super lamig pa rin po ba pag mga last week ng may? any suggestions on where to go if i only had 1-2 days na free? also, i've read that credit cards are not widely accepted, with this is mind, more or less how much should i bring for  1 week stay? thanks!

^we were in Tokyo around 2nd wk of May last year - its a bit warmer in the morning and gets colder at night. 

As to how much money to bring, it depends on your eating habits and what you actually want to do/where you want to go. We ate at traditional Japanese restaurants, street food, and also bought at convenience stores - all paid in cash.  Hindi ko masabi if the food was cheaper comparing to where we came from - but I think we budgeted maybe around 3k php per day for food for 3 people. It could be even more on certain days.

^thanks sis! will be staying roughly 5 days, 3 of which will likely be in the office lang gawa ng meetings so most likely 2 free days lang ang meron ako. not sure pa if full 2 days yun, mag depend pa rin sa business needs and sa flights na makukuha ko. baka early may pa ako mag book ng flight but will apply visa by march or april.

My teenage son and me will be in Tokyo from April 13-19.

Pa-comment naman ng itinerary namin please:
13 - chill lang kasi late afternoon na ang dating namin
14 - Roaming around Tokyo (?) look for natitira pang cherry blossoms? hehe

15 - Disney Sea
16 - Ashikaga Flower Park / Odaiba?
17 - Mt Fuji
18 - Shibazakura Festival
19 - travel to Narita / go home

For 13-17, planning to stay in Asakusa. Via Inn.
For 17-19, planning to stay somewhere in Hakone, Odawara??? Wala pa akong nahahanap, actually.

Any other tips, as where to go?

Mid-April kami naka-schedule pero ni-cancel ko na with a heavy heart.    Health is wealth.

Postponed na ang Tokyo Olympics this 2020. Grabe  Ito ang biggest sign ko eh.

Kasama ang Pinas sa temporary suspension/cancellation ng visas. Actually good move na din to, para ma-avoid pa further yung spread ng Covid. Sana magstabilize na soon.

Since lockdown, I keep poring over photos of our recent trip to Japan. Pag kumalma na ang lahat and wala ng takot to travel, dito talaga kami unang babalik ni hubby.  Sana soon.
