Got our visas approved last week. Super bilis! As in we submitted our requirements in UHI ng Tuesday, they submitted them to the embassy ng Wednesday and got approved the same day. We claimed our passports ng Friday.

8 kami sa family nag apply, including my sisters and my mom. We were all given single entry visas kahit 2nd time ko na to and my sister also. In fact, my sister had ME visa nung unang beses kami pumunta. But okay lang rin naman since 7 days lang naman kami.

Re: airbnb, grabe na cancel ulit yung 2nd booking namin. We ended up booking a hotel na lang instead of airbnb kasi baka magka problem na naman considering na 2 weeks na lang lilipad na kami.

Congrats sis! Naku mag hotel na lang kayo. Nastress ako sa airbnb, mabilis naman naaksyunan nung ako dumiretso sa Cust. Service kasi gusto nang host ako mag cancel nung una.

Hello! Anyone went to Gotemba Outlet Store? Mura ba Coach? Kate Spade or MK? hehe..

Ano pa other brands na must buy kaya? Thinking if we should go there.

OR baka masuggest pa kayong other Outlet Store sa Tokyo/Sapporo na mura?

^I've never been to Gotemba but I've been to the premium outlets in Shisui (near Narita airport), Rinku (near Kansai airport) and Kobe-Sanda (hindi siya malapit sa Kobe, more than an hour away).

I've noticed that Coach and Kate Spade items are cheaper than MK when on sale at those outlets. Lagi may offer of additional discount ang Coach and the items offered are of the premium quality, hindi siya iyong for outlets only. Ganun din sa MK and Kate Spade, maayos ang items. You can also check out Rebecca Minkoff sa Shisui, maganda ang pricing nila. Iyong sneakers like Adidas, Nike, Vans, etc. okay din.

Ooh may issue na pala with AirBnb buti sumilip ako rito. Sa Agoda ako nag partial book ng matitirhan namin. 12% off with an MC cc issued in the PH. ~5900 Php yung kuha ko for 3D2N sa isang hotel sa Ueno.

Okay sa Shisui, unlike the one near Kansai airport, iyong mga items on offer sa majority ng shops hindi masyado okay but still better than the one near HK airport na parang mga 10 seasons ago.

We will apply for visa this month! Sana ma-approve.

So far, I've booked via Agoda our accommodation near Shin-Okubo. The hotel name was Tokyo Plaza Hotel. Medyo malaki yung space compared to the usual hotels, nasa 24sqm. So tingin ko sakto sa mga bagahe namin.

I've also purchased a Tokyo Skyliner transfer from Narita to Tokyo via Klook. Pag na-approve na yung Visa, saka ako buy ng entrance tickets sa mga tourist spots, pati yung unli-subway pass.

BTW, can I use the SUICA card sa Kyoto and Osaka?  Tokyo kasi ang first destination namin. Not sure if I need to buy SUICA cards in Tokyo.

SUICA also works in Kyoto and Osaka. No need to buy ICOCA (the Osaka version).

Just got back from Tokyo yesterday. Second time ko na to and it still is definitely my favorite city. We were 8 adults + 4 kids, kakapagod but super nag enjoy kami especially sa Disneyland. Super init lang -- weather was around 31 degrees I think when we were there.

Okay rin yung outlets sa Gotemba. We dropped by there on the way to Hakone to see Mt Fuji. Daming brands and sulit rin yung presyo.

For anime fans, I suggest you visit the One Piece Museum in Tokyo Tower. My husband is a fan of One Piece and enjoy na enjoy sya, ang daming magagawa sa loob.

Tsukuba Express "Asakusa Sta." / Walk 15 min.

Tokyo Metro Ginza Subway Line & Toei Asakusa Subway Line "Asakusa Sta." / Walk 15 - 17 min.

Tokyo Metro Hibiya Subway Line "Iriya Sta." / Walk 15 min.


Another option is Sakura Hostel Asakusa, shared cr nga lang Saan po mas ok magstay?

^ much better sis, along JR lines kasi pag may luggages ka yung ibang line walang elevator tapos ang daming transfer so consider din yung dami ng transfer, maybe along, shinjuku, shibuya, ginza mga ganiyan or kung may transfer ka isang transfer lang

^Nabana No Sato is near Nagoya. Haven't been to Ashikaga but super enjoyed Nabana No Sato (the light tunnel)

need your inputs po.  we will be going to tokyo and i am choosing between disneyland and disneysea. nakarating na kami ng hk disneyland. i am initially thinking disneysea na lang kasi nakapag-disneyland na. kaso kapag kinukumpara ko ang dalawa, ang rides ng disneysea e more on pang-adults o teens. 8 years old pa lang yung daughter ko.  iniisip ko baka kami lang adults ang may gusto at mag-enjoy. hehe...  what do you think po? same po ba talaga masyado ang tokyo disneyland at hk disneyland?
