take care, sis cryz! don't push yourself too much - although, i do totally understand the part about wanting to just move around and do stuff!

i'll be flying to manila next month and this will be my last work trip before i give birth. i'm a bit apprehensive because it's already in my third trimester and my doctor was actually hesitant about this trip. will be taking it easy while i'm there. sissies, do you have any highly recommended stores in makati cbd where i can get baby essentials - more on clothes and other linens :)

120515, sis there's a whole floor in Greenbelt 5 Makati they're all baby stuff like Mothercare, etc:) If mas less expensive baby stuff naman tawid ka lang to Landmark, Glorietta and then SM Makati department store. You'll be sure to find everything you need there!

Tama have your helper prep your baby stuff early! I put off doing a lot of things in third trimester medyo cramming tuloy ako pag nagkasabay sabay ang things to do ☺️ Have a safe trip and take it easy with work!

Sis crzy, bawal talaga mapagod! Buti nadala ng duvadilan ang contractions mo. The other day i had a once in a blue moon burst of energy, naglakad ako ng maigi sa supermarket then paguwi ko boom! daming contractions! scary akala ko i need to go to L&D! kaya alamin natin ang kaya ng katawan natin.

Ingat lang tayo girls ☺️

True sis jeannybaby, kakatakot nga. Pero grabe no, talagang pag 3rd tri pala mas mabilis talagang mapagod. Buti sis nawala rin contractions mo. :)

^i agree with this as well. Sometimes worse pa, well in my case ganun... there are nights I experience heartburn and/or acid reflux. Trying to be more careful sa food intake ko rin

My Birthing Story

19 June 2016 | 2300 hrs:
I went to the loo & had a wee before going to bed then noticed the amount was more than the usual and something just felt different. I did not pay much attention with the colour but after that, I felt bub's movement continuously for 2 hours and minimal discomfort in my lower back but still able to sleep after that.

20 June 2016 | 0845 hrs before breakfast, I went to the toilet again and noticed a brownish discharge on my underwear. I rang the Women's Health Department and spoke to the midwife. I was then asked to come over so they can have a look at me since I'm already 4 days overdue. I had my breakfast, had a good shower just in case and put my make up on lol! We arrived at 10:45 AM. I was seen around midday na, the doctor did a speculum exam to check if there's a pooling of amniotic fluid but it was negative. Another test they did is "The Amnisure ROM test" it is a new method to diagnose rupture of the fetal membranes (ROM). The test detects placental alpha-microglobulin-1 (PAMG-1) in cervicovaginal fluid. Mine was positive so they placed me in a monitor and they decided to keep me in the hospital and wait until my labour becomes full blown. If nothing happens after 24 hours, induction of labour is our next option.

After that, They transferred me to the Maternity Ward with hubby. I started to feel the onset of contractions but the intervals are 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs apart then they started to get closer. Very few lang every hour pero lengthy. The worse ones started around between 2200-2300 hrs. That was when I can no longer bear recording my contractions and already asked for a pain killer. But instead of giving me something, they transferred me to the labour room/ birthing room. Siguro they felt that I was going really quick. I was offered with nitrous oxide but it doesn't do anything. They did an IE for the first time and I was already 8cm and having an epidural is no longer an option. Baby came out on June 21st at 3:51 AM via normal unassisted vaginal delivery. I had epidural with my first child and nothing this time so everything was totally different. I think I turned into a monster while pushing the baby with matching gigil. Napapa-tagalog nako sa kakasigaw sa sakit haha but at least natatranslate ko pa so the midwife would understand. 😂

Trivia: Both my kids  have exactly the same birth weight.

congratulations sis belle! so happy to hear that you and your baby are fine and healthy! ;D

just started my third trimester at 28 weeks. my main problem is that my feet and ankles have started to swell up - i can no longer see the bones on my feet or ankles and when i push my finger into the skin, the skin turns white. i think what made it worse this week was having to stand on the train for long periods because i couldn't get a seat and the heat and humidity. so seriously putting my feet up now, climbing all the flights of stairs that i could, eating bananas and munggo, and working out. will also schedule another prenatal massage next weekend.

have safe and healthy pregnancies everyone!

Congratulations sis belle! You did it. It seems you really experienced the true labor and giving birth without any medications. Can't imagine! Hope everything is okay now with you and your baby.
Thanks sis emjey. I do hope my succeeding NST will be okay as for the last one.

Sis belle: Congrats mommy! Kudos for enduring all the pain. Worth the wait yung experience mo :)

Praying for everyone's healthy pregnancy and safe delivery :)

Haha. But will have to confirm sa OB ko.

congrats sis belle!!! Happy for you that you have a healthy delivery!  ;D at kinaya mo talaga ng walang pain killers!

sis crzy, hindi agad nawala contractions ko, pero my OB is making me drink 2-4 Liters a day and pansin ko medyo nababawasan ang contractions pag maraming fluids, pero dapat more than 2 Liters.

Kiiismet, congrats with your baby girl!  ;D

Sis Kiismet: congrats sa baby girl! Sana sure na talaga yan :)

Sis jeanny and sis crzy: same here sis dumadalas BH ko and/or longer.

It's done usually at 35-37 weeks daw. Also, is there anyone here who is considering to have a private nurse on duty? These suggestions kasi came from my cousin who is a nurse in US. Yung strep B daw needs to be checked para if positive ka you will be given antibiotics para di matransfer to baby. Yung private nurse on duty naman, to assist you and hubby sa room since wala nang nursery in most hospitals naka room in na ang baby. Di ko alam if sa mga hospitals may assigned nurse per room ba to assist you and lo or tipong nurse na nag ra rounds lang yung mag check sayo

^same here sis, kaya pag nakaramdam ako ng contractions, tingin ako agad sa oras.. tinitignan ko kasi yung intervals. re strep b test, wala pa nabanggit ob ko about this. ask ko sya sa next visit ko, sakto 35 weeks na ako noon.

Mga sis, familiar ba kayo sa gelai? Balak nyo ba gawin to after giving birth? Nakita ko lang kasi yung thread http://www.femalenetwork.com/girltalk/index.php/topic,211770.0.html

Mga sissies, ask ko lang kasi I always feel menstrual cramps na but as per my NST no contractions yet. May mga naka experience ba neto? 38 weeks na ako tomorrow.
