saken during my weekly check up then after a week yung result.

Mga sis nakakalito ang contractions, sensia na newbie ako at di gaano nagbabackread, pero i feel like i'm having one. Masakit yung lower back ko then yung bandang puson masakit for like 30seconds to one minute. Malayo naman mga interval and di madalas. So i guess not active labor.

Super likot din ni baby esp at night at naka lie on my back ako as in Siguro nag iinat si LO namin hehe, minsan ang sakit ng bawat galaw nya pero amazing yung feeling na makikita mong nagwa-wave ang tummy mo. :)

Goodluck sa atin mga mommies!
