This was the one I took last year; ito kinuha ko kasi credit card online payment guaranteed I got a seat but konti lang ang trips per day and if you miss it, malas lang, unlike the one above mas madaming buses. I never went to Shibakazura, not my thing.

^be quick too with the reservation. Last year ang dami kong nakita na nakapila sa ticketing office sa Kawaguchiko for the festival and I remember that was the first day of it.

Ang nabasa ko lang is you can buy JR Pass prior to travel, pero pwede ba makabili in advance and via online ng one-way shinkasen ticket?  Hindi kasi namin need ng pass just a one-way ticket lang. Or it can only be bought in advance but from the stations only? Im looking for Tokaido Shinkasen line.

Done with our sg trip, planning to go to tokyo naman next year and as early as now nagchecheck na ako ng hotels kasi peak season yung target date ko..hirap pala makahanap ng hotel that can accomodate 2 adults and 2 kids..7 and 4 yo sila by then..any suggestions? shinjuku or shibuya area, near the station and airport limousine bus stn sana para convenient for the kids...budget is less than 15k per night po

Hindi ko pala na share previous tokyo trip ko though I was there for a conference, share ko na lang din.

Day 0 - etd 2am through All Nippon Airways. Around  or 7 am arrival. Checked in to Arrieta Hotel hindi ko lang ma recall kung near shinjuku station siya. Comfortable and nice place. Madami kainan around the area and I must say, walang tapon sa mga nakainan amin doon. Guess they really do value the quality of their foods. Stroll around the area. Went to shibuya and akihabara. Akihabara is stunning at night! And super linis ng tokyo! Feeling ko buong japan anon din.

Day 1 - tokyo disney sea. Lunch here, dinner not so famous ramen stall pero superb pa din!
Day 2 - lake kawaguchi, mt fuji. Lunch and dinner dito na
Day 3 - odaiba, tokyo tower, diver city, outlets at ginza, tokyo metropolitan building, lunch anywhere lang but dinner at Gonpachi (kill bill).
Day 4 - checked in at shinagawa prince hotel for conference. Akihabara at night again.
Day 5 - conference day 2. Shinjuku again at night.
Day 6 - conference day 3. Shibuya again at night.
Day 7 - conference 4. I forgot the place para siyang divisoria haha!
Day 8 - back to manila PAL.

Ang sarap bumalik dito hindi ako magsasawa. Pero hindi naman ako yayamanin so hindi ko muna uulitin ang tokyo. Next time would be osaka and kyoto, sapporo winter festival. Kung babalik ako kyoto maybe for cherry blossoms festival since when it comes to sakura, nothing compares daw to japan. And growing up, sa mga anime, eto talaga ang ni look up ko pagdting sa sakura. Korea would be for autumn.

Ang linis, super sarap ng food even in convenient stores. They seem so busy talaga kaya siguro mahalaga din for them na maayos yung nabibili nila sa labas kasi no time to prep and cook na. Language barrier but they are so hospitable and accommodating. Just show them your query and they'll grab you and direct you to the right way kasi they are not good with english nga. Nakakabilib yung discipline nila. Kung ganon sa pilipinas at hindi uro reklamo madidinig mo, baka umunlad din tayo tulad nila.

By the way, i was so ecstatic to try pablo and super sarap cheesy! To my disappointment, when i tried Pablo here in pinas weeks after i got back, wala ako malasahan na cheese. Hindi ko tuloy maintindihan ang rave dito. Kung yung pablo sa japan masarap talaga. Pero Pablo here is boo!

ok na ba ito mt fuji tour van ang gagamitin may ari airbnb  50000 yen 7adults 4kids 1 senior 1 infant kami . tapos city tour 30000 yen pag daw within tokyo whole say na yun  ? tapos from house to disney rountrip 10000 yen then fr airport to house 20000yen per way ?

^okay iyong sa airport and Disney, hindi naman kalakihan ang difference compared to public transport (I never took a rental van but base ko lang sa train and taxi). Sa Mt Fuji and whole day Tokyo parang more than 10000 yen ang difference compared to the bus and train pero I would still take the van kasi 4 kids, 1 infant and 1 senior; mahirap din kasi maglakad and maghintay for them and iwas stress na din.

thanks sis sa reply feeling ko nga ok na din kasi dami namin bata tapos puro first timer lang . actually di ko pa nga naplan whole lakad namin . ito tentative namin .pacomment naman sa mga sis pwede idagdag . sa 13 naming magkakasama 6jan anak ko kaya ngayon pa lang stress na .
yung sa immigration ba na fillupan parang may red pa rin kumuha kasi ako last yr ng march para nakaready na  no need to fill up sa airport ?

^Legoland in Odaiba; avoid weekends or go early in the morning. Book and pay online. My nieces (2 and 7 years) loved it pero ang shop nila mahal. The 7 year old ayaw ng Disney kasi last year puro lakad and pila sila maski weekday. Maliit lang naman kaya hindi nakakapagod. Madam Tussauds is next door, and the Odaiba area itself is family-friendly. Hakuhinkan Toy Park in Shimbashi, Kiddyland in Omotesando and Tokyo Station character shops for toys.

