Andito na kami now sa HK. Dumating kami kagabi umaambon na.

Cosmic kami nagsstay and so far, so-so lang for me and my husband. Best bet pa rin si GC.
Ang funny lang ng anak ko, sabi niya "Mom, I have a funny feeling about this place." Eh andun pa lang kami sa pila ng elevator sa ground. 😂

Today, makulimlim kaya cancelled na Repulse Bay namin. Ayun, pumunta na kami sa  New Town Phase 3 Sha Tin para sa Smiggle. Andun na din kasi sa vicinity si Ikea.
Grabe! Biglang bumuhos ang ulan ng bongga nung asa Ikea na kami! Mga 3 hours din kami nagstay dun haha!

Tomorrow, DL naman na biglaan. Hopefully, magcooperate ang weather 😊

My turn to share our HK Trip, April 11 to April 15, 2017 naman kami mga sis.

Airline: Philippine Airlines, mas maganda pa din talaga ang PAL kesa sa CebuPac, sarap ng food.

Weather:  Malamig pa rin, minsan mainit, depende eh, tapos umulan nung April 12. Accurate naman ang kanilang weather forecast, so check ninyo agad a few days before ng punta ninyo para madala ninyo ang appropriate clothes and things.

Money: Nagpapapalit na ako agad ng HK dollars dito sa atin, pambayad ng attraction tickets, food and transpo, although nagdala na lang ako ng extrang pesos (hindi na namin nagamit), atleast eh hindi na kami naghanap pa ng money changer.

Transpo:  DIY, nag MTR lang kami all through out the trip, very efficient naman ang MTR nila. From the airport, nag airport express kami tapos free shuttle bus to BP international. Sa pag uwi ng Pilipinas, eh nag taxi na kami papuntang airport, nagastos namin eh $HK284 sa taxi, may bayad din kasi ang 3 baggage namin.


Attraction Tickets: Sa Golden Crown Hotel kami bumili ng tickets for Disneyland, Ocean Park and 3in 1 combo ng The peak (w/ Tram ride, Madame Taussuds and Sky Terrace) ang binayaran naming discounted tickets for 6 adults and 1 child eh total of $HK7,100, something, kalimutan ko ang exact. Malaki na din natipid namin, and hindi naman kami nahirapan mahanap ang Golden crown.


April 11

- Nag check in kami sa BP international Hotel, two rooms for $HK14,700, isang family room and isang deluxe room, masikip yung family room kasi double deck ang kama, pero ang nagustuhan ko sa BP International eh yung breakfast buffet nila, masarap, and madami choices, tapos malapit sila sa Jordan station ng MTR, mga tatlong kanto ang layo.

Katapat din ng BP International ang 7-Eleven, Wellcome, at Cafe de Coral.

Hotel TIP: Maganda din ang Shamrock Hotel, as in katabi ng Jordan Station. Ang Golden Crown Hotel naman na pinuntahan lang namin to buy attraction tickets, eh ang hindi ko lang nagustuhan eh super sikip ng elevator, parang hindi kami makahinga. HIndi ko naman napasok ang mga rooms.

-Nag gala kami sa Mongkok, ikot ikot lang.



April 12

- Went to Disneyland, maganda kasi makulimlim kaya hindi kami nainitan. Kaso lang bandang 3:30 pm, super lakas ng ulan, kaya ang mga tao nag pasukan sa souvenir shop. Uuwi na sana kami, kaso tumigil din ang ulan. Kagandahan lang eh madami ng umuwi, kaya after ng ulan eh hindi na kami nahirapan sa mga rides.

- Natuloy pa din ang Night parade, and fireworks, so kahit umulan eh naging happy pa din kami hehe.

-Buti na lang nagdala ako ng mga foldable umbrella at mga kapote for my kids, at least hindi sila nagkasakit kahit umulan ng malakas.

- Mahal ang mga food, as in mahal lahat hahaha.


April 13

- Ocean Park naman kami, buti hindi na umulan. Nakakapagod sa sobrang laki hahaha.


April 14:

- Pumunta kami sa The peak, sumakay kami ng Peak Tram 2 way, umaga kami nagpunta kaya wala pang masyadong tao. Na enjoy naman namin ang wax museum at sky terrace.

TIP: Magdala kayo ng eye shades, nakakasilaw ang sikat ng araw sa The Peak sky terrace, sakit sa mata, kaya wala kaming matinong picture hahaha.

