^Is that the church thats located an hour away from your venue? It's nice and simple:) Just add more flowers I guess:) Also, Im sure your guests will understand. Saka theyll be in Panglao, vacay sila. If youre worried about them getting hungry, maybe you can provide snacks they can take on their way to the venue.

What do you guys think of this church? Sa tingin nyo ba mapapaganda with styling? Eto ang suggestion ng wedding planner namin.

Sis that is a very beautiful church. Parang ang aliwalas niya tignan. The altar is simple and very elegant. Simple flower arrangements lang pwede na kasi ang ganda na niya.

Re the travel time, personally sis I don't mind kung malayo yung church from the reception venue basta when we arrive sa venue may refreshments and small snacks na available. So I guess your guests would feel the same way. If you're bothered, sabi nga ni sis rowan you can provide something on the way, especially water siguro kasi baka medyo mainit.

My planner said the church one hour away is just too far to travel. She's going to look for other churches.

The photos I posted are of the church that is close. I asked her to pencil book that one in case we can't find anything.

If we cannot find anything at all, we will end up with a beach ceremony. Not ideal but we need to get married on that day.

This is making me wish I took out wedding insurance. If I did, I would just cancel everything and start from scratch.

Nice naman yung church sis styling will make it more elegant. Yung ibang destination wedding may broken times around 2-3 hours  ang alam ko so some what they do is they serve cocktail or small food after the ceremony area then let the guest settle or enjoy the place while waiting for your post nup shoot. Pwede magbali ng mga ibang rules naman, although will cost some extra charges. Or if they stay in same hotel they can refresh a bit first.

Hi Sis LilaFowler, an hour of travel from the church to the venue is too far for me. Kasi pag province, considering na walang traffic, mahabang biyahe nga yun. That's just for me ha kasi if it is my wedding and knowing yung mga guests namin, it will take some time for them going to church then coming back for the reception (assuming they booked their hotel near your venue).
Unless, if you know that your guests will enjoy their road trip, then there's no problem.

My coordinator posted a photo of a wedding she did there last weekend. May scaffolding na nga. I feel bad for the couple kasi ang panget tignan.

What is really annoying about this is that complete na sana all suppliers ko. Minor details na lang. Now the most important supplier is a big question mark...

Sayang nga wala na yung Baclayon (the oldest church) in Bohol. Nabisita ko pa yun dati before the earthquake.

Girls! Finally may date na kami. Although in the end we opted for December 2017 na lang. Hopefully hindi kami mahirapan mgbook ng mga suppliers. At least may final date na para makapagstart na kami.
Si mother ko na lang un kinausap namin ng sister ko regarding sa date. Hopefully yan talaga yun best date para sa amin.

Naku I think mas mahirap naman yan problem mo LilaFowler. Baka mas gusto ni God na sa iba ka na lang makasal. Baka hindi yun yung ideal niya para sayo. Kaya niyo yan. Aja!  Pray pray na lang.

sis ms.pharmer so happy for you sis!! Do you have exact date na? Try looking for a church and reception venue na hindi masyado malayo sis para hindi ka mabother sa traffic.

sis LilaFowler Hope you can find a church soon sis. Tama ka na church pa naman yung most important supplier. But I'm sure you can find it soon. There are may churches naman in panglao.

Hi sis LilaFowler the one you posted here maganda naman kayang kaya na yun ng styling.. Tama ba yun yung malapit sa venue niyo? Just keep calm and pray sis.. Magagawan din yan ng paraan. I agree with our sisters na pag medyo malayo baka gutumin sila unless you'll cover the transpo ang snacks, but if not maganda naman yung malapit na church kaya I think ok na yun. Yung venue niyo naman super ganda din naman na. Best of luck, sis!

Maganda sya sis @LilaFowler. Parang nadaanan ko na yan one time when I was in Bohol. In fairness, there are many beautiful churches and tennis courts in Bohol.

About sa venue, I think Century Hotel na ata eh. Napuntahan na namin ni h2b eh. And yun church baka St. Peter the Apostle MS_JanDel. Hopefully, maging smooth lahat. heheh