If possible, relax lang Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Nabigla ako sa dami ng tao in Ginza last Friday and Harajuku 2 Sundays ago, para akong nasa Shibuya sa dami ng tao.

We're actually planning to stay in Chiba (hubby's relative) but contemplating not to anymore. First thing, it will take us 1 hour to Tokyo and vice versa which is time consuming. Secondly, I've computed yung magagastos namen sa fare and it will cost us roughly 7k each for those 6 days that we'll go to city. So 28k rin yun, and I think makakahanap kame ng Airbnb sa city with the same price or lower and hindi pa time consuming. Tama naman po ako diba?

Here's our itinerary. Light lang pala since may toddler kameng kasama and ayaw namin na Amazing Race tong trip. Treasure each moment kumbaga, hehe!


Day 1 October 13 Friday - Akihabara, Yodobashi, Imperial Palace and East Gardens/Hama Rikyu, Pokemon Mega Center
Day 2 October 14 Saturday - Lake Kawaguchiko/Fuji Q Highland
Day 3 October 15 Sunday - Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, Pokemon Mega Center
Day 4 October 16 Monday - Disneyland
Day 5 October 17 Tuesday - Asakusa/Sensoji Temple, Ueno Park, Tokyo Tower
Day 6 October 18 Wednesday - Ramen Museum in Yokohama/Pokemon Mega Center, 230 PM en route to Narita Airport

Yung Pokemon Mega Center a must talaga para sa bf ng sister ko lol. Di ko lang sure pa saang araw ko ilalagay kaya may mga possible days ako na pinaglagyan. Ano kayang araw ko isisingit sa tingin nyo?

Day 1 baka sa Akihabara lang talaga kame dahil sa 2 boys naming kasama. Super haba kaya ng time namin dun given that after lunch pa kame magsisimula? Pwede pa kaya maisingit yung Imperial Palace and East Gardens before going there or sa Day 6 morning na lang? Di pa kase ako sure if may foliage na sa Tokyo by that time, and if meron nga ang saya pumunta sa mga garden for photo ops lol.

Sa Day 2 po namin pwede kaya puntahan both, or stick na lang kame sa Fuji Q Highland? Kame lang ng sister ko ang balak mag-rides dun. Meron namang entrance fee lang ang babayaran but I just don't get yung 1 day free pass ticket. Ride all you can na ba yun plus entrance na all in all? Or if sa Lake Kawaguchiko lang may activities po ba dun?

Would it make a difference if I interchange Day 4 and Day 5? Concerned lang ako sa dami ng tao nun sa Disneyland hehe!

Sorry if madami akong questions, first time po kasi namen sa Japan except hubby na nagbabakasyon lagi dun pero nung elementary days pa hehe! Will research na lang muna about sa transportation kung anong card need kunin and if may questions po ulit ako, will post na lang here ulit.

Day 1 October 13 Friday - Akihabara, Yodobashi, Imperial Palace and East Gardens/Hama Rikyu, Pokemon Mega Center

Hama Rikyu - there's a ferry from Asakusa, puwede siguro sa Day 5.

Yodobashi Camera in Akiba opens at 9:30AM, better go there before lunch. The boys can easily spend 3 hours in the store alone kasi madami makikita. Nandun pa ang ibang shops like Mandarake, and mga 6 levels or more ang shops doon. Kakapagod din. Puwede niyo na maisingit ang Imperial Palace and East Gardens if you limit yourselves to just one or two shops.

Day 3 October 15 Sunday - Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, Pokemon Mega Center

Sunday, puwede pero nakakapagod baka wala na kayo energy for Disneyland. Kung Hachiko and Shibuya crossing lang kayo, no shopping or walking in Shibuya puwede siguro lahat. Harajuku for the Meiji Garden ba? Start early in the morning, I think it opens before 8AM. Harajuku is a nightmare on a Sunday afternoon. You won't be able to get tables for a sit down meal in a restaurant unless you're willing to line up for hours. Options niyo lang to eat is on the sidewalk for the kebabs (shawarma) or convenience stores. Trains are also full, umbrella stroller dapat, kasi konti lang elevators and escalators.

Sa Day 2 po namin pwede kaya puntahan both, or stick na lang kame sa Fuji Q Highland?

I've never been to Fuji-Q Highland, sa Kawaguchiko area near the station lang. Mt Kachi-Kachi ropeway is good, and walking distance lang ang lake from the station. Maybe a full day na relaxed puwede. Meron din buses that will take you to the other tourist spots.

On Day 2 kase para lang makita si Mt. Fuji. Kung malapit lang Lake Kawaguchiko sa Fuji-Q I guess we'll do both na lang.

Sa Day 3 naman I think di naman kame walk or shop to the max hehe! We'd like to go to Harajuku on a Sunday para sa cosplay and foodtrip na rin. Siguro sa hapon na lang kame punta dito.

Thinking of Day 5 na lang Disneyland pero baka mashado kame mapagod for our flight back to Manila the next day. What do you think?

^^^ I only saw 3 persons on their cosplay costumes 2 Sundays ago in Harajuku; one was a male person in a Little Bo Peep costume, the works; the other 2 naman hindi gaano kaganda suot. Hindi na yata talaga ganun kadami or wrong timing lang kami.
