Duterte will be in the hot seat in the upcoming debate.. i hope he remains cool and collected and straight to the point. they cannot find fault elsewhere but his dirty mouth.. No dirty governance, no corruption issues, no mismanagement issues.. he has nothing to lose at this point because he now knows that he has stricken a nerve in all Filipinos.. we hate him but we love him just the same.. he has his beloved Davao City, which is his legacy if the people don't elect him this May 9, 2016.

so i pray that our fellow Filipinos wake up from this sad status quo and fight the system.. lets fight for a good and just government. No to corruption, no to the oligarchs and no to status quo.. its starts in all of us.. no savior / messiah complex just a good and steadfast leader who will encourage everyone to stop the same old practices and start anew to help our country go to a better place.. =)

Rodrigo Duterte is my Hero!!!
Yup you heard it right!
I am the living proof why I call him hero… I was one of the 13 hostages at Dapecol Penal Colony on April 2, 1989. There’s an organization called VIPS(Volunteer in Prison Service) which my father is a part of it who hosted the singing contest program for inmates that day. As a family we support and get involved. I (13 y.o.) and my older sister were there to watch the show.

Everything seems calm and having fun that afternoon. A couple of contestant was called by the emcee, one inmate suddenly grabbed her and pointed his sharp knife on her neck and shouted ”Hostage ito!” Everybody was in disbelief.

As I was sitting down and checking around I've noticed that each inmates grabbing civilians as their shields.

They were trying to make their way out and demanded to the officer to open the gate. I saw my father struggling on the floor trying to disarm the hostage taker and finally he did. Suddenly someone had pulled me, pointed the knife on me to move closer to the gate. There was a lot of tension that afternoon. The hostage taker shouted that if nobody will open the gate somebody will get hurt.

They also demanded transportation which they were given, so as we were driving away heading to where was unknown!!!

I’ve seen the police, army and I guess then was government officials. Most of all Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who never left us following all the way through, who even asked to trade himself to the hostage takers to take him instead for our release.

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte convinced them to drive back to Davao City so they can talked about their demands, but the inmates doesn't like the idea.

So what Mayor Rody Duterte did, he joined us to make sure we are all safe. THIS ACT OF KINDNESS AND BRAVERY WAS REALLY AMAZING!!!

At this time we are at Compostela Valley already which was quite far and I realized it’s Day 2 of the hostage taking.

Inside the bus Mayor Rodrigo Duterte did not stop talking and convincing the inmates to go back to Davao City where they can negotiate their demands, which was after long hour of pleading they had finally agreed. On the way to Davao City Hall, the leader of the hostage takers named Pugoy asked the Mayor if he can have his shoes and so Mayor Duterte gave it to him. By the time we arrived at Davao City Hall it was already evening , when we were inside the city hall we had our dinner and some of the inmates surrendered already including the one who hostage me. I thought I was free however the leader Pugoy released his hostage and took me instead. We moved to a small office room where he started to make more demands . On the 3rd day and finally they settled Pugoy’s demands and surrender himself.

So all of us 13 hostages was released unharmed and alive because of Mayor Rody Duterte's bravery and perseverance in convincing the hostage taker that he can be trusted with their demands.

I am a living proof that Mayor Rody Duterte is the President that we need!

To other candidates - just campaign na di naninira sa ibang kandidato.  Pwede ba?

I'm so excited for the last debate(sana hindi bias ang ABS)..Sana huwag lang umandar yung pagkabipolar ni madam at nang hindi si Duterte ang ididiin niya about the Rape joke...There's actually another side of the story kung sino talaga ang tunay na hero that day..Isa lang pulis but anyways wala naman ako doon at hindi ko nakita yung scenario so focus nalang muna ako sa mga naririnig ko coming from his mouth..This last debate will somehow help us to determine kung may maiboboto ba kami this coming election for President o wala..I just hope that Duterte will be able to justify himself from what he has said or done. For sure, fofocus yang sa mga katunggali niya especially Mar and Binay sa Rape joke na yan considering top 1 siya sa mga surveys ngayon at sa mga absentee voters..at marami ding mga nag eencourage na mga grupo na umatras na sa pagvote sa kanya(heard it from the news today).

Nakakainis mga tao posting and sharing links as to how bad duterte can be for the country. Why can't they just reasearch something good about their candidates at yun ang ishare. Ah kasi nga naman wala. Tsk tsk. Kaya puro paninira nalang kay duterte.

