Hours: North Deck: 9:30 to 23:00
South Deck: 9:30 to 17:30 (until 23:00 when North Deck is closed)
Closed: December 29 to January 3 except January 1
North Deck: 2nd and 4th Mondays each month
South Deck: 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month
Admission: Free
Deck Height: 202 meters (45th floor)
Completed in 1991 in Shinjuku's skyscraper district, the 243 meter tall Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (Tocho) houses two observation decks, one in each of its towers. The free observation decks are located on the 45th floor of their respective towers and offer views from 202 meters above the ground. From the Tocho it is possible to see Meiji Jingu, Tokyo Tower, the Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji.

^sis, would you know saan sa Tokyo makakabili ng murang mga Casio G-shock watches at Onitsuka Tiger sneakers? Meron bang malapit sa Shibuya or Shinjuku area? Thanks!

sis travelling_daisy, we got our Baby G watches and G-shock in a store near Otsuka Station. I forgot the name of the building but it's one whole building selling used luxury items. Then one of the floors sells branded watches including casio and G shock. Kakatuwa half the price ang watch nila dun. It ranges from Php3500-4000. When we came back from out trip yung Baby G watch ko was around 6k sa mga malls, while kay hubby it was around 7-8k pesos. I'll try to ask hubby if marecall niya name ng store. For Onitsuka I saw they had a boutique shop at Narita airport. Yung common model ng shoes na madalas ko makita white with the stripes nasa 3500 sayang nga hindi ko pa binili.

Sorry sis travelling_daisy, I've asked around and they all say it's the same price. Onitsuka is not so popular in Japan na raw

^^Yes meron Suica and Pasmo sa airports. I got the Pasmo pass in Haneda airport, 3000 yen for adults. For kids, we went to the ticket machine sa Keikyu line to buy the child's pass, press the child option, then may window na biglang bubukas, staff member titignan passport, then ibibigay nila ang pass with the child's name on it.

i don't know if I still have enough time to check and read back all the posts here.  I'm scheduled for a Tokyo trip (8 weeks) sa 14 and wala pa ko kamalay malay what to bring, how much money to bring etc.  Accomodation and flight is shouldered by my company.  Allowance ko ang iniisip ko, considering how expensive it is

Anticipated ko lang is to hunt for G-Shock or Baby-G watch tska Japanese supplements

We'll be staying in an airbnb accommodation, and im thinking of bringing rice with us, has anyone brought rice to japan? Do i still have to declare it?

^^I think you have to declare rice, subject to quarantine. Please correct me if I'm wrong. http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng/arrange/essential/pdf/customs_declaration.pdf But masarap ang japanese rice and hindi naman mahal, matagal din kumilos ang customs officers doon; bili ka na lang sa Japan less hassle pa.

Nagcheck ko ng Map ng train ng Japan, parang nahilo naman ako. Feeling ko maliligaw na ko agad.  May app ba o website na pwede ko icheck para alam ko way namin from hotel to tourist spot and vice versa. Yung may fare din sana para macompute ko kung Suica o Pasmo o yung Tokunai pass ang kukunin namin. ( 1 day) JPY750 adult and JPY370 children.

Ano pala weather sa Japan pag last week of May, mala Baguio ba o mainit na rin?

^www.hyperdia.com for fares, trains, etc. Google maps helpful din. Waygo, Google Chrome with translator, Tokyo metro has an app too, not sure about JR hopefully meron din. Tokyo Taxi, Uber. From experience Suica/Pasmo to give you flexibility.

sis michi247, we downloaded the Japan Travel app by Navitime. SUPER helpful nya kase we just input our location>destination tapos magbibigay sya ng route suggestions. kasama pa yung trip duration, schedule ng train, ticket fare pati ilang transfer/changes if needed. available sya for ios & android.
