hi mga sisses. mahigpit ba sila sa hkd currency? i exchanged 2000 hkd dated 2003 and 2006. tried to search in google yung mga valid bank note dates but can't find so not sure if these are still in circulation.

Madami kami 9 kami 8 adults 2 dun senior na and 1 2yrs old. 1st time namin lahat so how much kaya budget for that including pocket money and food? Mag diy ba kami or package tour? Zero knowledge kami sa hk. If package kami baka may alam kayo na agency na mura. Tia

San ka na nakuha ng accommodation on your HK trip? U may try to check with cosmic guesthouse, merryland guesthouse, and pearl guesthouse in Mirador Mansion. One building away lang ang Mirador Mansion sa Goldencrown Guesthouse.

Regarding HKD, nagpapapalit ako from peso to HKD depende if how much need ko like for octopus card, accommodation, and l attractions, the rest sa HK na ko nagpapapalit since di naman malaki difference.

^^ sa mga remittance and money changes inside mirador and chungking mansions ok ang palitan ng pesos to hongkong dollars. di nalalayo ang rates nila dito sa atin. wag ka magpapapalit sa mga stand-alone changers along the road. nasa 7-point-something ang hongkong dollar to a peso.

i stayed at park guest house at haiphong mansion, tatawid lang nag nathan road coming from golden crown. almost the same rate sila with golden crown. the room given to me was maaliwalas, may window sa room and sa CR

Hi sis! 12 kami dati pumunta ng HK. 9 adults and 3 kids. Lumalabas 14k per head yung adults and 6k per kid. DIY lang kami. For tickets ng Disney at Ocean Park, try to check out klook.com. Super makakamura ka sa tickets.  Natry ko na kasi dati magpackage and yung ibang pinuntahan walang kwenta. Sayang sa time.

the chungking mansion is a rundown place with a lot of tambays and touts. not a good environment kung may kasama kang mga bata, especially kung gabi na kayo makakauwi from your pamamasyal. i saw how it looked like in the morning and at night. pero kung mga adults lang kayo, keri lang.

haba daw ng pila sa elevator. pero kung maganda naman yung unit/room na nakuha nyo, ok na rin yan  basta super ingat lang sa mga gamit nyo

^ I agree sis. Nagstay kami dati sa katabi nun. Yung Imperial Hotel. Medyo makukulit yung mga tambay dun na nagooffer ng tours.

^i have a teammate who stayed in one of the hostels in chungking mansion and not to exag his story pero according to him (puro guys sila na magkakasama), feeling daw nila is hindi na sila makakalabas ng safe. Hehe! I also tried to check chungking on my last HK trip last year, di ko kinaya sa ground floor pa lang, ang dilim and ang daming medyo nakakatakot na peeps (sorry, no intention to offend) kaya i end up exploring na lang yung basement nila na puro sports items tinda plus yung sikat na resto with sikat na HK french toast.

Naku mga sis @omneecka and puggy619 super thank you sa mga tips! I got hold of the Park guesthouse buti may room pa! So dun na kami sa first night. Nagpapalit ako sa Sanry's 6.35 un palitan nila today. Bukas na yung trip namin! Any tips sa mga murang kainan sa Tsim Sha tsui? First time ng parents at kapatid ko. Excited na kame!!

^^agree with cafe de coral, sarap food nila and so far sila ang cheapest among decent restos in HK. hehe! Just be mindful that after ordering and paying, go to the area where food are being prepared and give your number stab. Dito kami naging ewan nung first time namin. Upo kasi kami agad tapos hintay ng order. Buti na lang katapat naming table is mga pinoy and inexplain samin ang process. Hehe! Also, try their fastfood din like yoshinoya and burger king. Mas masarap and mura for me ang yoshinoya and BK sa HK. hehe!

Medyo same tayo ng ITI sis the_dreamer. But 2 seniors ang kasama ko. tee hee!.

Okay na ba tong ITI namin sis, by feb 26 to march 2 2017. Sa Golden Crown nalang kami magstay since recommended na budget hostel dito sa gc. And also, I can't find na sa klook yung DL tix nila with meal.  Yung macau trip namin I'm still thinking kasi baka magahol sa oras. But if kaya ng tawid kami sa macau.