Having failed to stop the momentum of ‪#‎TunayNaPagbabago‬ by their black propaganda, they now want to buy the media. No price limit. Where do you think these people are getting their money? Makati's ill-gotten wealth, Yolanda Donations, Napoles PDAF and Abad's DAP and BUB. Oh wow, now I believe the Philippines is a rich country pretending to be poor.

Makukulong yang kalbong bakla na yan..Remember what he did to Corona..Impeach agad by giving bonuses to the Senators..di ba galit na galit si Cayetano noon kasi 500,00 lang natanggap niya samantala yung iba milyones..Tapos pinapalabas na DAP daw yun hindi suhol..Doon naman ako bumilib ni Miriam and Bongbong kasi hindi sila tumanggap kasi naman hindi sila nagvote na iimpeach si Corona..

I am praying that Duterte will win. Sana this debate, he will outshine his rivals. He is really good siguro if he wins, he will get a good interpreter or spokesperson. Kasi I know the feeling na hirap sa Tagalog since most of my friends na Visaya are having a hard time speaking Tagalog.

Naghahamon si Binay ng medical test to check if all candidates daw eh physically fit... Duh? Eh sya mismo rin maysakit. Di lang ginagawang public knowledge yung sakit nya.

I never defend any politician in my entire life, ngayon lang at si Duterte yon.. not because nakikigaya pero I did my research about him and what he did in Davao and would love the whole Philippines to experience the right service from the government that we should be enjoyinh kung hindi lang yan kurakot ng iilang pamilya na nakikinabang like cojuanco

^True sis, ako din never akong nag follow ng isang kandidato ngayon Lang talaga kasi napabilib talaga ako ni Duterte sa pagiging totoo Nya. Feeling ko mananalo sya kasi just like what happen to ERAP (I did not vote for him though) landslide Kaya Hindi nadaya. Ang worry ko Lang ngayon is yun kwento ng kaibigan ko who knows so many things, ang Pilipinas daw ay under the control of US Kaya walang puedeng umupo na Presidente Kung di nila bet, if ever manalo just like ERAP and MAGSAYSAY na parehas maka MASA they make a way para mawala sa pwesto. Kaya ang lakas ni Duterte part from his track record eh yung puso Nya na para sa mga mahihirap at naaapi. Kaya I really hope Hindi Ito mangyari.

I really hope Duterte doesn't let all these attacks get to him. Instead take this as a compliment and make him even more confident. Wala silang mabato kasi sa kanya, kaya super take advantage kapag may nasasabing hindi maganda si Duterte.

super bratinella: if i really had to choose among a really sad group of candidates, i would pick miriam as the least of all evil. mar & duterte would be on equal footing with mar slightly edging out duterte on the basis of duterte's tendency towards dictatorship.

duterte is all over social media. hindi man siya nabibigyan ng airtime ng mainstream media sobra sobra naman sa social media. every word that comes out from his mouth ginagawang headline. ano ba? takot na takot sila na siya ang manalo. i can't wait for him to win. for sure tapos na ang pagha-hari-harian ng mga oligarchs.

akala nila the rape issue will break him, that he will lose his supporters but on the contrary. lalo lang nag alab ang mga supporters niya because of his heroism.

with the kidapawan shooting, laglag bala, brownout in naia, constant breakdown of mrt, comelec failure to secure voters data, duterte can just sit back. the administration is on self destruct. pinapa kita lang nila how incompetent the people in government are.

sana lang walang dayaan na mangyari sa election. looking forward to this sunday's debate. kaya lang bias ang abs-cbn e. maka mar or poe sila.

I couldn't agree more that LP is in self-destructing mode now.  But the only 3 candidates that are gaining advantage points IMHO from this are Poe, Binay and Mirriam, with Duterte being highly criticized both in local and international scenes lately.  Because of the recent turn of events, I feel really bad that four of the people I know who were pro-Duterte are turning their votes to Mirriam, even if they know that she will not win   I just hope that this is just an isolated case, and that it'll not affect Duterte in winning at all.  Let's continue to pray for him.

Anuman ang issue, DUTERTE parin ako. Di lang sya magaling magsalita, madalas padalos dalos pero totoo sya. Palpak lang talaga sa mga choice of words pero it doesnt mean na di sya magaling na pinuno. Yung iba mabulaklak nga at magaling magsalita, corrupt at sinungaling naman. Too good to be true ang peg.
