MRI - where and how much

Hi girls (and guys!), tried using search to see if may ganito nang thread pero parang wala pa (CT scan and lower back thread meron though). Hope it's okay to start a new thread, admin.

Been experiencing pain sa hip joint; won't go away pero wala naman sa x-ray, so bago ako i-refer for PT, gusto ni doc ay pa-MRI ko muna.

Anyone know of good centers na may MRI, and how much ang range? Meron kasi malapit sa office/bahay, iScan - if may feedback kayo will appreciate it.

Inquired a few centers na rin... As of April 7 2016:

Left hip (plain)
NKTI - approx. 9,000; 3T accdg to website (Mondays to Saturdays)
iScan - 7,050; 1.5T accdg to website (Everyday)
TMC - 11,900; 1.5T (Everyday)
Delos Santos - 7,784; 1.5T (Everyday)

Pinag-iisipan ko na lang between NKTI or iScan. iScan kasi same naman pala na 1.5T lang sa TMC and Delos Santos, tapos mas mura pa doon. But considering NKTI kasi 3T na pala, kaso walang Sunday.

if meron ka health card, inquire mo kung covered ang MRI. sakin kasi covered kaya wala akong binayaran including the pre-consultations. sa medical city main ako. right knee naman sakin, it costs around 12,000.00

Covered ba ng Intellicare yung MRI lower back spine sa st lukes? Ito pinakamalapit sa akin.

Kung yung pain galing sa loob ng katawan meaning meron ka problem sa kidney eh yung lower back pain mo eh refered pain. Try mo kay dr tan sa ongpin st fu yun mansion magaling sya kaso tiyagain mo magboil ng herbs. Wag yung tablets.

Pero pag outside yun pain meaning hindi sa internal organs. Kung sa spinal cord, nerves eh better go to dr joey li of accupressure yupeng magnetich sa annapolis greenhills richbelt tower.

Magaling ito dalawa doctor na Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Kaysa gastos ka pa MRI dumirecho ka na lang sa dalawa binanggit ko dr.

Ako nagpa 2d echo dahil sa palpitation eh normal naman. Pero yung TCM doctor nafeel nila yung palpitation ko kahit hindi ko pa sinasabi. Hindi perfect ang western medicine. Baka pag nagpa MRI ka eh  meron lang makita eh isuggest agad operation. Be careful sa western dr na opera agad ang solution.

Ang mahal talaga ng MRI dito sa atin, naalala ko last year si hubby had his back MRI in Malaysia nasa 7k lang (equivalent in PhP, in a tertiary decent hospital) at nainterpret result within the day

Hi, sis! I know that this thread is almost a year old, but I'm just wondering if nakapagpa-MRI ka na and ano daw cause ng hip pain mo? I had my MRI done nung Friday (today is Sunday) and results were ready yesterday pero sa Wed pa mare-read ng Orthopedic doctor ko. It is a suspected hip labral tear. I am praying na hindi.

Walang lumabas sa MRI ko, frustrating. I have a hunch na hindi nakita 'yung tear kasi walang dye. Did PT, and even had nerve tests pero normal lahat and almost a year later, there's still some pain kapag kunwari mag-de-kwatro ako. Been to busy to go back to the doctor and tinamad na kasi hindi naman nag-work PT even if I followed instructions.

According to my friends most accurate at best mri ay nasa Cardinal Santos Medical Center MRI Center
