Hello! Been to Japan March 2015 and malamig pa siya. Babalik kami sa Tokyo ng Halloween, hehe. Iniisip ko if malamig na ba by that time or hindi pa naman?

How's the weather in Tokyo end of November? If ever ba kailangan magdala na ng winter coat and boots?

Oh, mga 2 layers lang naman ng damit siguro no? Nung early March kasi 3 layers pa suot namin. I checked Accuweather kasi and parang Baguio na lamig lang siya, not sure if accurate though. hahaha

^sa tokyo disneysea tsaka mt.fuji 3 layers kami. Then pag sa city daytime 2 layers na lang. Bitbit ko na lang coat ko. Nung sa osaka and kyoto naghubad na akong heattech nainitan na ako eh.

^ malamig na sis around 10 C daytime and below 5 C pag night time. 3 layers kami sa gabi, 2 layers day time.

Mga sis okay ba ang Ikebukuro as our base location in Tokyo? Were booked for Japan trip on December and price for hotels and even airbnb are steep so I thought maybe were better off staying in not so touristy area like Ikebukuro or perhaps Asakusa. Although our main focus lang are places like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku and Mt.Fuji.
And will JR pass pays off if we do the Tokyo-Nagoya-Takayama-Kyoto-Osaka route? I tried computing using the calculator sample sa Japan guide and the result came out as hindi sulit.However Im thinking baka may mali sa computation ko kasi as far as I know pag long distance and maraming side trips mas sulit ang pass.Enlighten me on this pls.
Lastly pag may luggage ba and kids mas convenient yung bus in travelling to distant places like Nagoya to Kyoto kasi direct na compared sa train na may transfer.

^ sis l_neverph December rin kami and grabe nga sa mahal mga hotels kahit airbnb. If one way lang sis and hindi na kayo babalik to Tokyo I think also hindi sulit. Sulit siya if babalik ulit kayo to Tokyo. My decision sa hotels is it always has to be near a station, okay lang if medyo malayo from the center as long as malapit sa train station. Nagbook na ako sa agoda for Hotel Horidome Villa in Tokyo 3k/night included na taxes. Lagi ko kasma 5 yr old daughter ko, mas kampante ako sa train compared to bus. Once ko lang natry magbus sa kyoto. I think okay naman ang bus kailangan lang pag-aralan ang routes and bus numbers. One of the reasons why I like going back to Japan is I'm fascinated with the bullet train. So whenever we go back sinusulit talaga namin ang JR Pass.

Ano difference ng Suica and Pasmo? Ano ma sokay na kunin and saan makakabili nun? We'll be staying lang sa Tokyo for 7 days so I won't buy JR pass like what we did last time. First time namin bibili ng reloadable card so was thinking if ano bibilhin. hehe

Not sure about the suica card but we got the pasmo card and its ok naman we used it in all of our train rides. [textspeak!] change namin we used it sa family mart and sa airport.