- Tapos ikot ikot lang kami sa Nathan Road, nag window shopping.


April 15:

- Flight na namin pabalik.


Overall, super na enjoy namin ang HK, thank you mga sis sa lahat ng shares ninyo.

^hi sis. Ask ko Lang Kung Anong updated rate Ng DL at OP sa Golden.  Meron ba sila nung DL with food?

Mas mura kapag nagreserve online:

DL is HK$510 (adult) and HK$375 (child up to 11yo)
OP naman is HK$325 (adult) then HK$170 (child up to 11yo)

^^May website sila sis, google mo lang. May english translation. Doon mo makikita sa website nila yung mga offers nila, plus kung paano mag reserve ng order online para may discount hindi mo naman need bayaran agad.

Parang wala silang DL with food. Hindi ko napansin.

Ang nakita kong may food eh ang Klook.

may narentahan ba ng stroller sa disney? ayaw na kasi magbitbit ni hubby ng stroller baka daw may marentahan dun..

Going to HK for a conference next week, pero Sat andun na ako. Will be staying in Sha Tin, hindi pa ako nakakaratin dun, Tsim Sha Tsui lang ako before. But I read dito na may Smiggle pala, tapos Fjallraven. Hehe. Okay na rin! Excited to shop! Hehe.

I wonder how the weather is now? I hope hindi siya mainit kagaya dito.

Any feedback on Royal Park Hotel. Its located in Pak Hok Ting Street, Shatin, Hong Kong. Accessible ba yun in going to other attractions like Disneyland, Ocean Park, etc ? I have 3 kids with me. Mukhang spacious ang rooms and okay yung hotel based on reviews sa tripadvisor. And reasonably priced din.  Im just not sure about the location if okay. Usually kasi along Nathan Road yung nakikita ko na accesible daw.

Usually sa Nathan Road lang kami nagsstay pag nasa HK.
From Sha Tin, parang tatlong lipat ka ng train bago umabot sa Disneyland or Ocean Park.

Download mo sis yung MTR Mobile app. Very useful siya kasi pwede mo input starting station at destination mo. Ibibigay sayo fastest route and estimated time.

Yung Smiggle, nasa new part ng mall yun, Phase 3. Medyo mahaba lakad from the middle area ng mall. Mas gusto ko stocks dito kesa sa Times Square branch nila.

^^Shatin is faaaaaaaaaaaar. Almost an hour yan away from TST (so more or less +30 minutes pa to Disneyland), wala rin nagagawa diyan except may 1 mall na malaki, plus Ikea and the 10000 buddha monestary. Parang residential area siya. Don't stay there

Sad. Mukha pa namang nice yung hotel and yet affordable. Thanks for the feedback sis. Hanap ako uli. How about Harbour Grand Kowloon in Tak Fung Street, whampoa Garden, Hunghom, Kowloon. Accessible ba yun?

Thanks sis charlieboo! Wow, looks like I can spend my first and only free day there. I definitely need a break from work bago 'yung conference. If it's a big mall, mukhang marami ring brands! Excited na ako. Lol.

I booked Regal Riverside pala. It's one of the partner hotels for the event eh. Initially didn't want to stay in Sha Tin because malayo from TST, pero since I opt to chill this time (was also in HK for work last December), okay na rin.

Hi girls! Can you recommend any place where we can stay sa hk? We're doing a budget trip. Any place is ok basta malapit sa metro/train. We'll be there by July. So we are trying to find a good accommodation yung kahit budget hotel basta ok since most of the time eh nasa labas naman kami. TIA.

Hi sisses! What is the weather like during 3rd-4th week of December? Yun lang kasi company vacation ko aside from the whole week of holy week which I dont like kasi I've read here na mainit na daw sa hk. Anong months ba yung hindi umuulan pero di rin naman mainit? Yung like medyo malamig yung hangin pero may araw pa rin? hehe

Holy week? I don't think it's bad. Was in HK April 22-26. Ang lamig! Ang cool ng weather, pero umuulan din minsan! And when it rains, it's SO COLD! Hehe.

I would think December malamig na, pero not too cold sa 1st week. Andun din ako Nov 30 to Dec 4 of last year, yun hindi masyado malamig.

I stayed at Regal Riverside in Shatin. Sobrang walang ganap. Ang layo pa ng mall! Hehe.
